I met Paul and Linda McCartney when they came to sign the advertising agreement for "Live and Let Die" at Billboard magazine at 9000 Sunset in LA. My Uncle Peter Heine was director of advertising. He had to go down the hall and get the contract. I was left alone with Paul and Linda for about 15 minutes. They were both very nice to me. On the way home my Uncle Peter asked me what I thought about Paul and Linda. I said "They seem like regular people to me." My Uncle responded "They are regular people with exceptional jobs." I was 13 years old. You always remember somebody who is nice to you. Thanks Paul

“They are regular people with exceptional jobs” That’s an amazing way of putting it. But yeah McCartney certainly has filled many lives with joy hasn’t he?
I'm a student at LIPA (on Paul's songwriting course) and I was there four rows from the centre. Being from Sheffield having Jarvis was an unexpected joy as we didn't get told who the interviewer was beforehand. There were 250 tickets available (all for free) on a first-come first-served basis, and just before they started the interview they read out who's questions were going to be asked. My name was called out but mine was skipped for time reasons unfortunately, however I won't complain as after this the curtain dropped and Paul was there with his band to play a secret set with Giles Martin (son of George Martin) on sound! He played a spontaneous number of obscure tracks (including From Me To You for the first time ever as a solo artist) and I still can't believe how lucky I was to be just metres away from this man in a small hall hearing these songs I grew up with.
Yes, the same Jarvis who showed his ass to the world in front of Michael Jackson, was chased off the stage and then proceeded to have sex with a random stranger under a flight of stairs...
McCartney was brilliant but we must give credits due for Jarvis, he's the perfect interviewer. The way he speaks, talks and addresses Paul, emanates a certain calmness that makes you feel like you're part of an intimate conversation. It's just such a comfortable feeling.
This is a William interview, not a "Paul McCartney" interview. It is bizarre hearing William pretending he was there from the beginning. Bill is only good at making up stories.
moonage daydream Can you imagine the incredible band there could be in Heaven right now? Talents and Souls like John, Paul, George and Ringo are rarer than the rarest diamonds and yet fate brought them together. All I can say is, there has to be some higher power to make that miracle happen. God bless Paul and Ringo, RIP George Harrison & John Lennon ❤️❤️
How dignified and gracious of Paul to answer the question: "Of all the artists you've worked with over the course of your career, who do you admire the most?" with the answer: "My fellow Beatles. John Lennon."
@@richardichard4237 whether he is or isn't has nothing at all to do with how he conducted the interview which was the point of the original comment. If Jarvis Cocker is what you suggest he is, how do you you know that the person who wrote the original comment doesn't know that anyway? What Jarvis Cocker is and how he conducted this conversation are different.
@@peterf08 And on the same album photo that was Maharishi Yogi heading them across the zebra crossing as Lennon had drowned the year before in the Thames after losing control of his Rolls Royce.
@@soulschoolboy66 is this true the Paul death is now widely accepted though the media still bluffs he's written his memoirs but Johm. MMM he'd obviously changed by the time of the 1980 shooting as doctors treating him said THAT'S NOT JOHN LENNON. Can you point me to info about this please !!?
Loved the bit about the prank phone calls with John. Finally some off the wall questions. Most interviewers ask Paul the same thing over and over. Kudos to Jarvis Cocker.
Sebastian Maharg Lol, me and my brother did prank phone calls exactly the same way. We also pitched down the voice and immortalized these calls with another tape recorder.
That would be an even more amazing story than the truth. This elaborate, money making plan when no one had a clue they could possibly become as successful as they did. They were turned down by every record company before George Martin decided to give them a shot. Feel sorry for him?! He's as successful, talented, brilliant and lucky as a person
I think Paul has gracefully mellowed over the years, and his self-deprecating humor is adorable. And when he ever said his fellow Beatles were the musicians he enjoyed working with and admired the most, I melted. ❤️🙏🏻
I agree that he has mellowed. I think there have been times in the past when he felt he had something to prove post-Beatles, and so he sometimes seemed a little insecure and ego-driven. Not anymore! Now he seems comfortable with himself, just one of our beloved Beatles full of wit and humility and wonderful stories. We love him more than ever now.
I love the way Paul always gives so much of himself. He knows Jarvis is nervous but Paul is so kind graceful and humble he makes people feel relaxed. What a guy, possibly the greatest man
When I was 15, I fell in love with Paul’s beautiful eyes and beautiful voice. Now, at seventy, I am in love with Paul’s fantastic personality, too! True love never dies. I could listen to him talk forever. His reminiscing reminds me of my Uncle Tom, who played the piano while my Mom and her four sisters sang, danced, and partied into the wee hours of the morning. May God bless him, his beautiful family. I wonder if he has a clue as to how much joy he has gifted us with his many gifts? What an amazing man and his humility and humor make him truly one of a kind! Great interview!❤️
Patricia Burke While I agree that he's still the most gifted living musician on earth and he's the one Beatle that's always felt the most joy with pleasing an audience, I'd say the one Beatle who's most down to earth is and has always been Ringo. All the four of them have always had an enormous fame, stardom, and charisma about them, but I think Ringo's always been able to make you most feel at ease like you're having a pint with an ol' pal. I suppose with John, you'd discuss politics and world affairs, with Paul, you discuss chords, studio technology, and production values, with George, you'd discuss Khrishna, world hunger, and all the selfishness and ego in the world, while most people would probably like to talk to Ringo about yesterday's football match besides his drumming and the ol' times with the gang.
tlatosmd, What an interesting analogy! I recently saw Cirque de Soleil in Vegas featuring old videos and Beatles music, which I highly recommend. Each Beatle was, and still is ,very special and they all played an amazing role in our hearts. Paul will always be extra special to me. His stories of his family singing old songs around the piano remind me of my family’s good old house parties with my Mom’s four sisters, and cousins, etc. I was a folk singer in a high school group. The Beatles and soul groups like The Supremes, The Four Tops, Mary Wells, Dionne Warwick, etc. extended my love of music way beyond the folk genre, so, I thank them for that. I paint, draw etc. and play a little guitar and piano, so, I have some common passions with Paul. We all have our favorites and let’s be thankful we lived while they played their wonderful music together. Thank God we still can enjoy Paul and Ringo!
Who cares? If this school was in the U.S., the students / people in the audience would have been talking over him, looking at their phones, or sleeping.
Never seen Paul so relaxed and funny. Fantastic interview and him and Jarvis so do more together. Learnt a lot about him and his history which considering so much is known , that’s pretty amazing.
This was truly riveting. I could also listen to Paul go on for hours. After watching the James Corden's special I wished I could have been in that pub listening to that surprise concert. What a gift. "Meet the Beatles" was the first album I ever purchased (with my birthday money) and with that sparked a love and appreciation for these four guys from Liverpool. Last year my husband and I went to Liverpool and visited Paul and John's home as well as many other relevant sites. Thank you Paul for sharing your gifts and your message with the world.

Remember kids , stay in music school and learn all the scales, or you might end up like Paul. It is so refreshing that Paul does not take himself too seriously. I love you Paul.
@@allymayful Before I watched this interview, I had never heard of Jarvis or Pulp. The students seemed to recognize Jarvis as he walked out, so I thought he was one of the teachers.
Yes, Paul has evidently grown out of a seeming insecurity he perhaps felt sometimes post-Beatles, or so it seems to me. Post-Beatles he sometimes seemed to feel he had to prove himself, and his ego was sort of manifesting in the wrong way, getting in the way. But I've noticed in recent interviews that that seems all gone now. Now he's totally comfortable with himself and a pure joy to listen to. So nice to see Paul this way, since he's such a big part of what we love about the Beatles.
I saw Paul in concert here in Vancouver 2 weeks ago july 6 2019. Like so many others, The Beatles music has been the background music of my life. I could not imagine another artists' concerts creating such an atmosphere of harmony and love as his shows do! It comes from the overall messages of love found in Beatles songs as well as his own music past the group. I am impressed so much by his humility, generosity and spirit of love. He truly appreciates his role and knows the effect he has had on people all over the world! Thank you Sir Paul McCartney for the gift you have given to all...and your understanding..you have brought much love to the world!
This is utterly brilliant. Jarvis is a superbly relaxed, inquisitive interviewer who knows when to speak and when not to, and Paul is...well, he's fucking Paul McCartney! One of the loveliest, most interesting and funny interviews of Macca I've ever seen.
i'd say paul is our present day musical dickens. ❤️ quick-witted, intuitive, feeds his music and stories from the little things he notices around him, he loves play on words, he loves performing (and only ch.dickens could perform ch.dickens best), he's written endless material, and like dickens's stories, paul's music will be around for a very long time to come. i admire both of them very much. no better writer, no better musican.
Sadly, I am too young to have experienced any of 'ch. dickens' live performances. Are their any recordings available, maybe on acetate 78's or maybe wax cylinders? However, I can claim that my great-great-great grandfather was married in the same church as Charles Dickens - just 3 years earlier St Lukes in Chelsea (England . Obviously, dur!)
Wow. What a truly special and wonderful gift this is. I'd listen to Paul's stories for hours and hours and hours. Absolutely amazing interview, Mr. Pulp. Thumbs up. Way up.
I'd be honored if some McCartney fans would check out my acoustic piano & vocal cover of his early masterpiece BLACKBIRD on my channel. Live acoustic with no autotune or digital enhancements. Thanks and peace.
Yea and his dad and his brother just accepted it and so did all his friends and Jane didn't say a word about it and everybody he worked with all just kept their mouths shut lol. And there's a monster in the loch by Inverness 50 foot long and if you stay up late enough on the 24th of December a big fat man with a beard shoots down your chimney 😂
Unlike any other interview of McCartney. Him being at his old school, that he bought and and sponsors courses is truly " passing it forward" to others that are inspired. He himself is an inspiration to us as musicians, songwriters, Beatle fans, or any others that are still in wonder with affinity for their music, young or old. Bravo. Thank you for posting.
What a great interview - no interruptions just a talk . What a brilliant host well done Jarvis. Paul is wonderful he is like a story teller of old - the keeper of memories of the tribe and now with John and George gone it becomes even more important to remember. I love the Beatles and I love Paul forever and a day . Their music brought so much joy to my life and best memories. Love you Paul. Forever in my prayers 🙏
❤️I cherish these interviews. It's so wonderful to hear all the old tales of the Beatles days. Thanks so much, Paul! Please keep sharing these magical stories! x❤️
Looking good Macca. You're the reason for my name. My mam was a Beatles fan. And I have lovely memories of dancing with her round the living room to The Beatles and Buddy Holly. Sadly she died when I was 9, and I have lovely memories of her love of music which has been passed on to me.
So incredible that this is the guy who is one of the Fab Four!!! Great sense of humor and still a nice looking guy! Macca, I have always loved you and your music! And I have the same name as your mum, Mary!! Blessings always.
Paul still looks the same as in the sixties. His soul is and will stay forever young. Thanks Paul, I am the same age, so I can speak, although I don't look as young and fresh - alas. Bravo, bless you.
I absolutely love music. It's the one thing in my life that has always seemed mystical to me. The Beatles came on the scene when I was 14 and I was immediately captivated. They have brought me so much joy over the years. If I get into Beatles mode I can listen to their songs for hours. The harmonies, everything about them, is really on another level from other groups. It was a one in a million chance that happened and completely changed the reality we live in. Thanks for all the memories, Paul.
americanstrife no you write right to left. two of my kids did that, with their rights hands though. they also opened books back to front and wrote mirrored letters. i'm still convinced they are actually left handed, but trained to use their right hands.
I was there! By some incredible luck. He did an acoustic set after this talk which included “I’ve just seen a face” “Every Night” “We can work it out” and quite a few others. I hope he releases the whole set one day
I noticed in this interview how articulate Paul is. No long pauses, uhs, or normal faults almost all of us have. His thoughts, like much of his music, translates into superlative communication.
When I was a kid, someone gave me a Beatles Greatest Hits on 8 track tape. Back then, I didn't like the Beatles much, and I threw the 8 track tape into the closet. Sometime around the time I was 15, the summer before I turned 16, my granddad passed away, and I kind of inherited his car. I put an 8 track player in the car, and I pulled that tape out of the closet. I listened to just that 8 track for 3-4 months and fell in love with them. Today, I readily admit they are my favorite group of all time. I just worship their music. None better.... And Paul was always my favorite.
Great interview, totally genuine and what a freaking artist- He and his mates saved many of us after JFK was assassinated by giving us their gifts of music. thanks.
We could have saved ourselves had we not bought into the cover-up and went after the real killers. But then we were distracted, you see. The coup of '63 turned our country irrevocably into a place run by toadies of the ultra rich complete with a Potemkin Democracy and half our taxes going straight into their pockets through a war machine that bleeds us all dry.
I was 4 and my parents tell me that I wouldn't stop crying because I wanted to see the Beatles on Sullivan.. and in those days only 1 tv.. my dad always watched his Western show.. anyway he let me watch show.. I don't remember but that's a 60 year old story in our family.. lol.. Beatles 4 Ever!..

FINALLY an interview that isn't someone just geeking out with generic "oh my god you're Paul McCartney" questions. I feel like Paul really opened up and showed that coy and playful side of him that was so very prevalent during interviews of the Beatles-era. His remark at 25:45 made me laugh out loud big-time.
Thank you everyone that had the responsibility to bring this interview & others to the forefront & public. These productions I'm seeing for the first time are as they say, "Just What the Doctor Ordered". I love to sing & I am very passionate about the great music I choose to celebrate. This was very needed by someone whom has loved all the Beatles and their amazing music as a group & individually since 1963. God bless this holy goodness of spirit. BA

Yes, that was the first time I ever saw the name "Paul McCartney" in anything other than a charismatic magical light. For the first time I saw how, if the Beatles music had never been, McCartney might seem an unbeautiful name suggestive of, say, a pauper's cart full of junk. But Paul with his Beatles made the name McCartney a name of power, beauty, magic.
I totally agree with the comments below. This is one of the best interviews (and interviewers) that has ever been done with Paul. The content was a breath of fresh air and gave insights to Paul and his music that even hardened Beatles fans like me are happy to have. Well done Paul. Well done Jarvis.
Yorkshire name, Cocker. Like Metcalfe. Same name as that Sheffield gas-fitter who garbled "With a Little Help from My Friends" into a gross parody of American English. Tosser!
I read the news today and it was good. Congratulations Paul, for regaining rights to the Beatles Song Catalog. It's right where it needs to be and should have been all along. So So So happy for you!!!!!
Peetjemuwijk - Ha Ha, Yeah, People will keep a secret if they think it’s for a good cause, even the grieving family and Jane Asher , I recommend that you watch a documentary called the winged Beatle, it shows what happened, Faul McCartney didn’t even go to his fathers funeral, because it was not his blood father . . The Rotten Apple Series is another amazing look at the truth, and if you still have any doubts all about it, Have Another Look at the colour film footage in the movie called “HELP” & compare it to the magical mystery tour a short time after. . It’s clear to see that we are looking at two completely different individuals.
I have seen snippets of Pauls humour obviously over the decades. This video is a classic insight into this great quality of his. His take on other artists is also interesting❤ Very enjoyable, thanks
Extended conversations such as this are virtually impossible in older formats such as television and radio. People seem so much more relaxed and genuine when they can tell their stories and not be bothered with the timing constraints of commercial interruptions. Paul was great and Jarvis did a good job letting him be himself. I've been a fan of Paul's music for years. I might now be a fan of Paul the person.
I really like how Paul McCartney answers the question, how do I write a successful song? He simply says, in his plain-spoken way, in the way that he always talks, he speaks openly about the necessity, when you're writing a new song to go to a quiet place, free your mind of distractions, and go with an energy that comes with being on the guitar, try new things vocally, come up with some words that sound and feel magical, and then just keep on going following it through, and seeing what happens. This is exactly the way I feel it is done when I most enjoy it! And to hear someone like him say that really is a huge turn-on! So forward to 52:47 in the video where he answers that question and maybe it'll make a lot of sense to you too. (The answer goes on to around 55:37, and during the answer he talks about the internal debate about recording "song snippets" with your phone, though you'll rarely really go back to later, this is exactly the way it happens for me!) BTW, I really like where Paul is going with his brand these days. It really feels like he's entering into the phase where he's going to be slowing down and not being the big pop star anymore. He's still going to rock out and he's still going to play concerts and maybe record, write some new songs, but now that he's got his gray hair showing and he's probably not going to update the face lift he had years ago, it's looking like Paul is easily settling into his "Rock Elder Statesman-Hood." Which is OK by me! I think he's wearing it really well.
lol Paul looks like a fashion victim, white shirt to blend with the white hair, plain black trousers and lovely canvas shoe's! lol.. His taste in clothe's is like his taste in woman!
LOVE LOVE LOVE seeing Paul talk, he is such a classy person. Love all his stories. As a songwriter I especially relate to his conversations about songwriting!!
Paul is such a gift to humanity. He's so open, humble, witty, entertaining and warm. My favorite Beatle is probably Ringo but he's not nearly as well spoken or as open during his interviews. George was also very reserved. John was the only other one with the ability or willingness to express himself well but unfortunately he was often full of anger or frustration in interviews and tragically didn't have the chance to live long enough to "mellow out", for lack of a better word, with age. So sad that we never got an older, wiser John appearing alongside our Paul and reflecting.
❤❤❤Dear beloved legendary Paul Mccartney, what a gracious, kind, gifted, humorous, lovely soul you are!! Your humility, charm, modesty & playfulness are beyond astounding! I can listen to you talk to the end of time. Truly, you are God's blessing to all. So much life lessons to be learned from you Sir extraordinary! ❤❤❤❤
What a great couple they are. They should run a show together 😂😂. They both are such humble guys after all what they have done, Paul and Jarvis. We need more like them.
I really like the discussion about "albums" as a complete body of work intended to be listened to all the way through. Paul is right. The biz has moved away from that. The focus is just on "hits", on "singles". Way back when, the singles were the hook to get you to buy the album and then discover the other styles and types of music that an artist could do that weren't necessarily "radio ready". The art of music has lost out by not keeping the focus on the album.
This is true but I don't really understand why to be honest. With streaming becoming popular its now easier than ever to listen to albums... you don't even need to buy them anymore
David Wilder i'd say he's our present day musical dickens 😉 quick-witted, intuitive, feeds his music and his stories from the little things he notices around him, he loves play on words, he loves performing, and as dickens's stories, his music will be there for along time to come. i admire both of them very much.
@JamesLogan-jn3dn I have been a fan of Paul McCartney since there was only two channels on tv, four tracks in a recording studio, no congestion on the roads, strangers actually said hello on the street, you could have a night out and a takeaway and still have change from a fiver. Quite a while is the answer lol ✌
You are listening to William. He is NOT a "Macca". Get in your head that it was real Paul McCartney before late 1966 and from late 1966 and until today it have been William playing the role of "Paul McCartney". Taking in what William says as historical facts are a BIG MISSTAKE because it will come a day when you must unlearn all the nonsense he have said on camera about the days BEFORE he joined Beatles.
Sir PMC, good chat. Saw him twice a few years back, one show for xmas, the other was the following summer; brilliant fun shows and Beatles memories, he's just such a great guy.
Minji majewski - Yeah, The Original James Paul McCartney died back in 1966 . . These people can keep putting their heads in the sand , However the Truth is the Truth & one Day it will be public Knowledge. . The Winged Beatle is a great documentary & a great way to have a look at the colour film footage, Just Like The Work Done by Tina Foster & Her Side by Side photographic evidence. . : I Love Billy Shears
I love Paul, but he's being too modest about his musical knowledge. When you play guitar or piano long enough and you learn chords you start understanding the relationships between them more and more, so for him to say he doesn't have musical theory knowledge, is not true, he does, just not in the formal way. There is no way this man does not know diminished or augmented chords, or add9s or maj7s, he OBVIOUSLY does. Some of those earliest songs had those chords in there, and the man himself was knocking out amazing chord changes like Michelle.
Even "She Loves You" alone had a augmented V chord at the end, and I hear a Cm6 in the harmony vocal. during the verse (I know the guitar just plays a straight Cm).
"Too modest" is a judgement. Furthermore, there are MANY excellent musicians who don't know the technical vocabulary of chords or scales. They have practiced and spent TONS of time at their instruments. They come to understand it all, but that doesn't mean that they know and/or USE the terminology.
Trev, I saw a recent video on you tube on this very topic,...the jazz type chords like add 9, cmin7, etc. The lads went to a local shop, a record shop when they were still quite young, and learned jazz chords, and how to add flavor to chord progressions from an older dude, who was a jazz guitarist. I believe the video is called "the genius of Paul McCartney on guitar. It is a video that shows some of Paul`s guitar parts on various tracks. He did videos on John and George ,with the same title(using their names,of course) and all of them are cool, and really great to see as a guitarist..if you happen to play,as I do. Check them out man, good stuff!
I watched the 50th A.m.A. and I lost it , because Sir Paul said that he didn't realize how much of an impact that the Beatles had an has on people's lives. I couldn't stop cryin I'm 65 now and I'd be writing a book on just how much they were an impact on my life. My first album were the Beatles and I still have it and everything that was made by Sir Paul ,John, George, and RIngo.all of you made us feel like we knew you just listening and the really Bad things that happened in ours lives seemed to fade as we listened to our most beloved People, im so glad an honored to have had the pleasure of getting to hear something that made my childhood and Adult hood much easier. ❤ Thank you is just not enough.

Jarvis Cocker is an artist with a literally genius level IQ.

I think Paul has gracefully mellowed over the years, and his self-deprecating humor is adorable. And when he ever said his fellow Beatles were the musicians he enjoyed working with and admired the most, I melted. ❤️🙏🏻
Paul was always pretty mellow.
That was a beautiful moment.
Yes! ❤️
You're such a sweetheart, can we have a chit chat

What a great comment, I love him too. All the best.
Wow you’re a true fan
Ethan Perdulla , Isn’t everyone? He is very gifted yet down to earth. A truly wonderful man!

This is lovely. Paul normally comes across very guarded and sort of nervously jokey in interviews, but here he seems so comfortable and at ease.
Extended conversations such as this are virtually impossible in older formats such as television and radio. People seem so much more relaxed and genuine when they can tell their stories and not be bothered with the timing constraints of commercial interruptions.

I saw a pic of the Beatles on Walter Cronkite on feb 7, 1964 ... my mouth DROPPED. Then I heard them two days later ... OMG!
(The answer goes on to around 55:37, and during the answer he talks about the internal debate about recording "song snippets" with your phone, though you'll rarely really go back to later, this is exactly the way it happens for me!)
BTW, I really like where Paul is going with his brand these days.

This was excellent.
I've always loved Jarvis.

Sir PMC, good chat. Saw him twice a few years back, one show for xmas, the other was the following summer; brilliant fun shows and Beatles memories, he's just such a great guy.
My son was there and a few days later sir Paul was at the graduation with Nile Rodgers and toyah...Great day.
Paul is LOVE
Alex w Paul is dead.
@Mingi Majewski
No, he's not dead. That'd be your brain.
Paul is Billy
Let me ask you ppl this. Where are George and John’s plastic surgery body doubles hmm?🤨 If Paul’s ‘double’ was so quickly chosen.
Two legends having a conversation, nice!
"Sir Paul" (William) is not a legend. What he is can only be defined once the truth is out.
@@OlskZeri-qm4ce wooow, and i thought i was dumb...
@@spacecowboy1933William replaced JPM as an already set up affair 1966. It is not about being "dumb" it is about the truth.
@@TheVeek192 There is nothing wrong with judgement.
He probably just knows the fingerings rather than the chord names
I really love how hes never lost his scouse sence of humor!
I watched the 50th A.m.A. and I lost it , because Sir Paul said that he didn't realize how much of an impact that the Beatles had an has on people's lives. I couldn't stop cryin
I'm 65 now and I'd be writing a book on just how much they were an impact on my life.
They were FIVE members in total altough not at the same time: John, Paul, George, Ringo and last member in William aka "Sir Paul".
i could listen to sir paul for hours, listening to all his stories...loved it !
you like to listen to a substitute who ist an imposter??? You don+t listen to Paul but to Billy Shears

December 12th 2021 - what a Brilliant interview!
Thank you Jarvis Cocker and THANK YOU Sir Paul McCartney
Honestly one of the best interviews of Paul Ive seen. Jarvis has a superb talent as interviewer here. Not that I’d expect anything less, he’s fantastic.
Too bad all the lies that is coming from "Sir Paul" (William).
Are you an idiot?
@@olskzeri2723 Shhhh dozy feck, its only doze head feck's that are not musicians or that are musically challenged social media sheep that keep on talking about this. Serious musicians or anyone who has a clue about music never EVER talk about this Billy Shear thing. It's a long disproved fun fact that had the gullible going for a while until Facebook, youtube, Instagram and the mindless sheep like yourself amongst others like flat earth, 9/11 conspiracy that no planes hit the buildings', man never landed landed on the moon , space is CGI , etc etc yawn . Im not sure if you care you understand music? but you dont. I am never wrong
My favourite musician of all time! Thanks for everything Sir Paul 👏🤩
You are such a gift to the whole world. Are you retiring? I saw your memoirs and panicked cuz I thought what will we do without Paul?
Your happiness and wellbeing is more important than me wanting to hear you all the time. I m just curious 🤗
Love Paul... he’s not only extremely talented, but, so real and down to earth. His childhood reminds me of my own. My uncle played the piano and my Mom, aunts & family would sing and dance around the piano. I’m a senior, close to his age. Those old songs were great. Paul ‘s Golden Slumbers reminds me of those days. Thanks for this! I could listen to Paul all day & never get bored! I’ll see you in my dreams! Lol!Take care & God bless.🌹
But this is NOT Paul McCartney. This is old "Sir Paul" (William) lying trough his teeth, pretending to be Paul McCartney.
And regarding "Golden slumbers". That is William's lullaby to the dead Paul McCartney.
Brilliant interview, would have loved to have been in the audience. Macca is an absolute legend - read the book Many years from now to get some more of his tales!
So excited to be studying acting at LIPA this September. Sir Paul is incredible.
Seems like such a grounded fellow. Still sharp. Honestly as a fan since 8, I’m PRETTY sure I’d just burst into tears if I saw the guy.
I would definitely burst into tears and then probably faint :(
Great interview and indeed we're lucky Paul 's in the world. Relaxing interview.
