She has a technical check list for 'success' in her mind which includes having a family, and she's simply trying to tick the box. So sad. She's missing the whole point of that aspect of her life. She had a brief moment of self perception when she said that sometimes she sets it up to fail because she's afraid of dealing with the pain. Her whole demeanor is a facade. Beneath it is a person who is deeply insecure. That tough guy attitude is a coping mechanism. She couldn't just relax and say, look it's not a love match but let's share a meal and laugh it off. She's literally one of the most obnoxious people I've seen on First Dates. Him saying he was talking to a "shell of a person" is literally what she seemed like to me -- just an uninteresting, rude and bland person who couldn't have the decency to wait until the end of the meal to leave. And it's so common to ask the person's age on a date, she could've just said she was "in her thirties" or something like that. I'm a woman and I think there is no problem telling your age. Whether you look it your age or not doesn't matter it isn't important. Age doesn't equal looks, it equals lived experience and you should be proud to be able to say a high number!!

I was to meet a young woman whom I was crazy about. She had one blind eye, diabetes. She had issues and kept telling me she was a mess. So, I walked into the Chinese restaurant we agreed on and she wasn't there. The place stunk like egg drop soup, thick air, etc. I left to my car and she called to say she was in the restaurant. Maybe, the restroom? Maybe her spies in the parking lot saw me about to bail? I go back in, sit, and she was radiant. Quite beautiful to me. I told her how I drove up to L.A. to see me aunt, then to Murrietta to have dinner with her. I mentioned my other aunt lived nearby and she got all offended. I literally built a CSV database and named it after her huggy pillow she called, "Valdez." She excused herself to the restroom and texted how she was not feeling well. So I left and thanked her for at least showing up. She was happy to get my flowers but we just kept our distance until she passed away. I went ahead and built an AI program and named it after her crazy alter ego. She warned me she was going to be a problem but our interactions were so inspirational to me.
What a great attitude that man has, a proper gentleman throughout, that match was certainly not suited to him. You cannot mix oil and water they will never blend together no matter how much you try. She's literally one of the most obnoxious people I've seen on First Dates. Him saying he was talking to a "shell of a person" is literally what she seemed like to me -- just an uninteresting, rude and bland person who couldn't have the decency to wait until the end of the meal to leave. And it's so common to ask the person's age on a date, she could've just said she was "in her thirties" or something like that. Shes a stereotypical business woman. She’s not willing to compromise , seems very uptight and I doubt she’ll find anyone who will put up with her. Also she’s extremely rude , I noticed how she didn’t say please to the waiter. No basic manners is a huge red flag amongst her others.
When they say, I like a guy with some push back. No they dont. They like a guy who resists at first but concedes anyway.
Truthfully her voice would get me.

From the comments, I thought she would be awful. To work in fashion is to work in a vomitous industry - which repeatedly tries to push fur wearing back into popularity. this girl has deep seated issues and she is the one to be avoided at all costs. I’m sure if she finds anybody to settle with it’s gonna be living nightmare for that person. Which i’d wish for nobody ever. Mad respect for the guy for his attitude and I wish him the best.

Omid, you dodged a bullet! It’s easy to see why she is not married. She clearly has no people skills at all, he was relaxed and easy to chat to. If you can’t chat to an easygoing guy like Omid you aren’t going to find a husband. I am very happily married and I can’t imagine treating a perfectly nice, friendly guy like she did. Wow.
I mean at least she didn't ghost him. I was fully expecting her to just leave without any closure whatsoever. She actually talked to him about it before leaving. I don't care for her shallowness but I do respect the fact that she was straightforward with him about not feeling it and leaving.

I'm a woman and I think there is no problem telling your age. Whether you look it your age or not doesn't matter it isn't important. Age doesn't equal looks, it equals lived experience and you should be proud to be able to say a high number!!

A big part of the “egg quality” equation involves the chromosomal status of the egg. The rate of chromosomal abnormalities in eggs (and therefore also in embryos) increases significantly with advancing female age. At age 30 about 30% of eggs are chromosomally abnormal. By age 40 about 60% are abnormal and by 44 years old 90% are abnormal. And I know your friend, aunt, cousin, work colleague had a kid at 42. Unless you were in the room when they conceived I advise going by the science.
Its crazy to me how she considers herself "mature" but yet asking for someone's age is somehow taboo. I mean if shes serious about wanting to get into a relationship, what is wrong with telling how old you are. Just a very odd woman and very dismissive attitutde from the start of everything he says.

I was to meet a young woman whom I was crazy about. She had one blind eye, diabetes. She had issues and kept telling me she was a mess.
So, I walked into the Chinese restaurant we agreed on and she wasn't there. The place stunk like egg drop soup, thick air, etc. I left to my car and she called to say she was in the restaurant. Maybe, the restroom? Maybe her spies in the parking lot saw me about to bail?
I go back in, sit, and she was radiant. Quite beautiful to me. I told her how I drove up to L.A. to see me aunt, then to Murrietta to have dinner with her. I mentioned my other aunt lived nearby and she got all offended.
I literally built a CSV database and named it after her huggy pillow she called, "Valdez."
She excused herself to the restroom and texted how she was not feeling well. So I left and thanked her for at least showing up.
She was happy to get my flowers but we just kept our distance until she passed away. I went ahead and built an AI program and named it after her crazy alter ego.
She warned me she was going to be a problem but our interactions were so inspirational to me.
What a great attitude that man has, a proper gentleman throughout, that match was certainly not suited to him. You cannot mix oil and water they will never blend together no matter how much you try. Manners go along way, it costs absolutely nothing to be nice. I wish that man all the best in meeting a s partner who will respect and raise him up 💯
