It’s only in the past century women haven’t been subjugated. For the rest of history, women were basically second class citizens, and in some countries, they still are. As women we have to assert ourselves, otherwise many men will take advantage. We still live in a patriarchal society that expects women to play small. She also explained her history, which I’m sure has fed into her more assertive character.

How this is going to play out,- she will end up being demanding, he will try for a very long time to please her, because he really likes her, but he won't, she will then dump him and he will be back at square one, .. and so will she.. No give and take on her part part once in the relationship. In the end nobody wants to live with someone for life, when it has to be their way all the time. Six months on, I wonder if I am right?
