🫡Sup, I don't agree with Nerfs but it seems most of these was to level out the viability of the gear and weapons. Some were (st. Elmo's) are so extreme (it's mods and stability) that it's crazy not to play with them only. I like buffing the npc too. But hey, I'm out there crazy anyway, I play exclusively with Glass Cannon and Chameleon 😂

I'm not even great, but I farmed to try to copy builds on YT....and they do this, while enemy's shred you with a quarter of their magazine. Sad
The strategy seem so be:

Totally agree. I play at the highest difficulty I can, against bullet sponges, I'm not overpowered. Play 99% solo PvE.

Honestly they are buffing SO MANY other things, I think it will even out. I kind of expect a new meta to emerge that basically matches the DPS from striker's or even beats it. The buffs to Ongoing Carnage are going to be enormous, with more amp damage on the chest, more damage per round on the LMG (lower RPM though, of course), and if I recall, a buff to Sadist too. It's going to shake things up, and a nerf is never fun, but they are REALLY buffing a lot and I'm excited to see how things shape up.
Interesting that they did NOTHING to fix the garbage breaking point set though.
Buffs range from decent to great.
Nerfs range from pointless shuffling (high-end weapons) through unnecessary (St.Elmo, Scorpio) to retarded (high-end gear).
It seems what used to be the best will still be the best just worse and people will keep using the same stuff.

Its at this point I am glad I never cared to play what is so called META. I set my gear to my play style and am happy with that. Chasing Meta leads to disappointment. Peoples souls seem to ne crushed. My weapons took some glancing blows but nothing I cant deal with. Work the problem and adapt and overcome.

Why the scorpio? That weapon seems not used so much imo. However, im fine with St. Elmo's Engine and the Striker nerf. But the Ouroboros (i forgot the spell of it). That weapon got nerfed like twice. Isn't it?

Striker and St Elmo are so overpowered, this is a good start. When at least two people in any random group are running striker builds you know it’s just too much. Maybe folks will start to learn how to make interesting builds again.

So, they saw what the devs at Helldivers did ... nerfed everything, and everyone leaves the game. Bye bye! I guess Space Marines-2 is now my "Daily play" game ... maybe I'll touch D-2 once in a while. The Scorpio nerf .. killed it. They nerf'd Stikers before, so I expected them to take it away again. Battlefield had "tasks" with killing at a distance with an SMG, etc ... like this Symphony gear set ... it really was bad. Bullet deviation in Battlefield made these "Tasks" non-starters since skill was replaced by luck. BUT, they BUFF'd 5.11 ... LOL! Still .. nobody will use it!

Just like when Expertise arrived they take away power and make us jump through hoops to get any of it back. Not surprised they pull this again. Ubi hates money and dedicated players. Hope a lot of this gets reverted otherwise this may be the end of the road.

yes they totally don't want players to be powerful. Even the expertise system is a fraud. In PVE the NPC's are now faster and more armor.
Pretty sure Ubi wants to shut down the servers but doesn't want to "look bad" so they are forcing Massive to piss everyone off until the game has zero players left.

Relax, Its just a 6% nerf to Striker with St.Elmos (Without modifier)...With thoses Modifyer included, we are actually stronger.(PTS today) So the nerf is more to get get in line with the modifier than anything... So No Its not even going to be a big deal at all. So "Relax".

Here’s where I’m at now, uninstall. I’m done with rebuilding every time the dev’s decide they need to nerf/buff stats. They don’t need me to play cos they certainly don’t want me to enjoy playing. The game is actually dead for me now, the constant grinding to change my builds cos they nerf/buff on a whim just gets tiring. Enjoy your game, I won’t be back I’m done. Plenty of better games I can play

Am gunna speed run the new season and jump to the First Decendant where i feel powerful unlike Div 2 after almost 6 years we get weaker. The devs simply hate the community that pays their salary.

@@jermainemitchell9435 I stopped playing leagues paying for pass and also apparel. That's how I stopped supporting. The only thing I do right now is manhunt which takes me overall 1 hr max for each of the 4 targets so that's 4 hrs per season which is a huge drop from my end. I have almost 5k hrs into Div 2 and dor me that's it something that I am doing to show the devs that I don't have the motivation momentum and passion I used to have before.
@shadysaad1989 and other people will be like play on a lower difficulty if you want to feel powerful, but the rewards suck. And if we are such highly trained agents with gadgets, they should hit harder than they do. What they need to do is find a way to make difficulties matter without just creating bullet sponges with 10 times the armor we have, with laser sight and aim. How about improving enemy ai instead.
They purposely design high levels of time and resource investment into gear optimization then their shouldn’t be nerfs. This is a complete lack of respect for our time that I can’t trust them to invest anymore time.

Why do they spend so much time nerfing all the builds we love and use for 99% PVE play, but yet won’t take that same amount of time to fix broken aspects of the game that longer for months. Fucking laughable, sad to say I won’t be coming back this time. Loved this game, truly tragic. Please bring on Div 3…

I do love the franchise, and no game has ever given me this amount of “entertainment” for the money I invested, that being said, I’m hopefully optimistic (shame on me) that the next game will be dialed in. Will not be supporting the division 2 anymore though, morale of my story. They lost yet another dedicated player!

This is ridiculous, as soon as we have sets we like and optimize our gear, they throw this in. They should bring 6 piece sets as they did in div 1 vs this - this is one of the worst changes they announced ever

Making all these changes for the sake of "better balance" would have actually made sense if they hadn't changed picaro's holster. The whole point of it's locked secondary attribute is to be equivalent to 1 full weapon damage core. Nerfing that is just a spit in the face of the players. At this point the devs are actively trying to destroy it's player base.

I don't understand half of these nerfs. Picarcos was originally supposed to be able to have 2 red cores. Now it won't even have 1 full one? Why nerf grupo, ceska, providence? Why nerf striker? They buffed it after it was too weak, now they think it's too strong? Just buff the other gear sets, like you did for striker, and make them more viable. Project resolve buffed a lot of this stuff, now they're nerfing it right back? I don't like that they are nerfing the st elmos, but at least it will still be usable. But why nerf the mag on the oro? You nerfed the fire rate and the talent is already bad. What use will the oro have now? And why nerf obliterate? It's one of the few damage talents for chest pieces without stipulations. They don't know how to balance enemies so they'd rather nerf weapons and gear sets to just make us weaker. Not just massive, but Ubisoft as a whole just keeps taking L, after L, after L. And so the trend continues.
St Elmo’s will get a mods nerf also , not just the mag size

I just picked up the game like 2 weeks ago and all the things I spent hours farming for to get good rolls are getting nerfed lol. RIP, not really a great first impression for new players grinding their asses off for meta builds to catch up to the general player base. Also like you said in the video I've never felt strong once in my time playing the game, always feel like I'm chasing the power fantasy that doesn't even exist, even less so now.
They aren't any better for day 1 players of Division 1.

Wanna feel powerful? 4 piece hotshot with headhunter chest and vigilance backpack and m700 determined. Dont optimize anything zero expertise, trivializes all content in game.

The oro is useless now. Whatever with the fire rate but the talent is useless. With a useless mag now, it doesn't warrant being exclusive to a raid type mode.

I’ve started playing remnant 2 over the division. Looks like I’ll be sticking to that change. Wouldn’t be the first time the devs shit all over the game. And I bet the enemies will get more armour and hit harder too

If these nerfs are implemented, I'm done until Division 3. I've been grinding this game for over 1300 hours and am expertise lvl 18 (almost 19 (I know others have more time invested)). All that time invested into increasing expertise and upgrading weapons and gear is going out the window on many of my builds due to these proposed nerfs. I am not pleased.
As an lmg player I'm happy.

These guys are too d.umb to be true. First of all, why would they nerf PVE? You keep farming for resources, lvling your stuff, expertise and s.hit, then these guys nerf all that. It's like they simply don't care and respect our hours put in the game.

Well said, they are totally clueless. The NPC's are tankier with ever update and even more faster, They run faster than any human could possibly run. I would fire the entire team if I could.
I thought they were going to give us an _option_ to make rifles fully auto. If it can't be disabled, that will ruin the entire class for anyone who actually prefers semi-auto firing (like me). That upsets me more than any of the other nerfs, honestly--I can work around gear, but fundamentally changing a _whole weapon class_ is just.. WTF.
Re: the brand set nerfs, it's pretty clear that any set that sees popular use in a specific form--most 1-pc bonuses, Empress 3-pc, Airaldi 2-pc--got nerfed, along with every CHC and CHD buff (except for the CHD weapon mods, which really just corrects a longstanding allocation issue). This smacks more and more of a team desperate to regain control of player strength and how we play the game, and it's going to backfire badly unless they come up with something _very_ interesting to offset the nerfs.

@@kerwinhilario602 No, but some of these guns fire 4-5 times per second, and I don't want the chance of it firing more than once because I didn't pick up my finger fast enough. I read somewhere else that it will be a toggle, though, which resolves that issue nicely.

This games has become a Pokemon clone. How many gear sets can you collect??!!! NO ONE is asking for new gear sets. We want new adventures. New places to visit, new enemies, new fun weapons. "We want to give you a new experience"... A reskin of old assets is not what we want. In 6 years, one DLC. Second on the way... You know what is seems like? It's like amateur hour at massive. Like you have junior developers working on the game. They don't know what to do so they keep doing the same thing over and over, because they don't know how to do anything else. And what's really funny is that they can't prove me wrong. If you walk like a duck...

I'm not sure about some of the changes they're making. The real issue is that they’ve never really listened to feedback before. That’s why I’m not even going to bother installing the PTS to try things out-because they just don’t seem to care about what players have to say. It took so much noise and drama from the community just to get them to change the seasonal characters, and I’m not sure we have the energy to go through that again, like with Scorpio, for example. That shotgun didn’t need any changes at all, but they’re adjusting it anyway. The same goes for Ceska; reducing the critical chance from 10% to 6.5% is just frustrating... it’s a pain.
Pts always just seems to be for the content creators to hype the game up. It us not about health of the game.

If they are trying to make me quit the game they are definitely achieving that. They nerfed all the gear I use on the regular and then watching Yannick play today it didn’t look appealing at all with those modifiers. He was getting absolutely destroyed right out the gate. Look at how many medkits he had to use. My theory is that they are nerfing all the best gear because they want to make it harder for you to clear content and they probably noticed most people played the events and then hopped off the game until the next big event. This isn’t the solution though. We need brand new missions, modes and legendaries. The last real breath of fresh air this game got was countdown. I don’t know how much longer I can stick around when there are games like The First Descendant with fresh content and who has devs that actually listen to player’s feedback and improve. They need to fire some of this creative team for lack of creativity.

They tried to combat the power creep by introducing seasonal characters but the community complained. The developers listened and abandoned that idea, so instead they're nerfing the weapons.
Looks like they went for people who just go DPS , striker with shield running a St Elmo's/ouroboros. So about 90% of players. Fun times! Game will be more of a ghost town

After grinding and getting my watch up near 800, and getting the gear & weapons where i wanted them with work yet to be done. Nerf is not in my vocabulary at this point. I'll move on to other games.

With the state of Ubisoft at the moment I don't see it happening as planned. You'll have to wait for your blue haired, 350lb, androgynous agent that is sure to be into the new wokeified version of Division 3.

Just checked out the Trello board . Horrible nerfs . The stuff that got buffed I still won’t even play with . I’m over this game .

Heck they don;t even play the game, If they did they would see the bugs. They just rely on dummies like us.
They should do the buffs and don't do the nerfs. Then it would be great news, but yeah have fun losers.
The Scorpio is the worst. Basically it's useless. That shock effect would save my ass so often with a status build. Would change my entire play style. They also killed the Banshee SMG which I use for my DPS build. No way I want to invest time into changing my base play style again in a 5 year old game.

Y'all are overreacting to these nerfs. Striker with St. Elmo's is still gonna be the highest DPS option. Maybe look at the buffs to Heartbreaker, Eaglebearer, Big Horn, and the killer talent. You can finally try out different builds without thinking "it's good, but I could do more damage with striker"

Yes the rest of strikers and the chest piece perk are unchange only the backpack is getting nerf, and as usual people see strikers nerf and assume the worst, like they didn't read the pact notes themselves cause to me all is fine with the exception of elmo and the scorpio but I can see why they where nerf

The devs truly are intending to kill the game especially with these nerfs to weapons and etc! When helldivers nerfed there game the player numbers dropped tremendously, they was forced to put the stuff back people love! It’s time for the devs to be fired, hopefully they won’t be working on division 3 if so don’t buy

One of the most common high end Meta builds in the game is four piece Strikers, including backpack, one piece Ceska, and one piece Grupo with Obliterate on the chest, running Elmo's. Now every one of those pieces and/or talents has been nerfed into the ground, not happy.
I got my ouro not too long ago and start optimizing it. I feel like all the field data recon are dump into water now.
I’m expertise lvl 26 , most of my gear is at lvl 26 , st Elmo s , ouro , etc . Spent endless hours grinding for components, now they nerf everything. This is just ridiculous
Glad I never gave up on my personal Vector or the Dark Winter for the over hyped Ouroboros. You knew they were gonna dunk on that with a hard nerf once the stats were known. Or you should have known. I feel sorry for people that wasted their time earning that reward.

Stryker isn't even the strongest gearset...Way too many people sleeping on Umbra. I run Umbra on legendaries and PVP conflict/Darkzone and melt everything.
It’s about time we got our full auto LVOA-C back from Division 1. Sooo pleased 😊

Shame about the nerfs to meta’s, but may be players should have just accepted the seasonal characters and may be the meta’s wouldn’t have been touched🧐
No one should have accepted the seasonal characters at all. Seasonal characters and these nerfs are a way to control the way you play and progress in the season content. I mean we got Project Resolve, that added more bugs and issues than it was supposed to fix. When what we needed was fixes and new content. Theres no reason Division 1 had more content than Division 2. We had more Legendarys, more Incursions, Survival, Underground, huge DZ, and conflict was 12v12. We have 3 shoe boxes to fight in for DZ, large open world, sand storms in DC, 4v4 conflict, Summit which isn't rewarding now and an absolute slog fest, Countdown, and Descent of which absolutely nobody asked for.
