Initially G36, Police M4 and M1A (Bakers Dozen) but now the buffet is so full, there are dozens of contenders. Capacitor, St Elmo’s Engine, Scorpio, ACS/Rock and Roll, Famas - I’m gonna stop there because there are a ton of awesome weapons in this game. Depending on the build 😉
Phew. I’d forgotten the journey but to anyone out there who’s getting started - this guide as close to sprint as it gets. Or you work it out for yourself and you’ll still be learning in 5 years. That’s not a bad thing. That’s damn good value. This is the best channel for Division 2 content and I’m not getting paid to say that.
I am a destiny player and I thought that that was a little difficult to understand but this game literally blows that game out the water. I love this game, but it is so confusing and past level 40 and just starting to work on my watch I think I’m a level 14 and it’s a little overwhelming but I feel like I need to learn it by myself, but I still watch this videos. Amazing content Appreciate all the support you do.
Only made it to floor 7 but I'm getting there. The directives really reavelled how much I unnecessarily reload and just how much of a scrub casual player I am. I appreciate knowing this so I can get better.
I did basically this strategy after returning at shd 10ish. At shd under 40 I had a decent striker build, being able to solo control points on heroic with 4 directives. Oh well I only did summut so far, but the point us to go strategically and you have a decent build in no time or on the go.
Definitely feeling overwhelmed now that I've completed WoNY, but these videos really help. I feel I am nowhere near even tackling the Summit, or Descent or Countdown. For now I am just clearing out the Control Points, tackling bounties from Public Executions and clearing out those territory controlled areas. I ahave only 1 build so far, that being a +6 Skill Tier build with 4 Hana-U and 2 Empress International pieces, with lots of Skill Damage, Skill Duration & Skill Haste plus 2 mods for Protection from Elites on my gear. I use a sniper/shotgun combo and am working on levelling up the M700 to Rank 10 (already maxxed out the SR-1 and Designated Hitter, and need to add more to the list of proficient MR's). I have yet to add everything to my recalibration library and I am adding to it slowly and steadily. But with all the loot I already have in my stash (and only a few that I can utilize for the Library), shoudl I be deconstructing what doesn't go into the library for materials I'll need? If not, what should I do with these pieces of "junk"?! Thanks for this video, I may try some of this but currently struggling with low rolled gear and limited resources.
Just returning to the game since WONY released and so much changed and was overwhelming. This video (along with the others mentioned) will help get me back into the game to run all the heroic fun stuff.
Wow thanks for the video. I'm not following it to a tee but you offer some excellent advice on how to get a bunch of gear to sort through. I'm still getting a decent enough skills build to play (as you suggested) in the summit. I've got tons of striker gear and my stash is full. Now Im filling my library but I didn't get much gear with high attributes. Still nto bad for a few hours grind and I learned a bunch about how to actually make a build.
Coming back to the game after about 4 years. I have a lvl 40 so I appreciate this video, even if I didn't understand half of what you were talking about. lol
Returning player here to say thank you. Took just a bit over an hour to get through the 5 challenges for the summit but I ate breakfast halfway through XD. My builds are pretty staked still since I hopped right back into heroic and have been mopping up. I've basically just been pushing watch, finishing up my ivory keys, and running countdown. Same shit I needed to do when I stopped from just being a bit burnt out. Having a blast running solo
This is a top shelf video. Everything about it is phenomenal, from the quality of the content to the spectacular visuals, you are an artist. Thanks for sharing and planning out the next 3 hours for me.
First thanks for this. I have done the Skill Build, or a variation of it. (Not as good as the one you have ) It melts, I am still trying to tinker with some of the rolls but it shreds in Challenging and I was even able to keep up in Legendary. Though the group didn't finish, they gave up. I was holding my own. Much appreciated.
Took me 2h30 to get to 15th floor :D I didn't understand how chanllenge worked for the first 6 floors. I still need to watch this video multiples times to begenning to understand everything. So strange to have spend hundreds of hours when the game came out and feeling like a total noob 3 years later. My only problem is the "no deconstruct anything" because I'm using a secondary character and my stash is already full, so I don't really know what to do whith all I have
i'm just guessing but i'm seeing the stash full of junk as a ressource bag, whenever you need a certain thing, deconstruct unwanted gear. I'm new to TD2 so i rly don't know if its true
Returned to the game with a new character after being bored from Destiny 2, the whole journey has been insanely fun so far using this video as a guide. Cant wait to farm up & improve the builds and tackle the endgame. Thanks a ton!
I played division 1 and division 2 a lil when it first released returning to it now i am clueless.. for other nee returners im doing what he says in the video ill give my review once im done 😅
I did most of these steps, to the best of my understanding. When he describes the three new builds: Countdown, skill, and DPS. I started to scratch my head and was like do what now?
Countdown is a game mode you can run to farm equipment. Skills is a build where your skills does most of your damage and dps is a build where you shooting does most of your damage.
The build for countdown is important....it's where a new player spends a lot of time gathering gear to create and upgrade builds, gather credits for exotic caches to buy at the countdown vendor. Use summit skyscraper game mode to farm a starter build for countdown. Use Countdown to create and upgrade the 3 recommended builds.
Bro thank god your making a video for beginners, this is a good video good job for the video and ,its annoying when utubers are making beginner build with already momento backpack "im like wtf" 😂😂😂 high recommended video
I played so many looter shooter or just loot heavy games so far. My go to approach nowadays is just play the game. Sure I also look some things up but in general I dont care to much on meta tactics or meta builds anymore. Thats the way I get the most out of these games. Try things and do my own experiences.
Thanks, Tuxedo, for all of your informative & funny D2 videos. I always have issues sometimes with the "endgame" concept. It's like there should be a better word 😂 My question is, right after you say our primary objective is to boost your character to maximum heights, I would like to get a "why" right after that. What are we getting ready for? (big picture) Getting ready for PVP play? Future content? Just for the fun of looter shooter building? Seasonal play? Thanks!
I started like 2 months ago and the main thing I wish I didnt do was waste time on tinkering from 1-30. Once you get into the expansion this pretty much resets and you have to collect it all again. I can be neat to dabble if your playing through all the world tiers for your first time but I just wouldn't waste a bunch of items donating for stuff you know you wont use during the world tier clearing. As soon as you take the chopper to new york its all gone. Also its not bad to donate traits while leveling up but wait until 40 to donate stats because again you'll just waste more resourced re-donating.

i'm still to noob to understand most of this LOL. I just want to have more dmg and make sure i have a bigger magazine. Some of these weapons only have a 30 ammo clip lol. I'm only level 27
Thank you for a great video! I came here to say that guides on the same topic from Russian-speaking content makers begin with the phrase "take this set" or "this set is best for a beginner", etc. That is, they do NOT literally say what and how to do after level 40, where to press the buttons to make it fun :D It looks especially surreal when the video is called "what to do after level 40" where the person begins the story with the phrase "take this set and then literally something in Elvish for me"
What should i do with all my weapons that are under level 40. Sell them break down or what? I should say I'm really new to the division 2. Just got the game and got to level 40 after completing new York
You can sell them. But, if you watch last chapter, I recommend keeping them in stash for your Mule extra character. In this game, extra characters are vital. For stash space and resources and exotics. Your mule can use the old gear for currency or actually use it.
I feel like i need a vid to explain this vid lmao I'm lost, just started the game I'm like level 16. Guess this will become more understandable as i get further into the game?🤞
Sorry, but as a new player, I have to say that several times in this video I didn't understand what you were talking about due to the use of D2 gamer lingo. Has anyone experienced loss of audio, I recently lost audio to certain weapons firing.. just started playing, really enjoying the game, but don’t feel like playing w/o audio….
Im kind of confused with tinkering. If I have a maxed core with 170k armor. Is it a one time only use and I have to find severals or is a one time find and enjoy? Im so confused after hitting lvl 40 😅
basically maxed out stats that are good for the build. like an assault rifle that rolled with the highest possible ar damage, health damage, and crit chance or something
good guide but when it comes to the summit theres a little bit of missing info here. The way you word things it sounds like you do the challenges and can start over any time and still complete what you need for the capacitor. If you leave and restart it wipes your challenge progress though. was at 3/5 by 15th floor, started at floor one and lost my 3 already done challenges. So after losing 2 hours of progress I restarted and it took me another 2.5 to get 5 challenges done in 1 run. So after about 5 hours Im at your 1 hour mark for this guide. Not very new player friendly.
Was just about to comment this, I just did the exact thing you described and was confused. You also need to actively switch challenges; he does type it out on the screen but it certainly was confusing until a few hours ago.
In terms of that skill build with striker, I can’t seem to get skill cores when looting after a countdown run. They are all reds. Are they rare with yellow cores?
@@TuxedoBandidoah ok that makes sense. This it have to be skill damage or can it be other skill attributes? I have a god rolled status effect striker chest.
NOTE: DO NOT DECONSTRUCT ANYTHING (ESPECIALLY DOUBLE FULL STATS) PUT EVERYTHING TO CHEST AND FAVOURITE WHAT YOU DONT WANT TO LOSE Rough steps: Do summit: chosen loot (Eclipse) until you get Capacitor exotic Do summit for striker set. When you have striker set, keep farming Countdown on challenging for loot in this order: Striker Palisade (Some other company in the video at the beginning of the countdown section) And that's it. Keep farming Countdown and then tinker everything up to max and you are done
do what he says but just doing countdown.. the rest is too much work. Build striker and palisade just by running countdown, in less than 1 hour youre done and actually with damn good drops.

Im kind of confused with tinkering. If I have a maxed core with 170k armor. Is it a one time only use and I have to find severals or is a one time find and enjoy? Im so confused after hitting lvl 40 😅
this will help th-cam.com/video/SwsPp8O1PiU/w-d-xo.html
@@TuxedoBandido thanks!
When you say god roll items what does that mean ? What makes a weapon or armor god roll?
basically maxed out stats that are good for the build. like an assault rifle that rolled with the highest possible ar damage, health damage, and crit chance or something
I just became proficient with the Mosquito 🔫💪🏻 leaving only about half the skills to go. Everything else is Proficient 😊
good guide but when it comes to the summit theres a little bit of missing info here.
You add the yellow cores after the fact. So find some with crits or skill damage on it the tinker the core to yellow.
@@TuxedoBandidoah ok that makes sense. This it have to be skill damage or can it be other skill attributes? I have a god rolled status effect striker chest.
I’m confused you said 2 blue cores 4 red cores how do you have 6 skill tiers at the same time
There are three builds. The countdown build has red and blue cores. The skill build (#2) uses striker with 6 skill tiers.
Damn! The Summit with low ammo is hard! :-/
save god rolls for donation? okay cool, so how tf do i tell if something is a god roll
Same question lol
I'm confused af 😐
NOTE: DO NOT DECONSTRUCT ANYTHING (ESPECIALLY DOUBLE FULL STATS) PUT EVERYTHING TO CHEST AND FAVOURITE WHAT YOU DONT WANT TO LOSE
Rough steps:
Do summit: chosen loot (Eclipse) until you get Capacitor exotic
Do summit for striker set.
When you have striker set, keep farming Countdown on challenging for loot in this order:
Striker
Palisade
(Some other company in the video at the beginning of the countdown section)
And that's it. Keep farming Countdown and then tinker everything up to max and you are done
Your not alone 😢
Now imagine if the game wasn't as complicated with all the levels and rpg mechanics and instead ubisoft focused on the actual in game content 😢
How to targed loot in CD?
Go to the map menu and the option is there.
This was all over the place and not easy to follow.
Please the red text is blurry can't read. Please make it white.

Tito Fan.. 👍
Yeah I think I’m just gonna stop at 40. This isn’t worth it lol.
do what he says but just doing countdown.. the rest is too much work. Build striker and palisade just by running countdown, in less than 1 hour youre done and actually with damn good drops.
I'm New to this game can anyone help me?
Just Stop playing it
