It’s encouraging to hear your story and how well you are feeling. It’s uplifting for us all. Especially your faith. Giving God the glory is so important.     I appreciate you and your husband on here. You are doing great!!!
    I’ve been doing KetoVore since Jan 19 and now I’m doing BBBE combined with 18/6. Just started today and plan to do it until at least April 19 and see what I can accomplish.
    BTW, I’m a believer, too. I’m so thankful that God designed our bodies to ‘heal themselves’ with proper nutrition, rest, movement etc.

    I was just thinking what a blessing your recovery has been. Can you imagine what the situation would be with Eds accident if you were still sick. You have been nothing less than a rock star in taking over as his care giver.

    This is my story exactly! Now after 8 years of low carb I know what I can eat and stick to it bc as you mentioned the wrong food can trigger a flare up. It truly becomes a way of life bc you never want to feel so sick again!

    Thank you so much Paula for this video.... I've been dealing with lupus for the last couple of years after I almost died from covid in 2021... severe inflammation in my knees and back especially... I am a strong believer in the Lord Jesus as yourself and I just thank you for this pep talk today it's what I needed because I haven't been consistent and I'm very inspired now to do this thing and do it right❤ God bless you and thank you❤

    The angle of the video was great. Your head was not completely cut off. Enjoyed it very much. Those rolls looked a tad difficult to make but I will try to make them once I’m back on my feet because the sliders looked delicious!! I’m trying to get my husband on board and I know if I can offer rolls like that it will be much easier for meal preparation.

    It’s been 5 years since I started a Keto diet. I remember wishing I already knew all there was to know about it instead of trying to read and listen to everything I could find. Now I am pretty much carnivore. Like you, it takes trial and error and the learning never ends. Your channel makes this lifestyle easier, especially when I have absolutely nobody who gets it around me. I am borrowing your word, CONSISTENCY!

I have been lowcarb/keto/carnivore for over ten years and I am 74, never sick, except for my SIBO/leaky gut. I am making my L-Reuteri yogurt and using castor oil packs over my liver at night! I can’t tell you how much better I am and even sleeping so much better!! Thanks again for helping so many!!❤️

It’s so serious to have our healthy lifestyle when you are looking at such a short time left when we want to be at our healthiest and our kids in their 40s are doing the same which I’m so happy about and glad to be an example so they will be even healthier than we are!

    Paula I can relate to what you are saying about the foods we eat and the damage it can cause. I have RA and I hurt, especially when I eat all the wrong foods, dairy is so bad for me, but I love cheese, if I have it i already know I get inflammation in my fingers and hands. I have been doing Keto for 3 years and I lost 40 lbs. . But I have been sampling all the foods I eliminated when I started Keto. I have to get back on track for my health. Keto is the best diet ever, it’s the only one that works for me. Thank you for your videos and God bless you and your hubby Ed. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🥰

    AMEN AMEN AMEN. EVERYTHING YOU TALK ABOUT YOUR SYMPTOMS 54 years old and Amen to most of all your symptoms I HAVE
    PLUS the surgery on my hand thumb joint area. Have to take a piece of my vein in arm to make cushion to place between bones 🤦‍♀️ skin tags under breast few under arm
    Hormones menopause 🤦‍♀️

      I think it’s a process the old videos helped you take baby steps to a full step of where you are now. I believe your old videos keep it doable and it’s steps to even a better health journey as you learn the process 👍

    Paula, I found your channel a few weeks ago, probably because I follow Dr Ken Berry and Neishas channels. I had similar health issues as well.i had not been to the doctors to be diagnosed for anything. I had tried different diets I gained weight instead of loosing. At the time we had ,10 grandchildren when we had family gatherings I would cook and just make myself enjoy the time together ( our 3 children and their families live 1-5 hours away) after they would leave I would collapse from exhaustion. September 2020, I lost a friend due to COVID we both same age grandbabies, both had simular health issues she had all the braces for her hands knees ankles. I myself would have to go one step at a time. With so much joint pain to get out of bed I would have to hold the bed and wall because of the pain. When she passed I watched her grandbabies grieve for her at the grave side I realized then I needed help. Where she had so much pain in the joints and the extra weight she wasn't able to get up and move COVID didn't get her all the way blood clots did. The day after the funeral on a Sunday I was in so much pain I ask God to help me I would die if I ever got COVID because of the fact of not being able to move without so much pain. After my prayers. I went on FB to scroll Roger Raglin was telling of his weight lost journey I joined his program that morning, we have met Roger a few times at hunting shows he also has his own hunting channel. I started that day
    I lost 75lbs in 8 months. I noticed a big difference in my joints in about 1 month in 2 months I was able to start going up and down the stairs with no pain I was playing with the grandbabies with out someone helping me up. Then I found Dr Ken Berry and everything made perfect sense then. I think God for leading me in these 2 men's directions. I as well noticed one day that the tag moles under my neck were gone. However the facial hair i still have to deal with ugh. I have enjoyed your channel now I have made a connection I will follow more closely. Thanks for sharing your story.

    You are so right about being consistent! I cheated with gluten over the holidays and then on vacation. I have Hashimotos so my doctor said the cheating caused my thyroid to swell! It’s already improving after 10 days no gluten! I won’t do that again! 😩

    Great video Paula appreciate it so much. Yeah, I did good in the beginning in 2018. The inflammation and everything went away but now my hip on the right side is been bothering me. I’ve been going to physical therapy she’s very kind and very patient and I’m still eating the same way. I was watching some of Dr. Barry’s videos. Thank you, Paula.

    I was just told today that I tested positive for connective tissue disease, and I am wondering if this would help with symptoms of that. Have you heard of anyone addressing this condition with Keto? And by the way, I LOVE that you’re a believer. So am I💖 I see that you’re up north in the woods. Love that you have that peaceful place. I keep editing this to add things, but OMGOSH!!! My doctor ran the same blood test on me and I came back with the same results, same numbers!!! Praise God, I know I’m in the right place!

      You know what Paula, I did mention those seed oils, number one, because of just what you explained about your health, I thought, oh, she didn’t notice the seed oils, I hope that doesn’t cause her pain! Thats why I mentioned it, so you would be aware next time….NOT TO COME AFTER YOU, AT ALL!! It was taken completely wrong, so, I just stopped commenting, I never would want to cause a problem! You are teaching us and giving really good information that is completely appropriated, so, i’m so sorry I pointed that out! Next time i’ll just keep things to myself!

      I have connective tissue disorder and have been keto /low carb since 2019. I have eliminated my joint pain and body aches with keto.

    God does heal and shows us how to do it, he’s so good to us. If we seriously stop 🛑 pray 🙏 and ask God to help us he shows us the way.     Animal fat for sure! After looking into some things I found out about things like salicylates. It’s in a a lot of products and veggie’s and has components that are related to aspirin. A lot of people are sensitive to it and coconut oil is one of those products.your right…it takes time!!

    I have learned over the years that you may need to leave certain foods out for awhile, but once healed you need to add them back in or your body will always fight against them...just my experience.

    Thanks Paula! I’m wondering if the almond flour is causing the increased joint inflammation in my fingers. I’ve recently started using it. I’m going to cut it out and see if it makes a difference.

    Nobody can convince me that loads of saturated fat forever is healthy...there is too much research showing otherwise...its fine in certain meats...should never be added, we need to add healthy polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats.

    You always seem to forget to mention how great retiring from being a hairdresser has helped and those issues might have been from that? Resting a lot, not being around hair chemicals and on your feet all day, using your hands and wrists for repetitive motion and maybe even stress or dehydration headaches? You really should tout the benefits of a career change, resting, retiring, etc. can have on someone!! Not to mention hormonal changes that would have come and gone anyway due to menopausal age frame.

      Yea although I don’t do as much hair as I used to, I still have a clientele, still color/highlight their hair, I’ll probably have them forever lol, I am not completely retired. I’m also still in peri menopause according to my gynecologist. Food has healed me 💯 I stand by what I said. Also I’m on my feet 8-10 hours a day in the kitchen now, constantly working on recipes. Even though I share a lot on here, you don’t know everything about me. I’m not trying to fool people, I have talked about the benefits of not doing hair as much too. Have a blessed day

    It would be nice if it was that easy...keto does not work for everyone...i have autoimmune issues also. I eat healthy, exercise, but after a very high stressful life event i gained 30lbs and lost all my muscle...while working out daily!...Drs have been no help! My bidy was too stressed and keto and IF makes it worse
