@@koilamaoh4238 I don't think there are terrorists who are afraid of dying, which is the problem. They are so certain on doing something "good". Now with information security I think people need to teach kids how to deal with the internet and what recruiting might look like, wether it be a possible terrorist or a pedofile luring you in. Kids need to lean about what types of conversations are red flags. Because the police can't arrest people when they initiate conversations with possible terrorists and pedofiles. So in a way we are not doing much preventitively.

9:12 I once saw a Muslim couple in Chicago with two children. The wife was covered head-to-toe in a black niqab, while the husband was wearing Dockers shorts, a t-shirt, and ray-ban sunglasses. I have some Muslim friends who, in college, openly drank alcohol, smoked weed, watched pornography, had sexual relations outside of marriage, and often made fun of their own religion. Ironically, many still expect their significant others and wives to live an ultraconservative lifestyle!

To add to your point, anyone who counteracts this by saying it's culture not religion, nope it's both. The very fact that women are told to wear hijab and that their awrah is different from men is inequality. The BS reason they give for this is women are basically way too precious so they need to hide their beauty. All excuses to act possessive over women. @Kim Bel Your first comment is literally what I spoke of. Woman myself here, hijabis being modest is not my issue and yes it does not affect me. My problem is the different rules for men and women precisely and yes I criticise it in every society not just Islamic ones. Women have the absolute freedom to religiously or non religiously choose to wear modest clothing. I dress modestly myself. Let's not act like Muslim societies all over the world don't put more pressure about modesty upon women. Slight mistake by a hijabi and you crucify her. Muslim man and it's eh men are men. My point was not to tell women to show what they don't want to show, but calling upon men to do the same. I am calling out that the reason women were asked to cover more, which is to not attract men and protect their beauty. The sheer concept is archaic and puts the onus of attracting men on a woman's existence and body. Let's bring in the same rules for men. Then I'd say it's about modesty and not about controlling women. Again, I am not calling upon Muslim to expose themselves. I am asking for the same rules for men.

It is true that men and women are held to a different standard, and that is because whist all humans are equal, there are still fundamental things that differ us.
Men and women face different challenges, men can be more prone to arrogance (especially during the time before Islam) which is why men cannot wear jewellery (apart from 1 silver ring with a maximum of one stone), not allowed to wear silk, they are not advised to have thawbs (men wear) longer than their ankle (you know when you see monarchy and their robes would drag to the floor for example) this to avoid that opinion that you are better than someone else. -these are just a few examples.
Men still practise modesty by covering up from navel to knee.
Imagine that women’s rights only really came about in the west about 100 or so years ago, however Islam have been around hundreds of years and provided protection, security and rights that the women from the west was not able to have. The right to education for example (first university in the world was set up by a Muslim woman in Morocco), women have the rights to divorce, what ever money they have they have absolute choice to just spend it on their selves whist men have to use their money to provide for his family.
Unlike Christianity where “Eve” was told to have convinced Adam and herself to eat the fruit, and for hundreds of years women were blamed. This was never in the quarantine or any Islamic doctoring as they both made their their individually and no one was blamed.
There are many things that are misunderstood in Islam, but can be understood as long as you ask the right person as we know the media and internet in general is doing their best to show only the bad parts. (Reliable sources are so so so important in Islam, so when ever you ask anything always ask for evidence- please check all things I have mentioned, but of course it would be better to find reliable sources than just google.. so look at some books true quaranic verses)
Men are at the front of the mosque and women are the back because imagine seeing women bend over during prayer, it is unnecessary and can just be avoided by being at the back. Further more women’s places are smaller because genuinely less women come. Women generally prefer staying at home and listen to lectures at home, and that is absolutely fine. Whist men are highly encouraged to come to mosque. That is because imagine travelling back and forth 5 times a day to mosque to pray and having to stop everything you have to do each time, when you are absolutely fine to stay at home. (I hope that makes sense 🥲).
Whist I am not the most knowledgeable, I would be happy to answer any questions that I am sure the answer of!

“I'm not feeling well, I'm afraid” were Khadiza's last known words. She told that to her sister. She wanted to escape Syria and return to the UK, but knew that if she was caught trying to leave ISIS she would be beaten to death in public. Shortly after, all communications with her family suddenly stopped. She was killed in an airstrike that targeted the house she was in... She was 17 years old. She left London in February 2015, and by May 2016 she was already dead.
I can't imagine how her family felt after she left until they received the worst possible news. The stigma they probably live with and the pain of, at the end of the day, having lost a loved one whose body they will never be able to recover to give her a proper burial and mourn her.

Surely it's just an excuse, men and women should just control their feelings or libido or whatever. Classical music doesn't do that, it's not like rap or hip hop which can be quite sexual and uses bad language and is rude. The only reason why it's said to be bad is the same reason you want the women to wear the veil or the hajib, so the men don't need to 'control' their sexual urges!! But come on, you are an adult and you are meant to learn self control. You can just be good and not do anything bad. It's not music that's making you bad, it's because you choose to do something bad. You can choose to dislike something or not to do something but you can't force it on everyone.

I grew up with a conservative immigrant family and lost my mind as a teen. I could not imagine being in this culture. I know I would have ran away from home. If I could barely tolerate my culture (which had similar views, but due to PC culture spreading world wide, there was more pressure to not be strict in public), I would have screamed and cried myself to sleep even more in this one. Feel very sorry for any girls in that culture who feel, somehow, that they cannot fit in. Maybe for some, that pushes them over the edge.

The world boast about giving women right to choose how they dress and what they wear, yet victimize and punish us for doing just that. there are women who choose to wear the hijab and using feminism as a screen to oppress us and trying to force us to dress how its believed women should makes a lot of people no different from the Muslim men they say are oppressors.

British muslims do tend to be much more conservative than let's say the American ones. This is because British culture is overall very very private and very fragmented from community to community, boroughs to boroughs. That's why the ultra-conservative culture that they brought from Arab flourishes wonderfully. It is all kept behind the doors.
Meanwhile, the American culture is much more collectivist, more populist and more socially punishing than British. The social pressure for immigrants to americanize is really strong. As the underlying political culture of the States is the ideological war of liberal vs conservative, the immigrants have no choice other than joining those who are in favor of their interests i.e. liberals or those who share the same experience of oppression or minority-ness, i.e. feminists, religious minorities, and even LGBTQ people.

The social pressure for immigrants to Americanize is very strong because America is a nation of immigrants. Every "American" can trace their heritage back to another land ie Europe, Latin America, Carribean, Africa, China, Arabia, Indian sub continent etc and so anyone CAN "Americanize". In Europe it's a very different dynamic, the majority population of whites are not immigrants they are indigenous to this Continent (Europe) and individual countries (UK, France, Germany, Holland, Spain, Italy etc) and Muslims are always the outside/the immigrant population and cannot "Englishize" or "Germanize" or "Frenchize" as it's understood that a big part of this is to be white and the concept does not exist anyway. If a European moves to China they can never be Chinese or moves to Saudi, they can never be Arab they will always be European living in China/Saudi or wherever. Europe has millions of it's citizens that it cannot integrate in any meaningful way so chooses to ghettoize them and ignore them. Europe has always ghettoized it's minorities throughout its entire history so this is not new.

    • @fajarsetiawan8665
      @fajarsetiawan8665 4 ปีที่แล้ว

@P M they do play by the rule. But the thing is there's no such rule in the UK culture to "be a British". Actually, people don't care. There's no ban on certain cultural and religious thing. After the conflict with the Catholics, the Brits feel that tolerance to religious minorities is important. Hence As long as you are a good resident, pay the taxes and behave goodly, no problem at all. And so far the immigrants here are doing splendidly. It's not that British is not racist, it's just their culture is more private, keeping things for themselves, and indirect in communication as a form of politeness.

I was born to reform Judaism and have many religious friends (I still even celebrate some Jewish holidays culturally) , but I believe humanity should turn away from organized religions and all their bad and embrace personal connection to their religion. People must be free from being born to a certain religion, and these religions of oppression, not just of apostates and other religions, but of the thoughts of their own members.
