Muslim+afghan+pashtun here, you repeated a few lies that have been circulating in the internet. Social media and television aren't banned in the slightest in Afghanistan. There are bans on women's education (unfortunately) but not to the extent that you mentioned. 13 of the 34 provinces allow women to go to school and university, and almost 80% of private institutions allow women's education across the board; from the 1st grade up to masters degrees. Women can travel alone in Afg contradicting the notion that "women are banned from public places". Plus, persecution from the government is at an all time low, much lower than the previous "democracy". All in all, corruption and crimes have been reduced, and harmful drug trades disrupted.
Edit: I am not saying whether they are objectively good or bad; I am just making a comparison, and by comparison they are slightly better than the previous Afghan government.
Edit 2: Nursing students will be allowed into universities in the upcoming semester, and medical students the semester after that. Note that this is only for public universities. Private universities were open to women from the beginning.

Corrections: 1: The word Taliban comes from tālib, "student" in Arabic. 2: They weren’t simply displaced Afghans that were a part of it but also many numbers of Pakistanis that the US had originally recruited to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan. Thus eventually leading to Taliban groups within Pakistan. There are a lot more nuances to this that this video unfortunately was not able to cover.

The Taliban did not have "control" over the entire country by the late 1990s. The Northern Alliance, for example. was still battling the Taliban ( Somewhere between ~10 to 20%, depending on the source and the year in question, of Afghanistan territory was either contested or not in Taliban hands. ). It was Northern Alliance forces that helped make the invasion of 2001 an initial success. The large numbers of foreign ground troops arrived a bit later.
Foreign troops, indigenous personel, equipment, tactics etc. became more effective as the years went by helping (along with previous engagements etc.) to greatly reduce foreign casualties in Afghanistan during the last number of years before withdrawing.
Sunni branch of Islam is not one of the largest, but by far the largest group (~85-90%, depending on the source). The Shia branch is second. There are different schools, factions etc within each branch.
Most Muslims take the Koran literally. It is more a question of interpretation, practice, schools of thought, use or lack of use of supplemental texts (Hadith etc.), history etc that explains the divergent groups and ideas between and within Sunni and Shia.
    Etc.
One needs to remember to verify what is being stated.

Both isis nor Taliban represents sunni's, they claim to be sunni's but are actual followers of Wahabism(originated in 18th century), which is a religious reformation and not accepted majority (90-95)of Muslims world wide, only prevalent in Saudi and Qatar. Taliban follows a version of Deobandi Islam which was later reformed by wahabism.
