I think this still looks refreshingly modern and WAY nicer than the Ford Crapi 😮 I notice you did the Blue/Black Jeans and T-shirt, the same as last time, although you did say Twat less in this re-boot 🤓 Loved the Dad broadband comment 😂🙉🙈 My Dad railed against all computerisation, until he discovered an iPad / YT combo allowed him to watch plane / train engineering videos all day 😂 Happy Birthday TRDS 🎉 Still by FAR the the most talented, funny and informative TH-cam person….based in Dorking called Tim 🍻 I go NOWHERE else for a dose of toilet humour and ‘Your Mum’ jokes 👍🏻
Det har faktiskt inte blivit bättre, du är fortfarande skräp och ditt skägg har blivit grått. Åtminstone lite solbränna på huvudet. My mates got a Polestar 2 and everytime I get in it, I don't know how, it just feels special. Well built, cosseting and a nice place to be. Great as usual Tim 👍
Hahaha, that's a very good point. Won't someone think of Charlotte?! My Jazz is home to most of Dorking's spiders tbh. Thanks kindly young Mark. Now let me have a go in your 911...
Hey, great review, couple of corrections from a Polestar owner. Only that Standard 69kw battery charges at 150 DC but the larger 82kw cars like you tested charges at 200kw DC. Wireless charger and 360 cameras are standard for the MY24 cars. 😊
An excellent car. Best driving reasonably priced ev out there. Rear wheel drive is very efficient. And even better to drive than the older front wheel drive. Very good build quality.
New awd arriving next week in Midnight blue. Only allowed the Plus pack…not the pilot, which should be standard at this price point. Very excited to try the 200Kw charging rate…a lot less time at the chargers.
So I have the 2023 LRDM with the 78kWh battery. Over the last fsw weeks I've been getting nearly 4 miles per kWh on average. Drive with regen turned off. I love it
The new configurator for MY25 has divided the packs more, which is really good. The heatpump has it's own pack. The pilot pack right now is less important imo. So is the plus pack. I mean.. more choice = better if you ask me. They also slightly improved the car for MY25 and I believe certain stuff became standard equipment.
Great Review! just wanna confirm, do you know how long polestar is doing that promotion for the free plus pack? if you know any further info on that, please do send the link over, that'd be much appreciated. And, also did you try charging it on tesla supercharger? and do you know a way to find which tesla supercharger works for non tesla cars? Cheers
Great review 😃 I think there were a couple of things slightly off though. Max charging speed for the model you reviewed is 205kW and the useable battery capacity is 79kWh. Brilliant though, love the humour. Subscribing
Its not front engine rwd it rear engine rwd so the weight is over the wheels so no loss of traction to drift. Im glad you were able to get it lose tho!
“Worth it”: Really?! Awful packaging, drab looks, £60k! “Family holiday”. Really!: Rear seat room appalling, small boot, poor ride. This is not a practical family car. You know I’m a massive of the channel - but I don’t understand your enthusiasm for this boring, overpriced, somewhat not-fit-for-purpose car. And for from a company that is apparently losing unsustainably vast amounts of money.
For the performance pack, the least Polestar could have done was to add some aggressiveness to the front of the car. Like for example BMW did to their i3 s version
This charging rate issue is absolutely stupid. Nobody charges on a regular basis outside at a public charger. Most people who have EVS charge at home so this whole race for faster charging and bigger batteries is just nonsense
It's needed for the ones who don't only use cars back and fore from work a couple of miles per day, it's needed for the ones who travel long distances and would need to charge away from home.

Hugely enjoyable watch (you as much as the car!)....smiles per minute quotient very high and love the Mysterons reference
I am excited !
Finally a UK person I can understand. I thought we didn't learn English at school.
Greetings from Germany
Danke!
Frameless wing mirrors! Where are the spiders going to live? Superb review as always Tim.

Gonna go test drive one this weekend. As a fellow tall person I’m worried about the center console encroaching on my legs
Aw..we still love you Tim :)

Thank you for the correction! Hope you’re enjoying your one!
@@TimRodieDrivesStuff love it and love your videos, funny and interesting, I’m just a know it all 😂
Thanks for that Tim. One of your better ones...

Another amazing review. Best online for real world cars in my opinion. Also must be great to go and have a pint with, love the quirky humour
A modern incarnation of the Volvo S40! Great looking things
Made me howl watching this. Great review. How you don’t get a couple of hundred K+ views is beyond me. Keep the nonsense up.
Great humour and revitew

The tow hitch scene was hilarious 😂😂😅
The car bore in me got very excited when you said they made it Rear wheel drive.

That's good to hear! It's so very on brand for me to get the review up just as they change things :D

I'm basically number dyslexic so this wouldn't surprise me. Thank you for the kind words and correction (and sub!)
@@TimRodieDrivesStuff Now I feel guilty 😂 sorry! Keep at it. Only just discovered your channel but quite possibly my favourite already.
@@TimRodieDrivesStuff then you should probably spend some more time getting numbers right in your videos...
As a stock holder i LOVE these videos.

Great review, but the only thing that I like is the color.
Polestar 2 is almost perfect in terms of design. It looks absolutely lovely. Their other models on the other hand 🤮
Happy Channel Birthday Tim 🎂🍑🌽
Merci!
It’s Harman Kardon, not Hardon!
I find it hard to say it correctly nowadays
@@TimRodieDrivesStuff but you can say Carmen Hardon 🤣
Tim Rodie 4 years on as said by a "Swede": Turnip.
Center console is bad, needs redesign, your knees hit sides, it's just awful
Not if you're under 5'10" like me - plenty of legroom.
Swedish word: Wugahuftamuf
Harman Hardon 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Go and have a test drive in one then call it 'boring' 😂 Honestly it is a great car
@@welshravensfan5237 I’m more than prepared to believe it’s good to drive (except perhaps range) but, for me, it’s looks are just uninspiring
