  • We have been very impressed with the victory arrows. This video is a build using the regular rips as they come with stainless steal inserts. I also show the results after bareshaft tuning with these. I wanted to build a solid arrow that didn’t require buying extra components and these are priced well for what you are getting. The plan is to use these as an all around setup from TAC to the elk woods.
    RECIPE:
    Total weight: 464 grains
Vanes: 4 fletch Hybrid 26 2-3 degree left helical (bow clocks left)
Insert: Victory 60 grain stainless steel (happy with these so far)
    Wrap: none
    Nock: AAE IP

What fletching jig are you using and how do you like it? I’m about to spring for a bitz, but I’m unsure. I’m also using the same Victory arrows! Love them!

Awesome man!! I’m using the Last Chance VMP and really dig it but it’s pricey. Tim uses a Bohning Jig. If I didn’t want to go 4 fletch I would probably have gone with the Arizona EZ Fletch. I was never sure on bitz but Im sure those are solid too. You running 3 or 4 fletch? Agreed on the victory they are amazing. -Kyle

    What insert did you use?

Hello! I used the stock stainless steel 60 grain. I like that the rips come with stainless steel. For example the TKO come with aluminum. They are also really close in weight. They aren’t the prettiest inserts but have worked well for me. Hope that helps! -Kyle

Do the inserts fit flush or do the insert go over the arrow

They aren’t quite flush so can be a little annoying with bag targets. I’m totally fine with it though as they are very consistent from a weight standpoint and I like the 60 grain.
