That truck is awesome and that grille is just about perfect, I think it looks better than all the other F-150 trims and it looks better than some of the other trucks out there, this is coming from a GM fan.
average household income has only increased by around 20 some odd percent since the 90s, but prices on vehicles like this have more than doubled. Nice truck nonetheless

This one looks a lot better than the Lariat you reviewed. The sport package and 20" wheels look way better. Glad you reviewed this one. Makes the truck look much better overall than I originally thought. The 2021 is starting to grow on me. Will be a few years before I get the new design though because I just bought a 2019 STX 4x4 in that color.
You can get the sport package on the Lariat to, I have it on my 2016, with the grey the grill matches up with it, and I have 20" wheels, have looked at 2021 with the sport also, one thing I noticed the tires went from 275/50 20, to 275/60 20". BTW I think the STX grills looks the best in your model and the new ones.

Awesome review as always Joe!! I test drove a 2021 XLT with the 302A package and absolutely loved the ride. However, no heated steering wheel on a $50,000 truck?? That's a HUGE zonk for me!!! I couldn't believe it. You would assume that since it has heated seats the heated steering would be included, especially for the price....wrong!!! Other than that, Ford did amazing work on this new design. As you said...I prefer the F-150's interior setup than Ram's.
I have been driving this exact truck for a couple days, the only difference from this one is that the one I have is the 2.7, anyways, Coming from someone who a owns a 2018 xlt, THIS is the truck to choose, the color, the sport package and engine is absolutely perfect, I really would like the hybrid, but the 3.5 v6 is also good. So if anybody has an older xlt trust me, the update is really noticeable. The difference from the 2018 to this one is just so noticeable, it’s a great update
I've never owned any Ford product, but I ordered myself a loaded F150 XLT. Of course I probably won't get it for 5 or 6 months with the chip shortages, but I love this new design...looking forward to it.

does the XLt offer "keyless entry"? In other words, walk up, open door, get in, push button, drive away? Keeping the key in your pocket the entire time? What Ram calls "Enter n Go" but doesn't offer on the Big Horn.
I've remembered in 2010 the raptor was $45k, now 55 for an XLT. As of right now, there's no 10k rebates. It really has all features I want, 4x4, v8, LED headlights, push button start, rear locker. I just would not want to pay for such a big screen and those wheels fot to go, 17s with 35s is a must.

As much I love Ford top trim level trucks like the King Ranch,Platinum, & the Limited. I wouldn’t mind taking a XLT fully equipped with all the options, or even a Lariat full Equipped, it’s a great looking truck! doesn’t take much to please me..
It looks like the window sticker on the passenger door is just slightly crooked. Overall, a major improvement over the previous Ford vehicles so this earns a Kudos from me.

Finally a review of a Ford truck without the stupid turbo engines. I'm more of a bare bones kinda guy when it comes to trucks because I use them for what they are made for WORK. Do like this trim though. I might try this with one of those auto advantage programs and work those payments into a nice range for me. Awesome review.
I don't think Joe mentioned the fact the 2021 5.0L V8 now comes with ..... cyclinder deactivation. I know all ya'll really would like to hear more about this new feature.
One other thing about this new Gen 4 Coyote is Ford has dropped the chain drive on the oil pump for a belt. This is an internal belt so understand if you looking to keep this engine for a long time pulling the front of the motor off to change a belt will be an expensive repair/replacement expense.
Dude it’s a v8, huge truck with all kinds of tech plus storage. What were u expecting? The reason the older f150’s (not counting the king ranch) were cheap because they were 6cyl only.

When I bought my 2021 XLT 302A the dealer did not have a truck with the work surface option just like the truck in this video. Leads me to believe it might not be all that much of a hype. With that being said, if I was to have that option I would want my shifter on the column so it would be readily accessible at all times just not when the truck is in park. The drinks could be moved to the back of the counsel and still be well within reach. Wife could utilize that work surface on road trips while I drive. Just food for thought.

For the price you should get wireless charging, really it costs about $20 to add and they make it sound like a huge expensive feature. Also would like to see wireless apple car play/Android auto. Great video though Joe and Lori take care!

There is a lot to like here. I love my ‘20 F150 but this is tempting. It’s funny I thought the same thing about the new horn area of the steering wheel when I first saw it. The previous gen has a more modern look to the steering wheel.

Just so you know 275 is the tire height and 60 is the width. You read it like you would a 33x12.5R20, 33 is the height and it’s a 12.5 inch wide tire.

I think it's pretty bad they have wireless Android auto and Apple car play available, but no wireless charging until you go up to the Platinum.

Ram still has the best interior out there
