These trucks are starting to become more rare than ever right now here in Canada. I finally got my hands on a 2022 F-150 XLT in Carbonized Grey. I truly think this and Space White are the best colors that can be equipped with this certain package. This one is equipped with the 3.5L Ecoboost which produces 400Hp and 500lb-ft of torque mated to a 10-speed transmission.
This 2022 F-150 is truly I think the best truck for value that you can buy right now. Well this and the Lariat trim. Both trucks offer some amazing features and packages. If you like cloth, then the XLT is for you, if leather, then Lariat is your trim! Let me know what you think in the comments down below!

I’m watching this again and I can say after a full year owning 302 sport it is an awesome experience,Ford did great job….plus 5.0 is great and surprisingly good on gas
how good? what did you pay? looking at a 3.5L for 53k and a 50k V8

I also pre ordered this truck back in November. I ended up going with the black exterior and the 302A package. It is good to note though..you can get a XLT with leather for 2022. Ford is offering a black appearance package that allows for leather interior!!

I purchased the same truck but in white fx4, same specs I can’t complain, if you wanna add leather seats you can add it for $2000, which is manageable and you can choose different leather colors, Ford will take care of the installation.
I am here just pipe dreaming. I sold my truck to pay for my son's eye surgery. I am a Combat Disabled Veteran. It sucks being stuck at home. I would settle for a beat up 1980's F-150 just to have something I could use to take my son fishing.

I as well ordered the exact same truck in October, it is fully built waiting on a chip... expected delivery date 05/07/22.. after already pushing the date back probably 6 times by now

I just got a 2022 xlt 302A package but mine has chrome. Not a big fan of chrome but I love the sun roof and all the tech!! I have the 5.0

I have a 2022 f150 xlt with the 302A package and the 5.0! But I got the chrome which I’m still getting used to. I’ve only had it 45 days but I love it!! I’m not happy about having to use a app just to make a payment!! I’m not tech savvy
I have two f150's, 1997 & 2019. While installing a Roush CAI on the 19, it was still running when I popped the hood, I was surprised to see a "Hood Ajar" indication. With that said, WTF can't they put a "Tail Gate Ajar" or "Tail Gate Down" indication. I have tonneau covers on both and on more than a few occasions I left "contents" on the ground. I figure since they spent the time to let me know what's going on in front of me, how about letting me know what I can't see. Also, luv my engine compartment light on the 97.
I just got this truck last week. Brand new. 2022. But it has a small vibration when in “park” idle. Or when it’s idling. Not when in “drive” mode when in a red light. But if you park somewhere with engine on. Truck starts to vibrate and you can feel it inside cabin. Anybody feeling this on this new truck 3.5L 4X4 2022 model. I had a F150 2018 before and never felt this vibration when idling.

I believe both the DRL and the headlights on this truck are LED, not halogen. The halogen headlights are only offered on the XL, STX, and XLT base, and they don’t have the LED DRL.
Ya you're right! I said LED lights but sometimes when I see an orange marker light, my head automatically goes to thinking Halogen 😂
At that price, with tow package include clip on tow mirrors to be legal on the road.
I have the 2021 xlt with the FX4 and 302A package with the 5.0L engine. Not much good to have those extra features if the are unavailable 90% of the time.Every time i start my truck there is one thing or another unavailable whether it be the rear parking assist or forward collision warning and many more. Also gotta love driving on the highway and the forward collision warning activate with nothing around and locking up the brakes. I'm sick of everyday having to set the audio settings on my radio as well and having blue smoke come from the exhaust once or twice out of 10 starts. I have 15000kms on my truck and before the first oil change i had to add 2 quarts of oil as it was down and that was at 8200 kms and now I'm at 15000 kms and I'm down another quart.
You must have a lemon , it is not normal for such a new vehicle to be burning that much oil.
I have a 2021 XLT with 302A, 3.5L EcoBoost and max trailer tow package. At 14k miles, truck completely died and would not start. Was at dealer for over a month. They replaced PCM twice and spoke with Ford Techline several times and still won't start. I recently submitted a buyback request from Ford under lemon law. I don't have experience with their customer service pre-COVID but it's pretty much awful. My buyback specialist doesn't answer her phone or return my calls. Spoke to the dealer last week and they said for the first time in over 80 years in business, they have two lemons in the shop at the same time. The other vehicle is also a 2021 MY. My guess is they used some bad chips due to the shortage and tried to add too many new modules at once with all of the new Co-Pilot Assist 2.0 features added. My suggestion would be to take it into dealer and look up the lemon laws where you live to see what the requirements are. Where I live, dealer must make 4 attempts to repair the same problem OR vehicle must be in the shop for 30+ days and can't be repaired.
COVID Truck
FYI the fuel economy is no better really in the EcoBoost vs the 5.0 coyote. It's 1 MPG better on avg and the 5.0 is alot more fun to drive with way less problems
Since 2018 the 5.0 has way more problems than the 3.5 EB.
67k for a XLT???? Here in the States they are running low to mid 50’s! Almost 70 k is way too much! Could only imagine what the Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited are running 😯😯😯
Ya the trucks are getting expensive I do agree! I think for the price, you have to compare all the trucks with the same options to see what truck is giving you the most value for money. I always found Ford is more expensive in general though
67k cad converted to usd is 52k so ya....its priced the same as the us
This particular xlt has a few extra features. Step ladder in the back, full 360 camera, full middle console for a laptop just to name a few. Not all have these extra bells and is a tad cheaper

It's all relative. Canadians make more income on average, but our $ is worth less the US usually. We have all come to accept the price of a new car is always going to be higher, we dont lose sleep over it lol. BTW my own new in Jan 2023 2022 model Sport 302A with discount is $68905, equipped like the 1 in video less sroof and 360 Camera, less $32,000 trade for my 2018 XLT. It is what it is

This is the color I want or iconic silver. Can you still access the rear doors as long as u have the 🗝️ fob on you❓The 3½ liter motor is also the engine I want ✔️. The bed liner, isn't an option with the 302A package❓Ordering, a 22 F150 with the chip shortage going on. Would that be an issue. Or wait till another time would be best⁉️
I would get the factory order in as soon as possible, it's just a waiting game you'll play at this point. May take 3-6 months if you're ok with that. If not, you'll have to get a pre owned one
Can you install a 4WD auto in the xlt ?
Can you tell me in xlt model what package has the column shifter ...I saw this one in 2021 and has it and this one not ? And same package a302
For sure! The XLT 302a trim to get the column shifter is the XTR package

Pretty sure you still can. My 2018 XTR had the buckets with the console and a column shift, a real oddball bu I loved it. Going to be weird going with the console shift on my new 2022 coming next week
I love it i wanna get a xlt 4 door 4x4 but could i get a 6 1/2 foot box? Or the 4x4 only comes with the 5 1/2 disappointing im from canada ?

Some day Ford will realize that 60 percent of their buyers just want to take a hammer to the 12 inch screen and replace with knobs. I want to keep my 60k truck for 20 years and that screen will start to malfunction in year two.
