Just finished building the shed, Here are my comments: 1. watch this video 2. use the BILT app together with the paper manual 3. install the shelf (don't skip it) before the roof, it will show you if the shed is level, and most importantly, how much is the wall bending. This will affect the mounting of the roof (with the metal rails) later The rail holes do align with the roof panel. If you find them not align, something is off position. Great product, thanks Lifetime.
spent 1.5 hours reading entire assembly manual before starting project. spent one hour unpacking everything and checking against parts list to verify all was there. (it was). began assembly at noon, by 6pm all that was left to do was install the roof. Getting ready to complete the final steps shortly. I did not know this video existed! I had no problem understanding the instruction in the assembly manual. (I did watch the roof assembly portion of this video...no surprises there)
I couldn't have put the shed together without this video. He makes it look so easy. Couple of steps where out of place, no problem. Stripped a lot of screws, they sent some more. Hour long video, completed on day 5 (rain delay). 😁 Thank you for the support.
Oh my God thank you thank you thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial....The step-by-step is much easier to follow than the instructions believe me. Lifetime did their customers a wonderful service by putting this online
I greatly appreciate the instructional assembly video: thanks. I think the small Phillips screw fasteners are not a good fastener choice ( JIS, Torx, or Hex would be much better). Secondly, the push in ANCHOR PLUGS tend to spin in the socket if exposed to the sun on a hot day. This is my first attempt at assembly of a shed kit. It went fairly well, but I needed an extra hand at certain points of assembly. Again, great video.
Just built this over the weekend with my wife. Watched video along with paper instructions. Used impacts for everything to save time. It still took us 8 freakin hours to build. The small philips screws are made of butter and they don’t fit a #2 or 1 philips head very well. The small plastic oval things that they screw into like to turn while screwing which makes it a huge pain in the butt, have to stab it from the side to make it so they don’t spin. It turned out fine, but I honestly think I coulda bought a kit that includes the joints for 2x4, and got the plywood and built a full wood shed and painted it in less time than building this. Kinda regret not doing that looking back.
@@tarrabirdsell7695 8 hours watching the video and following paper instructions. Using impacts instead of manual tools. I’m very mechanical, work on my own cars, motorcycles, bikes, etc
@@KosmicHRTRacingTeam Whelp, I guess I won't get this done before the 5ft of snow hits Colorado in a day. Guess I'll try to shove it all in my storage unit.
I had the same problem, and this was a PIA to assemble. I am afraid this shed will not stand up to the Az. heat. If this does not work out, take it back to Costco, and build a metal shed. The metal crossbeam was off by a 1/2 inch, and is on a level base., so lets see if this comes together.
I just finished making a platform and putting this shed together. I want to stress that is very helpful having three people as opposed to just two. The fasteners are kept separate for each step in an individual, labeled bag which works nicely. If you have any confusion with the precise screw to use, just hold up your screw to the paper page; all fastener images are the actual size of the fastener itself. It took us about 2.5 hours to construct a wood platform and about 7 hours for three of us to put the shed together in its entirety.
Thank you for the video. It was very helpful. It took me and my 12 year old son a couple days to build. Patience is the key. As mentioned in previous comments, some of the plastic anchors took time and determination to get it to latch with the screw. We screwed some of them manually without the drill and that helped especially for the ones in the corner for the roof. Have fun building! It looks very nice when completed.
I think this video is great. It helped me on a few of the steps of assembly. The one thing I might point out is, when you are drilling into metal you should always use eye protection. Many years ago I was drilling into metal and some slivers got stuck in my eye, not fun.

Excellent video thank you very much Let me clarified something, if you don’t have patience, this doesn’t work, everything has to be in place and simple follow instructions
Be sure to start with a level and square platform, if you don't you can anticipate a difficult time with assembly. Unfortunately I speak from experience with this specific shed :-(
This video and the instruction booklet that accompanied the shed are some of the finest guides I've seen come with products requiring assembly. The written guide even shows what labeled parts bag you need for each section. The video follows that format as well, which was extremely helpful for references. All parts and hardware were clearly labeled. Maybe lifetime has started adding extra hardware, as I had a few screws.
A helpful pointer I learned the hard way... if your roof panels do not align properly, make sure the lip of the panels are IN THE CHANNEL of the RAILS! 😉
This shed looks awsome once it's assembled. Wish I would have found this video before I started the assembly. I read the guide cover to cover but was still confused about where to place some of those black plastic scew anchors. Also, some of the anchors did not fit snug in their slots and when I tried to secure the screw, the anchor spun around and refused to hold. We ended up placing tape under the anchor to stabilize it when we secured the screws.
I open the screw anchors with a flat screw driver. Yes indeed they will just spin and couldn't secure the items with them just spinning. I put the end of the flat screw driver in the middle and pried it open so when you put in place they would fit snugged wouldn't spin. That is not mentioned in the instruction manual and would of save me lots of time if they would of.
Same problem with the screw anchors spinning when trying to get the screw in. I used hot glue on anchor to hold it while screwing. Also very confusing on screw anchor placement on roof panels, it would have helpful to eithier have them pre-assembled at factory, or at least color coded. Over all nice shed.
I had the same problem with the anchors spinning so I tried drilling a few out by holding it in a vice grips and using a slightly larger drill bit than the one provided. That worked.
This is a great video. The assembly would have taken much longer if I only used the instruction manual. Our Lifetime shed is perfect for our backyard tools, toys and other stuff. Five stars!!!
Purchased the shed at Cosco and began to assemble today. I am very glad that I found this video, as it really makes the process easier. I got about halfway way done and decided to finish tomorrow. I hope I can find someone to help, but its going to be tough as we are going thru these second wave of Covid. Thank you for the video ! It it proving to be VERY helpful.

My notched hinge tubes were unnotched making it way more fun first figuring out what the notches were for and quadruple checking I wasn't just missing something, then determining what size they should be, and finally cutting them with a cutoff wheel. Lifetime, if you monitor these comments. Like many others, for me the screw anchor placement on the roof panels was confusing. I replied to one comment and suggested factory pre-assembled or color coding them. Actually the easiest solution would be to just provide enough screw anchors so that the customer could just fill in all the spots for anchors completely on each panel, even though some of those anchors wouldn't get a screw in anyway. Makes it simple. Fairly cheap only a few extra anchors required.
Agreed! Pre-installed screw anchors on the roof panels (so they don't fall out due to a defective space for it) would have saved a LOT of confusion. #LifetimeProducts
@@AngelaCampos6179 I'm scratching my head on this one because I literally just finished putting it together a few minutes ago. The printed instructions show you exactly where to put the roof anchors in. One step shows where the anchors go for piece 1, another step shows you were to put the anchors for pieces 2 and 3, and another step for piece 4. I literally took the instruction manual and laid it onto each roof piece and followed along with what was printed. Super easy and no mess ups.
I'd have to agree. Pre fill the things in or give enough for every hole. Very frustrating part is the roof anchors. If not for that I'd have had it done in 6 hours with one friend. Now we stopped for the night and I'm still short anchors somehow and roof not on yet.
Perfect video...except for one glaring oversight. A short closeup of each fastener used for each step would have saved me from having to make a lot of guesses on what fasteners to use, As a result, I made a lot of fastener mistakes. Maybe you can edit the video and insert a closeup picture of each fastener at points where they are most needed. That would make the video perfect all around.
I think the point is that you're supposed to use the video as a guide, but refer to the instruction manual for the exact hardware needed. I watched the video to get a general idea of how to put it together but after that I went outside and put it together based purely off the printed instructions and didn't have any issues with mixing up the hardware.
Great video. Wish I would've watched it before buying. They don't tell you it's 2 boxes at Costco! Took me a while to figure out why I was missing so many damn parts.
I Liked the video, It is all standard parts except type screws that attaches to roof from inside(black flat head) shallow opening and easy strips plus plastic Anker moves spins in hole

My observations: Nowhere in the manual or the video does it mention the approximate time it may take for the average 2-person team to build this shed. (Average meaning we have some understanding of construction.) Packing the boxes with the parts that will be used - in the order that they're needed - rather than dividing them so they pack in two equal-sized boxes would have made the parts identification and the assembly go much more smoothly. I get the pre-assembly of some parts, but there is too much of that initially, especially when the pieces are in 2 different boxes hidden among roof and wall panels (I know, best practice for conserving the packaging needed). Screw anchors need to be built in on the roof panels, transom frame, and wherever the shelf can be installed to avoid spinning and/or falling out. We had a few slots that were defective so the anchor wouldn't go in all the way. The bottom bracket to the vertical beams should not be screwed down to the floor until after the roof panels are fully installed. Someone else has already said this: This product should have a solid metal frame that the plastic exterior connects to versus the other way around. Corners need metal support to keep stable the overall alignment. In my opinion, two more beam assemblies (3 total - front, center, rear) would have made the entire shed go together much easier and be a lot more stable. #LifetimeProducts
Warning before you purchase! Make sure you are mechanical incline person with allot of patience, because if your not you are going to be expose to a rude awakening. The robots must of practice on several sheds to get this right the first time. Schematics are difficult for a person that has a difficult time to put a piece of furniture together. You need a good size work bench and take inventory of all your parts before you get started , if not you will get to the final steps and realize that the package was shorten parts, you need to finish this task. I had to get more hardware at my local ACE to complete this shed. Today I finally finish to put this shed together and it took 3 days. I notice they where several gaps when I completed this task. I engineered my own method to tighten these open gaps and it worked perfectly , especially above the doors on the outside corners. So good luck and have lots of patience and time when building this shed, and yes I did it all by my self.
Quick question what did u do fix the gaps above the doors I have the same issue. Also did u have little gap where the gable meets the front window piece corner. Thanks
Wish I had found this video prior to assembling my shed today. Either way, came here to see step 12 specifically, however you did not show how it’s suppose to be done. How can we slide the shims underneath the door hinge once we get to this step with everything built and so heavy? There’s no way to “slide” the shims underneath without lifting up the shed. It’s also impossible to stick your fingers underneath to be able to lift the shed once fully assembled. With that said, how can we straighten out or align our crooked doors (both doors) that sag when opening or closing? Everything else fits perfect except the most critical component for using this shed: the doors.

Better grab some ratchet straps and get creative to manipulate the top edges of the shed walls in place while trying to mount the roof panels. Otherwise the outer walls line up just fine with the screw holes for the roof, but not the metal trusses. Ratchet straps for the win folks.
The lower roof panels (AGQ) are the longer roof panels. There should be 4 of these. The upper roof panels (CVC) are the shorter roof panel. There are also 4 of these. The 4 roof panels are physically all the same. What determines their position is where you snap in the anchors. The instruction manual is very good and shows you where to put the anchors in for piece 1, 2, 3, and 4.
@Heisen berg They really should just prefilled every hole with an anchor or at least the ones needed or give more in the bag. Still can't figure out where I'm missing anchors at and that step was a pain trying to squint and read every location that needs an anchor.
Have had this package sitting under a tarp for over 3 months in the backyard. Going to tackle it tomorrow. How long do you think this is to install. I see the video is only 1hr long so I would assume around 2-3hrs for a standard DIY'er?
@@TheMakeupbyalexia I would be very wary, screws are short, anchors spin in the hole, so you have to get a screwdriver to hold them. I would suggest a metal shed, or if you can afford, wood shed. I had to buy cause wife wanted it, and I wanted a metal shed, but as always, avoid one headache for another. Also the poles, and metal supports, do not have identifying letters, to make sure you have the right one for install, just the box is labeled, but all the metal is jumbled into 2 boxes. So you need to follow the video, and compare pictures. I also had to use the" Bil"t app. and took my time.

I built my shed on a wooden platform. I have had major issues installing the roof panels. The holes did not line up properly on the trusses, I think because my platform is not completely level. I believe I need to re level the platform and redo the roof, would you agree?

Manual plus video is the way to go. I was missing a few parts, but they were door latches - they are in the mail. Shed for the most part went together ok. Some of the anchors stripped immediately. The manual has some errors - such as saying there are two shelf bars but there is only one. The shelf isn't an exact fit.

No. We recommend building and keeping the shed on a wooden or concrete foundation that is completely leveled. We only recommend a foundation built from outdoor rated wood or concrete. The foundation size for this particular needs to be at least, 91 1/4" x 91 1/4" (231,8 x 231,8 cm). This information can be found on page 7-10 on your instruction manual.
This was the most difficult part of the project for me. Some of the screw anchors snapped in many of them did not so I had to glue them in so they would not fall out when I placed the roof panels on the shed. Many of the anchor screws would not stay in place when I started drilling the screws in. The anchors just spun around in the hole. I used and needle nose and also a screw drive to hold in place while I drilled in the screws. It was terrible. The only thing I notice that worked was to put upward pressure on the drill while inserting the screw. I had to do about 15 of those anchors by hand. I would not recommend this product because of that issue. It added about 3 hours more just to work the 15 defected anchor screw installations.
The easy way to insert the screw anchors is to pre-tread the holes. This can be done by jamming a flat blade screwdriver between the anchors and the panel to prevent them from turning and run the screws in and out of each anchor with a power driver to precut the threads and spread the anchors. While assembling, it is better to start the screws in the anchors with a hand screwdriver then use a power driver.
On each side of our videos there is the list of the hardware you'd be using to help make the assembly easier. You can also match the hardware to the picture of your instruction manual, if you put it right on top it should be the same size of the actual hardware.

Well, the shed is finally up and this video definitely made it easier. However, make sure that you inventory every part before you begin!! Instead of a Left/Right door...some clown at Lifetime packaged (2) Left Doors instead! So I had to make a special trip...mid project...back to Costco (2hr drive) to demand this missing part and luckily Costco gave me a Right door from another boxed set. One tip for Step 9.8 is file the burrs off the edges of the metal hinge poles to help make it easier to insert into the plastic hinge caps. If not, the metal burrs will damage the plastic hinge caps making it difficult to insert. The parts are made in China so donʻt expect everything to line up perfectly. Just make sure your foundation base is level, have a helper and be patient through the whole process. A few beers in the process wonʻt hurt either. All in all...a great shed with a modern aesthetic.
I am sold on this shed, like how it's extra reinforced inside the walls/etc. Where can I buy this? Can't find it at any costco in Fl. Please help where to purchase... Thanks Dave
This shed looks awesome. Is there any way we can retrofit this to be a Roll off observatory for my telescope? Is that something you guys do for a custom order?
AIW is you use it in between the wall panel and mallet so you don't cause damage to the panel when sliding it into place. You don't see it done in the video because John was more comfortable kicking it in with his foot, but it the AIW is highly recommend in use when you're completing this step. You can see AIW being used in Section 7 Step 7.7.
Can the roof of the shed be installed with it angled downward? My shed placement would require the roof to slant from the back down towards the front doors.

Re 10.14 , make sure you have the 3 tresses pointed in the correct direction. The end with the extension should be above the doors. Also, is your platform level and square? We spent the better part of a day prepping the platform, so all the pieces fit with minimal effort.

Maybe they've updated the shed, but I just put this thing together with my girlfriend and it took us less than 5 hours to get it up. We started at 2pm and were done around 6:45 pm. I did watch the video the whole way through before I started, so I guess if you add that time, then the total came to about 5 1/2 hours.
Since this video is filmed in a studio, we do not have the proper foundation to anchor the system which is why it is not shown but is talked about. The anchoring process can be found in the instruction manual.
@@LifetimeProductsAssembly Perfectly understandable that you would have one inside a studio but it is equally important that you have 2 completed sheds outside so that you can show the anchoring to a wood and a concrete foundation.
Costco on sale but I think they discontinued because the product is not listed on the Lifetime Product web site. Probably because of the poor quality and problems with installation. We purchased this shed because of the modern style and one hour video. Thank God for the video. It was great.
@@elisabethadams8207 haha, lucky you that you found this video. My brother and I put this shed up May 6 and I JUST found this video tonight! One thing I noticed was the video said to install the the corner roof bars before you put the roof up. We slid them in after we began securing the roof.
Unbelievable, I purchased this shed from Costco and it’s missing parts and the manual. You guys got no quality control on your products or what. I just now send you a direct email asking you to ship me the parts and the manual. This is really very sad state of affairs you guys sold sealed boxes with missing parts. @@KosmicHRTRacingTeam sorry, I should explain... had 1guy helping and then 2 more then the walls went up because the wind was blowing.... the hardest part was installing the roof, it’s held in by plastic snap in grommets that would spin when using a screwdriver, used a 3 foot screw driver to wedge it in and hold it while I tightened it up. 2) Is this shed made in China (Y/N)?
Is the manual online?

Just finished building the shed, Here are my comments:
1. watch this video
2. use the BILT app together with the paper manual
3. install the shelf (don't skip it) before the roof, it will show you if the shed is level, and most importantly, how much is the wall bending. This will affect the mounting of the roof (with the metal rails) later
The rail holes do align with the roof panel.
(I did watch the roof assembly portion of this video...no surprises there)
Thank you so much for making this video!!!! I was able to build in a day and a half by my self.. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
How long did it take the two of you to assemble
Yo, this hard asf to make, this foo makes it look easy

Excellent video thank you very much
Let me clarified something, if you don’t have patience, this doesn’t work, everything has to be in place and simple follow instructions
So glad this is here, just picked up one of these sheds today.
Be sure to start with a level and square platform, if you don't you can anticipate a difficult time with assembly. Unfortunately I speak from experience with this specific shed :-(
I am using this video along with the manual to assemble this shed. We should be done putting the roof on tomorrow. Thank you!
I put a small piece of tape to hold the anchors in but some would still spin and I used a small screwdriver to hold them until the screw got started.
Agree! Crap! Has to be a better way
I had the same problem with the anchors spinning so I tried drilling a few out by holding it in a vice grips and using a slightly larger drill bit than the one provided. That worked.
This is a great video. The assembly would have taken much longer if I only used the instruction manual. Our Lifetime shed is perfect for our backyard tools, toys and other stuff. Five stars!!!
Hi! Is it still holding up well? Sturdy? Any problems? Thank you
Between the instruction book (Bible) and the video I was able to do in 2 days.😐 But this video did help.
Purchased the shed at Cosco and began to assemble today. I am very glad that I found this video, as it really makes the process easier. I got about halfway way done and decided to finish tomorrow. Thank you so much!!! We couldn’t of done this without you!!
Same here “attach it with the hardware” is the worst part about this video. Still was able to put this up in a day, but man could have been easier
I think the point is that you're supposed to use the video as a guide, but refer to the instruction manual for the exact hardware needed. I watched the video to get a general idea of how to put it together but after that I went outside and put it together based purely off the printed instructions and didn't have any issues with mixing up the hardware.
Installed two of the sheds. first one took me two days to build.. second one took me less than an afternoon.
I put one together today it was a nice challenge but I got it done ✅
Great video. Wish I would've watched it before buying. They don't tell you it's 2 boxes at Costco! Took me a while to figure out why I was missing so many damn parts.
the boxes say box 1 of 2 and box 2 of 2.....think you're gonna have to hold yourself accountable here and not costco
Yes I bought one today ,but not metal piece was caming
I Liked the video, It is all standard parts except type screws that attaches to roof from inside(black flat head) shallow opening and easy strips plus plastic Anker moves spins in hole

My observations:
Nowhere in the manual or the video does it mention the approximate time it may take for the average 2-person team to build this shed. (Average meaning we have some understanding of construction.)
Packing the boxes with the parts that will be used - in the order that they're needed - rather than dividing them so they pack in two equal-sized boxes would have made the parts identification and the assembly go much more smoothly.

This seems to be broken as I can't give 100 thumbs up!
Better grab some ratchet straps and get creative to manipulate the top edges of the shed walls in place while trying to mount the roof panels. Otherwise the outer walls line up just fine with the screw holes for the roof, but not the metal trusses. Ratchet straps for the win folks.
i need some more screws for the roof. How do you work out where to position each roof panel as they all look the same?
The lower roof panels (AGQ) are the longer roof panels. There should be 4 of these. The upper roof panels (CVC) are the shorter roof panel. There are also 4 of these. All the roof panels are interchangeable so you wouldn't have to worry where to position which panel. You can order more screws through customer service. They can be reached at 800-225-3865 or by email at customercare@lifetime.com. Customer Service hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm (MT).
Thanks!! 1:27
Have had this package sitting under a tarp for over 3 months in the backyard. Going to tackle it tomorrow. How long do you think this is to install. I see the video is only 1hr long so I would assume around 2-3hrs for a standard DIY'er?
This is hard to say because it all depends on you and the people you have to help. I would plan about a day to build or even less.
Did you end up liking the shed?? Debating on buying it
@@TheMakeupbyalexia I would be very wary, screws are short, anchors spin in the hole, so you have to get a screwdriver to hold them.

Currently building this shed and having a hard time with the screw anchors on the roof. Anyone have some tips to keep them from spinning?

@@LifetimeProductsAssemblythanks I called a little after you guys went home for the night but no worries I got it figured out. I bought a tube of liquid nails and put a little of that in each of the slots prior to popping in the anchors. IDK what your suggestion would have been but this part isn't the best design of an otherwise awesome shed. Perhaps your team can share of video of how to get this done or come up with a better design for the anchors.
Mine spun too. Seems like if it is that weak it may fly away in the wind.
Now you know why there able to sell for less. Because you basically do everything it’s a hassle but looks good when completed.
How do you not strip the screws? They’re so difficult to screw in
Take the drill bit and make hee hole bigger. Also use a large flathead screw driver to keep anchors from moving.
Can you reverse the roof pitch on this shed where the door would be in the back? Do you have a similar shed with a pitch that goes in the opposite direction?
We have not tested this shed to be assembled that way or have a shed in that particular design.
@@LifetimeProductsAssembly I am wanting to put the shed in a patio up against the house and just need the rain directed away from the house. This design would force the rain toward the house.
Having just put this together, you can't reverse the pitch of the roof.

I just purchased the shed from Costco. The box states it is 93.3 inches tall. I want to assemble below a deck the has around 94 inches of clearance. Will there be enough room to assemble correctly? Thanks
No. We recommend building and keeping the shed on a wooden or concrete foundation that is completely leveled. The foundation will add some height to the overall height of the shed so it will be difficult to assemble the roof when you get to that part. If you have additional questions you can always reach out to our customer service experts. They can be reached at 800-225-3865 or by email at customercare@lifetime.com. Is this the same as the Lifetime Products Shed 190228 (7.5x7.5)? From Costco in 2021? If so, is the footprint 8x8 or 7.5x7.5? Thanks,
Yes it is! Originally the dimensions were 7.5’ x 7.5’ which is why Costco has those dimensions, but before launch it has been updated to 8.3’ x 8.3’ and Costco has not changed it on their website yet but are hopeful it will be updated soon!
Im having an issue with the doors hinges. They seem to drop and the doors rub on the platform. Is there a way I can keep them from hitting? Thanks.

@@LifetimeProductsAssembly I will give that a try. Is there any extra bracing that you have for this shed, like your weather kit 60011?
Can you put this right on a stone base? Does it need to be on 4×4
We only recommend a foundation built from outdoor rated wood or concrete. The foundation size for this particular needs to be at least, 91 1/4" x 91 1/4" (231,8 x 231,8 cm). This information can be found on page 7-10 on your instruction manual.
what's the trick inserting the screw anchors? they do not seem to want to stay in...
Get a flat screw driver and pry them open from the middle enough so that they don't break and it should fit snugged with out spinning.
All of the anchors I had to pre thread each one so they wouldn’t spin. Made it so much easier.
Yeah this is the only problem I ram into definitely going to try the suggestions tho
It would be helpful if you laid out all the screws and showed which you are using for each section.
On each side of our videos there is the list of the hardware you'd be using to help make the assembly easier. You can also match the hardware to the picture of your instruction manual, if you put it right on top it should be the same size of the actual hardware.
Anyone know the door opening height?
The door opening dimensions are 58.5" x 74.5".
Does anyone have information about Anchoring? I have concrete platform, but I don't know where and when install the anchors

Hi what is the weight of the two boxes please?

This shed is found at Costco!
This shed looks awesome. Is there any way we can retrofit this to be a Roll off observatory for my telescope? Is that something you guys do for a custom order?
Can this tutorial apply to the Costco 7.5x7.5 shed version?
If you are referring to the Modern Shed, then yes. Otherwise if it's any other 7.5' x 7.5 it would not be compatible.
what is part AIW used for? Left over part and manual and video don't explain it...?
AIW is you use it in between the wall panel and mallet so you don't cause damage to the panel when sliding it into place. You don't see it done in the video because John was more comfortable kicking it in with his foot, but it the AIW is highly recommend in use when you're completing this step. You can see AIW being used in Section 7 Step 7.7.

I’m on 10.14 and it’s not lining up properly. The back two and all the ones on the outer side to but the ones on the beam don’t, I have no clue why and I’m genuinely perplexed and stumped.
Me too, I had to remove the support so I could align the holes up. I have to call and hopefully get some help I can't finish the roof because none of the holes line up! I'm not a happy camper!!!
What did you finally do to them to line up???
Re 10.14 , make sure you have the 3 tresses pointed in the correct direction. The end with the extension should be above the doors. Also, is your platform level and square? We spent the better part of a day prepping the platform, so all the pieces fit with minimal effort.
pamela kovacich I just forced it to line up with a screwdriver, I did everything right start to finish.
I had the same issue of hole alignment. I ended up drilling new holes. The anchors were really confusing to where to put in. They kept spinning and falling out. Lucky I bought that flex seal tape at Costco with the shed sealed the seams with it. The shed was a pain in the butt.
Do I really need to have a platform for the shed or can I just build it right on my grass
Possibly. I built ours on dirt/sand that I leveled. It went fairly well but some roof holes didn't line up well and not sure why.
Yes, a properly level foundation is required for this shed and all our sheds. Failure to do so can cause damage and the shed will not build properly with out it.

@@shotgunacemunda4987 Gravel is not recommended for the foundation because you will have problems with assembly. However, if you decide to go this route anyways, the shed has to be on the leveled wooden platform. If you fail to do this, you will have problems with assembly and alignment.
As for the size of the wooden platform, you will need to build a level platform of, at least, 91 1/4" x 91 1/4" (231,8 x 231,8 cm). This can be found on section 1.2 in your manual. Misleading video in that you make it look so easy. You must have had a whole crew digging out plastic from inside some of the pieces, and prepping everything for you. Making this shed is one of the most difficult things you will ever do, unless you are a professional carpenter or some other construction professional.
If anchoring your shed is so important why is where no video on that?
Since this video is filmed in a studio, we do not have the proper foundation to anchor the system which is why it is not shown but is talked about. The anchoring process can be found in the instruction manual.
