Overall a very good shed. It would have helped greatly if the many different metal parts were labeled. The parts diagrams in the manual were often too small to be of use in deciding how to do the assembly. The wall panels did have molded in part numbers but they were at the very bottom an inch from the edge. I fixed this with a felt pen and some masking tape but it should have been done by the manufacturer. Fortunately I chose to do the shed assembly myself and was not paying a couple of guys for extra time spent as a result of these deficiencies in the manual and in the video. Even if you are having someone else assemble the shed I highly recommend taking everything out of the two large shipping boxes and labeling parts and staging everything in advance. The video cautions about overly tightening the small nuts and screws but shows a cordless drill being used. Even on the lowest torque setting and slowest speed of my cordless drill I snapped one of the screws used for the bracing. Best to tighten these very small screws by hand.
It doesn't go together as easily as the video shows at least here in Florida. The heat warps the panels and they become too hot to handle without gloves. We had to borrow the motto: Improvise, Adapt, and Overcome. It took two days to get it finished
I was doing fine until the end...the last couple of roof panels were not lining up. I think the cement pad was not completely level. I ended up using racheting straps across the top from one side to the other...in order to pull the two sides together. It worked. Thank goodness. I then braced the entire thing for $30...instead of spending $400 on the extreme weather kit.
For the walls I had to pre-screw the divots otherwise they would not dig into the second panel and have someone on the other side pushing back. Also, blocking the floor was a must.
Let me see the unedited version of this video lol. No way it’s struggle free. P.S. for every minute of this video it will take you at least half an hour.
ok my issue rn is im putting together the floor but its a newer one so the floor is a lil dif and it says each panel should have 6 divets to insurt the screws but mine on has 4?? and the floor boards wont line up nicely no matter how hard i push them together either the quality got worse or im dumb
Exactly the sam me for me!! I’ve spent over an hour on this step and the floor is trash - the old way in the video looks great! The four tab”improvement” DOES NOT WORK. I’m worried it won’t go together in future steps
Ditto here as well. Only 4 screw divots and a dozen black screws left over. Could NOT get the floor panels to lie flush to each other - had to force them and secure with screws.
This video isn’t accurate needs to show one being out together that has issues like things not lining up properly and what to do in case of these issues
I cannot for the life of me get the last roof panel to line up. Either the left side is off or the right side. And forget about the final 2 corner screws. Can’t get either to line up. Checked the walls and everything is properly locked in. Don’t know what I’m doing wrong

Hey do you mind sharing what did you end up doing about your roof situation? I paid someone to build the shed yesterday and we had the exact same problem. Now the shed is not finished and I don’t know what I’m going to do…
@@Chxrri-7 the key is the black trusse. Making sure not too much is hanging over either side of the the shed. While inside, push it upwards and it’ll move to properly align with screw holes. Then you should be able to slide the roofing in where the corner holes will align. Also have second push on outside where you are drilling up to to make sure it’s catching the roof with the screw. Took us some giggling but it ended up seamless
Most of the time, the bag is labeled. Sometimes the smaller hardware bag is not labeled because it's in a larger, labeled, hardware bag. If you're having a hard time figuring out which screw is the right one, you can match it up to the picture in the manual. The images of the hardware (most screws, nuts, bolts, and washers), are to scale.
The flooring in this video is nothing like what came in my package - the video floor looks great and snapped together with ease…. Mine was WAY different with only three offset tabs and a few screws - offsets absolutely do not line up - I have tried MANy things. I went ahead and screwed it together with one inch gaps on each edge…. I expect it will be horrible later, but I have spent too many hours on this terrible step
This is too funny 😂 I just put mine bottom part together with a buddy and I said the same thing. Drinking while putting this together does not help by the way!

Does anyone have any suggestion to make the floor more cleaning friendly. I'm puzzled as to why they would make the floor have fake separations between the "boards." All it wants to do it catch dirt and it's a royal pain to try and clean. Silly design.
As a warning, your manual may point you to this video but it may not match 100%. Mine linked here but is clearly a newer model because some of the parts differ and the references to part numbers differ as well. It's close enough that you can figure things out and refer to the manual, but it's a bit strange that they don't mention it up front. He says a ton of things in this video that the manual skips over, but oddly leaves out a ton of things too. You'll need to refer back and forth.
When attaching the vents on the gable, it’s not clear which screws to use. I got them out of order using the big ones first and I think I screwed things up. And there are at least two bags of hardware, which is the instructions not made clear, I found the other one on the bottom. Horrible attention to detail, now I’m gonna have to go down to the hardware store and get more screws.

The part requiring flat tipped screws be drilled at a 45 degree angle into shallow divets that are not well designed to be entered at 45 degree angles is the reason I'm not going to buy another lifetime product requiring assembly. Your engineers took the day off when designing this part.

Is the window supposed to to be open-able? If so, why put a screw in the bottom? If not, why does it have latches and why not just have a bunch of screws around the edge like the door windows? Or is this an either/or window?

Honestly hate how the company assumes that I get internet or phone service where I live to watch a TH-cam video instead of just including all the steps on the paper manual. The frustration over the last couple of hours just wait for the video to load was too much.
We're sorry to hear this. We try not to make any assumptions about how you prefer to assemble your product. We try to include as many help options as possible, which is why we have our assembly videos and QR codes in the manual. The video is meant to be a companion to the assembly manual, not a replacement, but you don't have to use the video. All of the steps of the assembly are in the manual.

Never has a video had so much detail and information, yet show nothing of value. You can’t see the angles of where the roof is supposed to be. There’s a dozen holes on the ceiling pieces and this video does not show where they’re supposed to go.
The assembly video is meant to by used as a companion to the assembly manual and not a direct replacement. We recommend having the assembly manual on hand while building. The assembly manual shows a lot more detail and can show you exactly which holes the screws go into for each step.
I was suspicious to use an impact driver with plastic like this, but tried it. NOPE. Too powerful for it. I switched to a drill with an adjustable clutch.

P.S. for every minute of this video it will take you at least half an hour.
Awesome & very helpful video!!
ok my issue rn is im putting together the floor but its a newer one so the floor is a lil dif and it says each panel should have 6 divets to insurt the screws but mine on has 4?? and the floor boards wont line up nicely no matter how hard i push them together either the quality got worse or im dumb
Exactly the sam me for me!! I’ve spent over an hour on this step and the floor is trash - the old way in the video looks great! The four tab”improvement” DOES NOT WORK. I’m worried it won’t go together in future steps
Same!
Ditto here as well. Only 4 screw divots and a dozen black screws left over. Could NOT get the floor panels to lie flush to each other - had to force them and secure with screws.
Thank you
Watch this video!!! Forget about the manual. Did it myself in 6hrs. Could’ve done it a little faster with a partner. (Help isn’t necessary)
This video isn’t accurate needs to show one being out together that has issues like things not lining up properly and what to do in case of these issues
I would like to see the Guy put this shed together outside with the wind blowing in the Sun.
My manual was missing 7.10 through 7.15! Please keep the manual up-to-date with the video and construction.
We would like to look into this further. Please reach out to us at youtube@lifetime.com.
Great video ! Product on the other hand came with wrong sized nuts and the life time sticker on the door upside down.
That's weird. Send us an email at youtube@lifetime.com so that we can look into this further and send this along to our quality team.

Why are screws not labeled on the bags they come in? It’s a guessing game trying to find the right one!
Same!
This is too funny 😂 I just put mine bottom part together with a buddy and I said the same thing. Drinking while putting this together does not help by the way!
You have to absolute flat surf🎉
What’s the recommendation for the base? Preferably something DIY?
We recommend a pressure treated wood platform or concrete pad. Refer to your manual in section 1 for the instructions on how to do that. Can I put the window on the opposite side?
Yes it can!
Bro has no idea he's an internet celebrity with 260k views!
Does anyone have any suggestion to make the floor more cleaning friendly. I'm puzzled as to why they would make the floor have fake separations between the "boards." All it wants to do it catch dirt and it's a royal pain to try and clean. Silly design.

I put a cheap snap together vinyl over mine

Can the window panel fit on either side?

Wait a sec, so you put all the phillips screw heads on the inside where a straight screwdriver can't reach them? The solution is a Phillips bit and a pair a Vice Grips?! Engineering at its finest.
Just bought it and missing all section 2 parts
Thinking about adding electrical to this item. Any comments about this idea?
Our sheds are not designed to accommodate electrical wiring of any kind. Unfortunately, any modifications made to the shed will void your warranty.
Can this withstand extreme heat like 115 degrees without cracking?
Excellent job. Do you have a video for the 8x10 shed?
What model number are you looking for?
Is it normal to have several of those ADZ screws leftover???
Yes! They're there in caution.

The part requiring flat tipped screws be drilled at a 45 degree angle into shallow divets that are not well designed to be entered at 45 degree angles is the reason I'm not going to buy another lifetime product requiring assembly. Your engineers took the day off when designing this part.
The pack of adhesive rolls what are they used for. Not referring to the thin rolls for the windows.
The windows on the front doors
Bad luck for me the most of the holes in the gables pieces are missed aligned I have to ask the company to send me different pieces, the drill bit provided to drill holes for the door is broken during the assembly the video made it so easy to put it together with the exception of the pieces are nice and fit in together after 2 days of trying I am handed over to the pro . Does any one no how much it cost? Thanks
I'm sorry that you're having troubles with the build. I am happy to send out any pieces you need replaced. I am also happy to take a look at some of the issues you were having during the build so we can trouble shoot some ideas on how to make the assembly easier for you. You can send images over to youtube@lifetime.com with contact information. Why the heck are the adz screws not labled?
Which assembly video is closely resembled for model 60425 from BJ’s?
Use this video: th-cam.com/video/y2n0RqepG9g/w-d-xo.html. There's some differences so make sure you have your manual with you the whole time.
Can you put the window on the other side?
Yes, you can put both window wall panel on either side.
Sam's Club has this shed on display but I had a hard time buying it bc it wasn't in their system. Then got home and no instructions s or directives. Sam's Club had a hard time even finding and telling me what to do. Please get this corrected

@@LifetimeProductsAssembly This video saved us. The man finally found instructions in box
Is the window supposed to to be open-able? If so, why put a screw in the bottom? If not, why does it have latches and why not just have a bunch of screws around the edge like the door windows? Or is this an either/or window?
Yes, the window does open. The screw goes into the window panel but not into the wall panel to keep the window pane up when it is opened.
How do one open the window.

Thank you for pointing this out! It looks like the 3 letter ID has been updated since this video was made. We will work on making a new video that is up to date. This does not go together as easily as you video and the bar that is on the uprise above the door was the same as the back exactly the same plus this video was slightly helpful also still trying to put it together and this is day 2
what is the size for the foundation if I need to do it ?
The foundation needs to be at least the same size of the shed, so in this case it would need to be at least 8' x 7.5'.

Building this thing SUCKED.
This shed is the biggest piece of garbage on the market. The pieces come warped making it nearly impossible to put together. The manual doesn’t explain nothing in depth, and this video is misleading. If you are going to build this shed you will indefinitely need a few hands to help you and pray for a miracle that everything goes well because this shed is a can of worms.

Uh specify

I was suspicious to use an impact driver with plastic like this, but tried it. NOPE. Too powerful for it. I switched to a drill with an adjustable clutch.
