    OMG! this is just so perfect for me. I am a renter and need a new bird avery. But I cant put a cement slab down. This idea will suite as long as I throw down some bags of heavy weight rocks inside the frame, will be just so perfect!! Thanks all the way from Australia!

    It would be super helpful if the screws didn't strip so easily and if the holes that the screws go in were the actual correct size. Worked on putting mine together today and it was a nightmare. Even after drilling the holes slightly bigger (which I shouldn't have had to do) the screws still were a huge pain to get in and several got stripped in the process. It's definitely not as quick and simple as shown in this video unfortunately.

    • @thezphase4074
      @thezphase4074 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yup. I am starting on section 1.1 and the screws do not seem correct. I have not got one in. I think I will measure the holes and than head to my local hardware store to find more suitable screws for this.

    • @anunpopularstance
      @anunpopularstance ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No kidding. I can't get one screw in. The connection piece holes are at least 2 sizes smaller and the screws aren't self tapping. At least provide self tapping screws if you're not going to correctly size the holes.

    Ultimately did the platform measure 8x10 when all is done ?
    Why I ask is my shed manufacturer is suggesting that the platform be 92" 3/4 x 112" ( approx I'm going by memory )

    I’m on step 1.2, what’s the trick to getting the screws to grab the bracket? I don’t want drill the holes bigger, but the screws aren’t grabbing!

    • @LifetimeProductsAssembly
      @LifetimeProductsAssembly  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can try to apply more pressure on the screws but with this particular situation it is okay to drill the holes a little bit bigger so those screws can grab the bracket. @@LifetimeProductsAssembly or you could provide self tapping screws instead of the garbage provided with the kit. Apply more pressure? Sure and watch the threads strip off ensuring your foundation isn't structurally sound. There are several ways in which you could have designed this kit and you picked one that is terrible. Don't hire engineers who also minored in gender studies next time.

    Holes for drainage? Do you expect to get water inside the shed?

    • @LifetimeProductsAssembly
      @LifetimeProductsAssembly  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not necessarily. There a couple reasons why we use drainage holes. One being that the holes are for the foundation and not the shed itself. This will help the water drain out of the foundation when it gets on it. The other factor is that it will help the shed breathe in humid areas preventing rotting from moisture.

    How is the foundation secured to the ground?

    • @LifetimeProductsAssembly

    If I'm setting this foundation on top of gravel, about how much gravel should I use?

    • @LifetimeProductsAssembly
      @LifetimeProductsAssembly  ปีที่แล้ว

      For us, a leveled surface is considered 93 1/2” x 118 1/4” (2,38 m 3,00 m). Make sure your foundation is this size. To know how much gravel you need, we'd recommend contacting a local landscaper to see the amount of gravel you would need.

What is price range ? Is it less by the smaller the size & up or more the bigger. Metal is more but hoping this is not allot to the piece I got already is like not making sense to me delayed by months depression, cuz of it & covid fears, etc b4 I go it it. I have had nothing,but lots bad issues, disabilities, etc that have kept me from much, inabilities, etc. I do not have my brothers with me etc to help so just on my own.
