    I wish the hardware and all the pieces were labeled but I got it done. I like how Lifetime encourages the use of a drill driver. We all use them anyway so it is nice for a manufacturer to recognize that and just tell us to do it from the beginning. Now that I have done this once, I feel like I can do other Lifetime products quicker.

    Pretty easy assembly. Did it alone took me about 5 hours to complete. This video is a must watch if you dont like instructions!!

      If they would have bagged and labeled the hardware as designated in the manual this would have taken you only two hours at best! I have put together 3 other products from them together which had very clearly labeled hardware. Good products but this one needs some production reviews.

    Did anyone else have problems with 1.4 on the doors? Why are there channels to the sides of where the screws go in? If I miss my shot and slide into the channel it ruins the precise angle for the screw. I put the doors aside and built the rest of the shed and came back to this. 3:15

      I put one of the screws for the deadbolts on each end to hold it in place and align the side screws. Then I backed out that deadbolt screw and installed the dead bolts.

    Thank you much. Bought this shed at a yard sale and it had been broken down for transport. Putting it together, I went to the Lifetime website, but could not dredge up the corresponding manual. Workin' on a Brave Browser may or may not have been the issue, but your video is good for panel installation, not so much for selection of different sized hardware. But I sincerely thankyou for the help. Mention of hardware size would have made it perfect. Apolgies..., I now see the screw sizes.

    Just put this together and it was pretty easy. I used a 12v impact driver on medium setting and it worked fine. Watching the video is a must and saved the day. This is definitely a two person job. One thing though, the support pole for the shelf was too long. It didn’t snap in. Had to cut maybe 3/8” with a hacksaw and it worked fine. I’m pretty happy with it.

    Great video and helped a lot! I had a problem a lot of other people had, installing the roof on the wall hinge tube. With this problem, you need to ream the hole on the roof so that the rod will fit. Why wasn't this done in the first place and would have saved me tons of time thinking I wasn't exactly level instead of a manufacturing problem.

    I love the part where when installing the latch on the second door, you just shove those bolts right through that metal tube! You have to drill that out to get those bolts to go through.

    at 12:51 of the video we are told to secure the long end of wall bracket GQO to the fllor (section 2,20. However, the instruction manual said to install the long end to the channel (wall). which is correct?

    • @LifetimeProductsAssembly
      @LifetimeProductsAssembly  12 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Good catch. We're not sure how we missed this. We asked Isaac why he installed the bracket with the long end on the floor when the manual says otherwise and he said that the screw that goes into the floor fits better in the hole on the long end. He technically shouldn't have done it this way and should've followed the manual. But, installing the wall bracket either way will not affect the rest of the shed assembly.

      You may need to have another person apply pressure on the outside of the roof while you try to insert the hardware. If that doesn't work, try reaching out to our customer service experts. They can be reached at 800-225-3865 or by email at customercare@lifetime.com. Customer Service hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (MT).

    parts will warp if left outside before assembly.

    • @LifetimeProductsAssembly
      @LifetimeProductsAssembly  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Because the panels are plastic they can warp in the sun if left out. We don't recommend leaving the panels out prior to assembly. If they have warped, leave them flat on the ground and they should go back to their original form.

    This is a terrible depiction of what the assembly is like. The metal pieces usually have holes that are too small for the screws to fit through. The idea that they are supposed to fit through the holes and then into the plastic is further sabotaged by the horrible design of the plastic piece that they are supposed to fit into. Instead of designing a fortified plastic area, the area is cut away so that the screws can never get any kind of grip. They actually have far less plastic to support them than they need. It’s unbelievably stupid! And of course, the fact that the screws don’t fit through the metal pieces anyway - you know that this isn’t going to go well. The assembly manual is bizarre too. They are incapable of using names for the pieces and they use letters and numbers. So you’re going to be spending a lot of time trying to learn a new language and you’ll be flipping back and forth between pages to figure out what a CHK or a AEE or a GNK is. Totally annoying. I’m not sure if this thing is even remotely possible to assemble. The screw holes are impossible to get the screws through and if a company does not have a clue as to what diameter screws they use so they can drill the appropriate diameter hole for them… well, good luck dealing with these problems!!

    Two Words: Impact Driver
    Rest is common sense and following instructions. Nothing remotely challenging. Built by myself, assembling floor/roof/doors indoors to escape heat. Don't even have to lay on back to install front support poles. Used 2x 10lbs dumbells on corners of roof when mounting. Any difficulties screwing can be overcome with an impact driver. Gg.
