- I actually think this is one of my most relaxing haircut videos i've done, which surprised me because I had a bit of a disaster while trying to actually record it. One of my surface pros failed initially, then 1 of the rode mics died and in the end, i've had to resort back to the blue yeti until the second rode is fixed! I really hope this is enjoyable for at least somebody and it helps you relax and unwind a little.

ASMR is essentially a made up acronym (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response ) used to describe that tingly / buzzing feeling you may have experienced in your head or running down your spine. The sensation can be triggered by personal attention, tutorials, sounds etc. If you are discovering "ASMR" videos for the first time, their primary purpose is just to relax and almost always to send the listener to sleep.
I leave this barbershop both educated in grooming and well rested, but funnily enough with the same exact haircut I had beforehand!

Does anyone else listen to these as relaxing background noise? I'll listen at pretty much any time of day while doing anything from laundry and household chores to organizing emails and budgeting.

Sometimes it’s so much better that way! I do this while eating, studying, cooking etc and it really brings a whole new form of relaxation to things

Come on, Matt. Give yourself a lot more credit, when do I never enjoy your content and I'm certainly not alone in that? Over 127k of us can't be wrong, can we? I keep coming back to this channel more than any other ASMRtists' because I really enjoy the videos you make and how you approach them all in your own unique way in comparison to others. (Let's not share that with any other ASMRtists out there, though. Wouldn't want them publicly denouncing me and wishing another meteor raining down on me at the start of their videos, would I? Haha.)
This is the only channel that has earned my dinosaur footprint stamp of approval with a 5 out of 5 stomps rawrting; meaning that it's highly recommended by dinosaurs and therefore it's recommended to everyone.

This guy is the ASMR king. I cannot find another channel that makes videos of this quality. Other channels like GibiASMR just try to push a product and dont really put in as much effort as they once did into their videos.
Well I really do appreciate the kind words but I cannot have even one bad word uttered about our queen geebz hahah. Honestly she puts enormous amounts of time and attention into her videos. Seriously, she probably spends 10 times as long per video as I do. Yes she has a sponsored Saturday but that really doesn't detract from how hard working she is. The amount of positivity and encouragement that dude has put into ASMR is second to none.

It really is great coming back to this channel every now and then to see just how much effort Matt puts into all his videos. Your ability to fully embody a character and setting for every roleplay absolutely astounds me - it gives your videos, even the roleplays that are traditionally kept more casual (like, in this instance, haircut roleplays), a really unique kind of authenticity and immersion that I've yet to see from any other ASMRist. I have absolutely no idea how you do it, but it's incredible.

xd Myst depends on how much hair you got and how much you want to style it. Mine are normally like 20-25 min, but I always get it short and have a very simple style
Amazing Turtle my haircut is usually 2-6 minutes and it’s done ,take into count my hairs down to my shoulders

Really struggling with my chronic illness today and was actually gonna re visit your channel cuz you're low key and not too encouraging if that makes sense (too many positive affirmations make me uncomfortable) but still super relaxing and awesome and comfortable.
