- I know it's been a really long time since my last barber video but have no fear, here it is! I hope you find this hot towel shave, relaxing, enjoyable and hopefully can help you drift off effortlessly to sleep!
Word of warning: The electric razor makes an appearance here so it's a little loud for some, it's the very first thing I do (as always, when I feature it)

ASMR is essentially a made up acronym (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response ) used to describe that tingly / buzzing feeling you may have experienced in your head or running down your spine. The sensation can be triggered by personal attention, tutorials, sounds etc. If you are discovering "ASMR" videos for the first time, their primary purpose is just to relax and almost always to send the listener to sleep.

I hope this isn't the best lesson on shaving you've ever gotten. What he does to the razor at the very beginning, dragging it across the strop at a 90 degree angle, would mangle the edge and then your face! I enjoyed the video, but I wouldn't let this man anywhere near my face... at least with a razor.
Watched this whilst programming and needless to say I just woke up from sleeping on my desk 😂 great video man I loved it!

@@HardstyleGam1ng I coded in C for about a month to get a solid base and now coding in Python and just started learning a little of other languages like Jinja, JavaScript, HTML and css (if you can call the latter a language)
Anyway I'm having a lot of fun with it!
ObviouslyASMR ive worked with HTML and Eclipse in the past, now I’m learning JavaScript. Isnt it sooo satisfying when you get the code to work after so many hours of grinding?

Same, any haircut or shave role play is the most relaxing for me most likely because I love haircuts in real life. Plus, Matt is very good at what he does.

What a great way to end the day and wind down after work. Can always rely on this channel to get rid of any stress I've had throughout the day and to help me sleep. No two roleplays feel the same, there's always something new and different about each barber video and they're all extremely relaxing like the rest of the videos, Matt. You always overachieve with what you do, I'm always finding myself impressed with the level of detail you go into and how personal you make each video. It's for this reason that you're my favourite ASMRtist and I always come back to this channel to relax.

Props to you for using an actual straight razor and even a strop! So many other ASMR barber videos miss out on audio triggers with straight razor instruments.

I really enjoyed the blade sharpening at the opening. I commented in another one of your videos that I was so happy that you opened with mixing the shaving foam, which is a personal favourite. However, I’m so glad you kept things fresh with a new opening.

Hey Matt, not sure you’ll see this as I’m late to the party. I can’t give too much of a critique, because I only made it through the first few minutes- woke up with the phone on the floor and only one earbud still in ☺️. That virtually never happens to me. Normally, I just get so relaxed with ASMR that I have no problem going to sleep AFTER the video. Thank you for what you do!

Matt and I seem to have very different opinions on the sound of electric clippers. I personally enjoy it, as long as it is not overly loud. A soft hum slowly moving from one side to the other, and possibly back again for a quick even-up, going on for a minute or two would be nice.
Articulate is the king best channel for sleeping easy and seems like a genuinely decent guy
