- Okay so today's video is something i've never attempted prior and I hope it makes for a relaxing roleplay :D There are a few imperfections and lessons learned from a multi camera set-up but hopefully it's an interesting addition and not a distraction!
Apologies for the extended gaps between videos also, i'm just recording when i have the chance at the moment. However please know that every single view and comment literally means so much to me!

ASMR is essentially a made up acronym (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response ) used to describe that tingly / buzzing feeling you may have experienced in your head or running down your spine. The sensation can be triggered by personal attention, tutorials, sounds etc. If you are discovering "ASMR" videos for the first time, their primary purpose is just to relax and almost always to send the listener to sleep.

I really enjoyed this roleplay. Not just because of how relaxing it was, but also because I've always been fascinated with the whole artisan of watch/clockmaking and repairs. I just find the whole process to be quite tranquil and interesting. It's always been a secret desire of mine, that if i didn't have to work for a living and money was no object, I would love to just go off the grid for a while and become like a watchmaker's apprentice or something. Keep up the good work, you're one of my favourite ASMRtists.
The way Matt says "good" makes me feel like I actually accomplished something.
I love technical ramblings, and I love your work.

Awesome video, but just one thing, the NH34 is the GMT variant of the NH36, and transforms the former day-wheel mechanism to a 24-hour hand (GMT). So there would have been a small metallic spacer to go between the GMT pinion and the dial, to maintain preload. If you aren't installing a GMT hand as in this case, then it isn't required. Just know that you can upgrade to a GMT just by installing a new hand at the bottom of the stack!

This is absolutely true! However I don't use the gmt hand and I also find mounting a seconds hand at the top of this busy post quite challenging :D

I always enjoy ‘show and tell’/demonstration roleplays, but I think this may have taken the theme to the next level.
Throughout I was totally absorbed in all aspects of the process, the multi-cam really assisted with this, and I found it so relaxing to listen to your descriptive commentary/instruction…I even learnt a few things along the way, always a bonus.
At one stage you made the comment ‘almost surgical,’ and this summed up so well the care and attention you put into creating the watch.
Thank you for taking the time to create this amazing piece of content which I found so enjoyable.

I could call, but I don't wanna overstep my boundaries, I'm not entirely sure if he's with someone else, or if he even wants me to talk to him. As a watch snob I appreciate the accuracy of this video. Most watch related ASMR is in accurate and covers poorly made watches. So thank you for you knowledge of watches … you did the research.
But, at the end, is the watch upside down? Or did you put the straps on in reverse on purpose?
Ahhh well I'm certainly no expert but I've picked up little pieces over the years. I'm really glad it wasn't frustrating for a watch enthusiast to view. The strap was actually for my own sake :D
