ASMR is essentially a made up acronym (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response ) used to describe that tingly / buzzing feeling you may have experienced in your head or running down your spine. The sensation can be triggered by personal attention, tutorials, sounds etc. If you are discovering "ASMR" videos for the first time, their primary purpose is just to relax and almost always to send the listener to sleep.
I’m certain Matt is fantastic with his real job, but his way of detailing things in ASMR is truly spectacular. I know he doesn’t get ASMR feelings as he did as a kid, but he still does this for us. And then donates the money to charity, which is so cool and humble. truly a gift whenever I get a video of yours in my notifications. I end up listening to one of your videos every night until you release a new one, rinse and repeat. Thank you man seriously❤️🔥🧡

Always love when you upload, gives me 20 mins to an hour of the high life for a cheap price, lol, and a barbershop video is always an "oldie but goodie" ASMR video. It's not a good excuse to eat a lot of good treats and snacks like a Sugar Dealer or Concierge video, but you can't go wrong with it!

I get stupidly excited when he makes a new hair/facial hair style video.
It's clear that Matt puts a lot of time and effort into making his videos very high quality. Several ASMRtists do this, Latte ASMR, Goodnight Moon, for example. I know different things give different people ASMR, but Matt's stuff just does it for me. I know some people don't like talking, but I almost require talking for ASMR, and men's voices do it more easily than women's voices (though there are exceptions, ALB in whisperland ASMR for example is also reliably tingly for me). Articulate Design is definitely in my unrankable top 3 ASRM channels.
If somebody put this much focus on me offline I'd probably run screaming. In this video though.... Tingles were absolutely off the charts!
