For anybody who follows me on social media, you will probably have seen what a tough video this has been to pull together. I've always skated by on bare minimum with my editing. To even attempt to create some of the ideas I had in my head, I needed to actually learn some new effects and invest a lot more of my time. Now don't get me wrong, we're talking really basic stuff, it was new to me. As is always the case with my videos, i'm not really happy with it hahah. However i've learned a lot and it's knowledge i'll always have for future videos now too. (still lots more to learn!)
All of the footage and clips are free to use and most can be found on sites like videezy and pexels. Apologies I don't have a comprehensive list because I literally went through 100+ files for this hahah

So what's next? I'm thinking we continue this space theme for a few more weeks, maybe a ship maintenance prior to take off and then perhaps we FINALLY get another First Class Flight Attendant...only in space :D Then of course a hotel check in for the planet itself, though I think we'll wait till Christmas for that because I might use some of this new sponsorship money to have a piece of art commissioned for the background of the hotel, to really create something special for you all.

ASMR is essentially a made up acronym (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response ) used to describe that tingly / buzzing feeling you may have experienced in your head or running down your spine. The sensation can be triggered by personal attention, tutorials, sounds etc. If you are discovering "ASMR" videos for the first time, their primary purpose is just to relax and almost always to send the listener to sleep.
I just wanted to write a quick note to try and explain how much I appreciate, each and every one of you. My very first ASMR video had something like 55 views after a week and I had a few incredible comments, explaining how much it helped them. Now my videos get a little more than 55 views in a week but the feeling of gratefulness and total disbelief is still just as strong. Thank you so much for sticking with me after all this time and I really hope I can continue to help some of you :D

Wow, this brings me back. I still remember when Ally's "Departure 1" came out and there was nothing else like it at the time. She really revolutionized ASMR and showed how the form can go way beyond just whispers, tapping, and basic roleplays. She told a deeper story with a much more cinematic form, to the point where many of us are still waiting hopefully for Departure 3. When we create an ASMR Hall of Fame, she'll be in it for sure. Of course, Maria would undoubtedly be the first inducted, and I'd also like to nominate:
- Erin, for creating an entire universe of beloved characters
- itsblitzzz, for the most graceful and hypnotic hand movements I've ever seen
- Power of Sound, for the most soothing voice I've ever heard
- JBG, for making me feel truly cared for
- River, for making me feel First Class
- Karuna, for making me feel understood
- Ardra, for making me feel disassociated
- Angelica, for making me feel murdered
- My most recent favorite, Reiki with Anna, for making me feel healed
- And of course, last-but-not-least, Matt, for creating food videos that are adored by people like myself who are usually grossed-out by food videos (and he even does it with a beard!)

I miss Ally sooo much. Hope she’s doing fine. But so happy to have quality content from other creators as well.

The amazing follow-up to ASMRrequests’ old Departure videos... those were some of the most polished ASMR vids of their time and Matt is serving excellence in the same way now.

I have watched Ally’s departure videos more times than any one person should. So I appreciate this video so much, it’s honestly more than what I could ever have hoped for.
The tour/cruise/train of flight be the most relaxing , but nothing beats the vids where you sell something to us like coffee, wine or candy. Those are my favourite because it feels like you're relaxing and learning. Also dont know if you see this but your Mr Blue character on the gentleman asmr video was soo relaxing hope we get him again for suit fitting. Thank you for these videos Matt, you are to this day my favourite asmrtist , keep up the amazing work👏👏

Been falling asleep to this video for like a week now and keep starting where I fell asleep and hearing new parts (and forgetting to comment), top notch video man! I loved the little Kepler story, kinda eerie but also a fascinating scenario to think about

This one really makes me reminisce of AMRequests video (mostly when you mentioned Gliese-581G), which is one of my favourite video's ever. ZThis one definitely goes up there too, so relaxing! Great to get back into that school rhythm

Just found your channel and I love how you incorporated the "incident" that happened in Episode 2 of ASMRequests. So many of us wanted a 3rd part and although that hasn't happened, I love how your video stems off of hers and even ties up the loose ends of what happened with the explosion. Great job. I'm a new fan. Love the thought of space travel and using devices that we haven't invented yet. I find it very relaxing to go to a completely imaginary place

This video gave me a rather somber vibe. space travel can do that to me. thinking about there being another earth, full of other people who've been living there for a long time, just makes me feel some kinda way. Plus roleplaying as a person who hasn't left the solar system, speaking to you the person in charge of asmr space tours, it feels like i've been left behind by everyone else and no one is still here on earth

I think I watched that one every night for several months. If I remember correctly, part 2 took forever to come out and people were not happy with her.

This is brilliant!! Ally's videos, especially Departure, were my absolute favorites when I first discovered ASMR, and my tastes in videos and my triggers have changed over the years, but that one has always remained one of my all time favorites. This one is amazing with all the little references, but it stands perfectly on its own! Amazing job!
