I tend to get a little OCD about them Syncing. I religiously check them every morning and it’s a result when they all receive the signal. Just recently, the Ft Collin’s tower was damaged by a storm. My MB6’s didn’t receive properly for weeks and it really bugged me. The tower must have been repaired as I now receive the signal daily again. Between that, and keeping the solar cells topped up, my watches really do keep me busy.
Today i ordered my first Frogman GWF-1000 classic. Never saw any Casio Frogman, only on videos. I've had few G-Shocks, currently only Rangeman 9400, great watch. I hope i'll enjoy the Frogman since the unboxing 😊 I plan to wear it as my summer beater watch 🙂 Your collection is amazing and those different color variations always looks great, Casio have really great team of graphic designers
They do indeed. Thanks for your kind words. You’re going to love the Frogman and it’s perfect as a beater as it’s so over built. It will definitely take everything that you can throw at it. Congrats on your first Frogman and enjoy it in the best of health 🐸🙏🏾🐸
What a collection, Mike! But, I have to admit that I was immediately distracted for the remainder of the video when you showed your on-the-wrist piece. So, the first thing and the last thing I saw on your video was that MR-G! Everything in between was a froggy blur. Seriously, I applaud you for offering to produce videos to show off watches provided by your fellow Canadian watch enthusiasts! Well done!

Beautiful collection, Mike. I have around 7 Frogs myself, including the Gold Tornado, MR-G, Black Knight and Magma Ocean. I can safely predict that the Magma is going to be worth more than all of them in a few years. I knew that the moment I saw the "25th anniversary" (for Frogman) engraved on the keeper of a 35th anniversary (for G-SHOCK) watch. These little touches are what collectors go crazy for.
Nice to meet another Frogman enthusiast. You’re right on the money regarding the Magma Ocean Frog, what a beauty it is too. To be honest though, I love most frogs, except for the new analog offering, nope, not for me thanks. Thanks for your support😉
@@desire68frogman98 Haha I feel you man, but you should give the A1000 a chance. I picked up the red colorway recently. Beautiful watch and it wears much more comfortably than the D and 1000. bit.ly/2XuFXOJ
Is it blue or a teal blue? Anyways that's my favourite for sure . Though it would have to be my daily and it would get thrashed over time unfortunately. lol. Especially being light colours. Been through that before with other g shocks 😅 GWF-B1000 would be my daily. Though at the moment for now my smoky gray gulfman has been my daily for 4-5 years. Hopefully longer. Love it.
It’s official colour is “Marine Blue” very beautiful frogman indeed, but it looks terrible “thrashed” Definitely darker colours for daily use and smoky grey is perfect 👌🏾
Plan on purchasing my first frog within the next week or so and your videos have definitely helped me. I have a gg-b100 mudmaster, gwn-1000h gulfman, and a few other gshocks. I plan on buying a 1000 series next. Ive been jonesing over the gwf-d1000b-1. the blue/black or the tiffany. Just not sure what to pull the trigger on! thank you!
Well, you have come to the right place Brandon. Both are “excellent” choices and you won’t be disappointed with either. If I can offer any advise on which one to chose I will say this. If you plan on wearing your frogman often as in a few times a week, then the D1000b-1 is your best choice. If you know that you will only wear your frogman once a week, then the “Tiffany” is all yours. Just be aware that she attracts dirt like no other and if you’re anything like me, and don’t like your light coloured G’s looking dirty, be prepared to clean this one “regularly” I did a vid titled “Maintaining Tiffany” If you haven’t watched it yet I would advise you to do so. Here, you will see what I go through to keep this beautiful frogman in pristine condition. When I was at the point of buying these two D-Series gems, I, like you, couldn’t decide between the two, so I did what some of us G-Shoclaholics do, I chucked choice out of the moving vehicle and got them both lol. I’m so glad I did because as beautiful as Tiffany is, that blue black with its blue accents and carbon fibre blue strap, is a really sexy piece and a very hard to pass up. I’m summary, I’ve probably not helped you one bit lol so I will say this, either of these fantastic pieces will be a great choice, and if you can’t get them both, buy either one, with a view to add the other as your next watch purchase. Happy frog hunting, please let me know which direction you end up heading🐸🖤🐸

Yes! Been waiting for frog collection video! Episode "Chillin with Frogs" 😂 Enjoyed it thoroughly.👍 GWF-D1000B is actually the only model in production from D frogs, I was kinda suprised that the vanilla black model (GWF-D1000) is discontinued on casio site with other color models. Mike, what is your opinion on analog A1000? I think I know the answer 😁😂
Yessssss, another Frogman brother. Welcome to the pond dude lol. Frogs are special, and therefore for life. As for the analog frog, that one needs to be thrown back lol. I might get one in for review purposes only, but even then, it’s only a “might” lol
Awesome video and killer collections.. mad lovely pieces.. pls you mentioned some proxy websites where to purchase, could yoo help with these websites please.. thank you 🙏
Thank you for your kind comments. The Proxy site I use is “fromjapan” this site had been my #1 go to for all JDM specific pieces. The only thing I will say is that, now, due to COVID the shipping can be an issue as Asia has severely reduced its outgoing Mail. 😢
The frog line is really cool, my question is what makes them so expensive, alot of the functions it has are not unique to other g shocks. Is it just a brand marketing strategy and now the prices are extremely marked up?
Good question. Not the official answer but all I can think of is that they’re all JDM models, have a ISO rating and have that “elite status” among G-Shock enthusiasts. Us consumers do have a very big part to play in the marketing, following and pricing. I remember seeing and buying my first Frogman. It was the burning red 1000 series. Back in 2011 it could be had for around the $500USD mark. I was a little hard up and needed the cash so I sold that Frogman. A couple of years later when I was doing a lot better financially, I was able to buy it back, only now the price had literally tripled 😳 guess what, I paid it as I knew that the quality was worth it. I also own a couple of MRG’s, the prices for these top model G-Shocks is insane but I, like others pay the asking price. If seems that Casio know this “just like other large watch brands do” so they keep on pricing them as high as they do, knowing that consumers will pay the price. It’s a struggle to keep collecting in this present climate, but one thing’s for sure, I’ll never sell a frogman, MTG or MRG again. They’re too precious and way too hard to reclaim when the need arises.
I own a gw9000 and gw9300 mudman, the 9300 is jdm and was definitely more expensive because of it. The quality does seem to be very good and it is infact used. So I can definitely understand that, but to me the price of the frogman is way to much for what it offers. Many g shocks are already very hardy for what they endure. I also own a 9052 that I bought at wal mart for 50$ and It still works perfectly after taking it to the ocean, working with paint, working in construction etc. I work in mud and all that which is why I upgraded to a mudman. Well 2.
@doppeekidd I get you man, but at the end of the day, when the name “Frogman” is mentioned, it causes attention. It’s like a cult following, which helps jack up the price. Don’t get me wrong, the Frogman is an awesome watch, and I love them, but the hype is real with this model and I feel it always will be. Frogman are special G-Shocks, the collectors and consumers have caused them to become this way. Casio know this and capitalize on it. I still want the Japanese coastguard model and it’s wicked expensive, but if I had the $$$, I wouldn’t even think twice. Others might think that spending that amount on, what’s really another D Series Frogman in a different colour, is utter madness, while all I see is a wicked Frogman added to the frog pond🐸🐸🐸
@desire68frogman98 🤣🤣 I get it bro I guess the hype is real, I'm not rich by Any means but I love g shocks and have my eyes on a specific frogman , only problem is it's about 800$ and that's a bit too much for me. Maybe one day I can acquire it lol
While the Frogman isn’t extinct, they are becoming increasingly harder to find. Your best chance to find them are on the Asian sites of you want them brand new, or on eBay if you don’t mind them being used. Good luck 🐸👍🏾🐸
Awesome collection! I have a few questions. How often do they release new versions/limited edition FM? Do you think casio is trying to pivot away from the FM by releasing these other Master of G watches with all the features?
Good questions. Casio don’t release LE Frogman models anywhere near as often as other G-Shocks. I feel that this helps to keep them in that exclusive bracket. I don’t think that Casio are trying to pivot away from the Frogman, they did just introduce the first analog frogman a few months ago but they’re also still producing the D-Series frogman with a couple of releases this year. Personally, I feel that they know what they have with the frogman model and it’s following and that’s what will keep them trickling through. I don’t think the analog frogman was or even will be as big a hit as previous models but there is definitely a market for it so we should see more analog frogman coming through, but not as a replacement for the latest iteration “D-Series” Frogman. Just my own honest opinion. Happy Frog Friday 🐸🖤
I heard you mention a proxy service for getting watches from Japan. There's a limited edition version that's China only. Is there a reliable proxy service door China?
I’m not sure about China but I use “FJ” A proxy site called fromjapan and I’ve used it to buy some serious pieces too and I haven’t had any issues to date.
Well, the “Burning red” GWF1000-RD-4jr was my first ever frog. While I don’t really have a favourite, because I love them all, the Burning red is a special one for me.
@@desire68frogman98 yes haha they build a froglan digital and numeric but they cancel the model this year cause he have a problem so i think you will see this next year for the 40 years of gshock
Make sure to buy early if possible, because the longer we wait to buy them, the more the price increases. I really love the Japan Coastguard model, but I will never get one now as the price for it is astronomical. As much as I love and want that one, I would never be able to justify the asking price, total madness.
Wrong bro. The DW8200 is full titanium body, so is GW 200. No need to google it or fact check it. I own both. The non - titanium are the GWF, so the MR -G Frog is not the only one rocking it.
Not googling or fact checking so no worries there. I think you misunderstood what I was getting at. The MRG Ti Frogman is the “only, completely full Ti Frogman” case, case back and, including the bracelet” the others that you mention use resin straps which, when compared to the MRG Ti Frogman makes the MRG Ti Frogman the “only” completely Titanium piece. Hope you enjoyed the vid and watched the others too.

What frogman model is the smallest? Im planing to buy 1 but my wrist is to thin
The GW-8200 is the smallest frogman. They are the older version now but still very cool and always a great addition to any collection.
@@desire68frogman98 are they still selling that model? Or discontinued?
Discontinued but you can still get them online. Research is your friend.
@@desire68frogman98 okay thank you for the reply!
@@dyslexicbien Any time man👍🏾
Awesome collection!
Thanks for the tip of not selling a Frogman. I am ready to buy my very first Frogman and it will be the GWF-D1000B-1JF.
Great choices for your first frogman. You’re gonna love it. Bet you cant just buy one😉
@@desire68frogman98 I know LOL! I've had G-Shocks over the years but never a Frogman. There is always time for everything.😉
Absolutely my friend🙏🏾
what is your favorite one?
Well, the “Burning red” GWF1000-RD-4jr was my first ever frog. While I don’t really have a favourite, because I love them all, the Burning red is a special one for me.
@@desire68frogman98 yes haha they build a froglan digital and numeric but they cancel the model this year cause he have a problem so i think you will see this next year for the 40 years of gshock
Can’t wait to see what they do.
@@desire68frogman98 same but we know now a mix of the new one and old one
Make sure to buy early if possible, because the longer we wait to buy them, the more the price increases. I really love the Japan Coastguard model, but I will never get one now as the price for it is astronomical. As much as I love and want that one, I would never be able to justify the asking price, total madness.
Please give me one.i am o poor boy from albania
You’re very funny 🤣🤣🤣
@@desire68frogman98 I see.
I didn't count the resin as I view it not part of the "body", but rather a shell. But I get it now.
Nice one, all cleared up🐸
