Just got mine a couple days ago and I love the ergonomics of the P365. It's smaller than a standard 9mm but bigger than a Dillinger. It's just right for stealth mode. It's not too wide, tall, or heavy with nice sights that can hold up to a 17 round mag 🔥🔥🔥🔥👌🏾.
I just can't do anything but Glock. Other pistols just don't do it for me. Glocks are simple, reliable, smooth without all the switches and other BS. Perfect imo.
Finally got my p365 I pre-ordered 3 months ago. After 2 flawless range visits I've decided to replace my G43 with the p365 for my primary carry. Love them both, I shoot them both very well. But shooting both side by side, it becomes clear that Sig hired Mary Poppins to design the p365 magazine. Unfortunately they also let Martin Shkreli price the magazines.
I've had my eye on the Glock 43 until this video - already own the G19. Seriously looking at the Sig now. It seems much more concealable (while carrying more rounds). Is that your experience?
@@TWN321 Wow 3 year old reply. Guess its a great time for a long term update. The P365 has been my EDC for 3 years now. I shoot it in IDPA matches as well. My wife liked it so much she bought one a couple of years ago too. She's carrying it right this moment as part of the Yom Kippur security team. I've shot it side by side with Special forces and SWAT guys shooting G19 w/ optics at Tactical Response, Warrior Poet Society, and countless more training classes. And everyone is always shocked how accurate and easy it is to shoot fast. I have had 3 light primer strikes, all when shooting filthy ammo with ~500-1000 rounds since last cleaning. Best carry gun I've ever had, wouldn't change a thing, nor would I swap it out for any of the newer (bigger) models like the 365X, XL XL Spectre, or any of the romeo models. Finally, I carry with a 10+1 in the gun, and a 15 round spare mag in my pocket in a Ammo Armor pocket pouch.
@@kraemer66 Yeah, I know my reply is waaayyy after you posted :-) - but just starting to rethink my EDC strategy and want something more streamlined. Pretty sure I'll pick up the P365 instead of the G43 (though I have a lot of respect for Glock). Thanks for the feedback!
@@TWN321 The G43 sat untouched in my safe for a couple years until I saw a prime opportunity to sell it in the Summer of 2020. Good chatting with you.
I went into my local shop and I was set on walking out with a Glock 42 .380 ACP. As I was pointing to it under the glass, I saw the 43 sitting next to it. Well, the 43 ultimately won out and with the Striker Industries EMP +2 mag extensions, that was a deal closer. The 43 came with the stock flat plate mag and a stock pinky extender plate. So when they come it, it will give me 8+1 cap in such a small EDC package is so much a win. I am used to carrying a full size Sig with 15+1 and a spare magazine. So heavy and bulky. I am so glad I got it over the 42. The P365 is a nice package too, but at a $100 more for the base price and no where near the available aftermarket parts, the choice was easy. And I know the Glock is always going to fire. Like the "revolvers" of the semi-autos
Praise worthy, for $70!The only issue was the round gasket ring seal between the CO2 and needle th-cam.com/users/postUgkxnX9wE_Q8zvF75Y5iWzTU3Q4FlrtyGApQ . Withered away, and I'm having a tough time finding a replacement.Gun still works perfectly, but needs a new gasket. Can someone please say where to find the gasket replacement?
I’ve been carrying a G43 daily for a little over a year now and I’m heading out tonight to buy a p365. Thanks for the video, it was extremely helpful and as unbiased as you could get I think.
Great informative review. I have had the G43 for years and it's a great gun, but after shooting my Shield Plus and revisiting my G43 I realized how much better the trigger is on the Shield Plus. Both guns are factory original.
I have a newer model and the front is fixed, I have 12 and 15 round mags and they are great, I've been shooting for over 70 years, yes 70 years and this is a great gun, I am a 1911 nut and carried one for years and this is the gun to have, I paid $499 + tax for it in 2019. Great video!
Great video. I have one of the 365 “first run” pistols. I love it despite a few hiccups with some ammo. I’ve ordered the updated 365 from Old Glory Gun Shop in Mason, NH. When that arrives I’ll ship my original 365 back to Sig with a written report on my experience. I think Sig likes to hear firm it’s customers. And as you said in your video their customer service is excellent. Just so you know I’m a 73 year old gal and am recuperating from a complete left shoulder replacement. I’ll be shooting right hand only for awhile. My advise to your followers: PRACTICE, PRACTICE, strong hand, weak hand only a heck of a lot more than you think necessary. Trust me, too much is never, never enough!! Keep up the good vids and God bless!
I finally found a P365 and have gone to range everyday since, by far my favorite 9mm. The 12 round mag makes all the difference in the world! Have owned G19's and still have G36 but Sig has taken over.
Just had both these guns on the counter trying to choose. Went with the glock. Customization, comfort, and aftermarket parts sold it for me. I just could not get a good grip on the sig, it was not comfortable to hold it was too small for me.
I shot a G43 and the latest version P365, with the X-Ray sights, side by side at the range today. I have to give the nod to the Sig. For me, it seemed to handle recoil a bit better and it fit my hand better. More rounds is just icing on the cake.
I’m glad you got to do some comparisons! I love hearing about real world experiences. I agree that the Sig handles recoil very well considering its size. Thank you for sharing and cheers!
Most of your review & that of other folks reviews on the 43 vs this or that gun indicated that the Glock was "just not as..." or very close to but... or the Glock is a great gun, its just... etc. That is fine how reviewers compare the Glock 43 or another Glock to a gun they just bought for comparison. The strength to the Glock is it compares favorably to most guns out there in many areas and is a simple, basic gun. Many review are *subjective* and rate *personal preference* like: - The plastic Glock sights are meant to be temporary. (IMO) Glock knows the first thing people replace on their handguns are the sights. Glock, Inc. lowered their pistol's overall prices so the consumer can use that savings and get their favorite sights. Smart. - "How the Gun feels in my hand" - Those hands which no one else has the same hands (my hands are XXL) - Recoil is more or less felt - recoil of a 44 mag. revolver can be handled by a 14 year old girl so recoil can be adjusted easily too. All polymer pistols have softer recoil due to the flex. - Trigger safety feel?? That little lever & the pull feedback - I never cared as it just works on the Glock. - More rounds an advantage? Yes & No. How many rounds does it take to do the job? - For CCW? - For LEO work? - For Home defense? on & on. In street shooting the first one (1) or two (2) shots are the most effective. The rest of your shots and not very useful in actual street CCW shooting. Interesting review. I use & carry the *Glock 43 and as a tool* and how over all it is the best gun money can buy. it all that is needed. Why?: Glock was 1st to introduce or make popular: - Hi-Cap Handguns - Lightweight Handguns (Goodbye all-steel paperweights) - The Striker Fire Control systems - Commercially successful use of a Polymer Frame - Fewest parts & inexpensive replacement stock parts - Glock gunsmithing can be easily done by their owners - Out of the box durable & reliable without need for custom parts - No need for an external safety. Just grab, point, & shoot. - Glock Inc. will update your old or out of spec. Glock pistol & magazines to the current standard FOR FREE! - etc *I choose the Glock 43 over all other CCW firearms.*
Love my 365. 2900 rounds and going strong. Personally, I would like the manual safety. I did change the spring at 2500 rounds-recommended. Lately, I have shot 124 grain ammo and it works great. Highly recommended!! Thank you Sig.
More capacity = more ammo = more weight Magguts now makes additional capacity springs and follower kits for both firearms. That should be something to consider in the present day.
I have both and each are great in their own way. My wife’s smaller hands prefer the grip on the Sig. My larger hands like the Glock. On the flip side, my wife says the Sig kicks a bit more (snappy is the word she used) so she prefers the Glock overall. Trigger on the Glock is more predictable. Sig trigger is smoother but can sneak up on you. My preference is the Glock with an extended mag. It just fits my hand better and I get better control and accuracy. But, like I said, both are great. No, both are excellent. With enough practice, either is an excellent choice. Can’t go wrong either way!
I've shot both, I'd take either one. I do like the sig a little better. I'm not able to purchase the P365 or the G34 in Commifornia. They are both great subcompact pistols.
If you cant decide between these two I have both and the 365 is the better of the two. (In my opinion) it has steel night sights,a much better trigger, higher mag count,a teeny tiny bit easier to conceal and now that sig worked out the primer drag problems that these had at first they are both equally reliable guns. I love glock but in this case the sig has it beat.
Looking to buy one of these two for self-protection after having my business robbed 3 times in 2 years. I need it to work 100%. A gun going back for repair is not going to help me. A gun not working could cause my life. My answer if you can only buy one it has to be Glock 43X. Thanks for sharing this review.
Agree and if the Glock ever did break they’re so simple you can source replacement parts cheaply anywhere and fix them yourself. The P365 on the other hand has to go back to SIG. It’s a more complex pistol. In addition, SIG says the P365 should go back to SIG every 5,000 rounds for a total detail strip and all springs changed/parts inspected. With my 43 I can do that myself in 5 minutes.
I chose the Sig and I’m happy I did. Reliability being roughly the same between the two in this video, sig has features I prefer. I HATE trigger safeties and I like manual safeties. (The p365 now has a manual safety). The sig is smaller and holds more rounds. Love the X-ray sights. Grip texture is perfect. I shoot old school ‘teacup’ style so no thumb ride. Weight is perfect to accept recoil. And so far I’ve never had any failures with various ammo. Ballistics from the 3.1” barrel are excellent with Federal HST LE JHP ammo. Slide racks really well due to deep grooves. Couldn’t ask for a better edc.
I applaud your efforts to break the internets by drawing a large portion of trolls into one area. My thinking was that car guys were the biggest group of loud talking, endless bickering, mouth breathing slump shouldered Neanderthals on the face of the earth, then I got into guns and I continue to be astounded by the insecurity surrounding so many in the gun community over their choice of which firearm they purchased. Great video 👍🏻
I have close to 2000 rounds through my P365. I love the size, the round count, and the ability to conceal the firearm. This thing has a crazy great trigger in it. Very shootable. You can control the recoil and get right back on target. Sig hit a home run here. Top sold handgun in 2019.
I own a P365 NRA edition build date of July 30 2019 and have over 2000 rounds through it. No issues and boy do I love it. I am a Glock fanboy and own several Glocks like G19, G29, G43, G43X. Great weapons simple and easy and follow the military rule. Kiss, keep it simple stupid and sig even made it better by not having to pull the trigger before take down. Awesome job sig, cannot say I am a sig fanboy but I do love the P365 and I am selling my G43, G43X. My wife loves her G19 but keeps taking my sig for CCW.
I was going to a P365, but there was a used G43 in the case for $330. I shot them equally well, P365 was definitely a more ergonomic grip but I HATED it’s magazine release button. Decided to save $200 and got a the used Glock. I’m happy with my decision.
I have a Kahr, a Ruger LC9s, and a Glock 43 for small 9mm carry-ables , and I can see myself acquiring a P365 at some point for sure- hey, it's for the collection! However, I just love the 43 for so many reasons that I doubt that I'll actually carry anything else. I have had Sigs break in years past.
Good, very thorough review. I just purchased the P365. I have been using a Sig P224 (.40) and an HK P30sk (9mm) for car carry. I am totally surprised how small the Sig P365 and more so for the 10 round capacity! I still love the other two (I got one of the good P224's before Sig quit making them). The HK is like a Jeweler's piece, it is made so well, fit -finish- quality. But the P224 and the HK are heavier as well as larger. I think I will take the P365 more places after I run several boxes thru it and check it's performance. I'm glad I got into it after Sig fixed the early glitches. I've never had problems with my other Sigs. I hope for the best, of course! My Glock 23 has been retired from active duty for now. Shoots great - ugly with no "charisma". Feels fat. Thanks for a great review! P.S. I agree about firing these small guns a lot of rounds at a time. I took my P224 to the CCW class and got a lot of stares from the others when we did the qualifying portion. Loud and very abrupt recoil. I think I will really enjoy the P365 9MM.
Thank you for the review. Very good! I went in to purchase a Glock43 yesterday and purchased the Sig 365. have been questioning myself. Not any longer. Feel I made the right choice. I'll keep you posted after I run some rounds through it! Strickly have been a glock advocate thus far! Thank you again!
I have both also. I LOVE the 10 round magazine of the Sig P365. (No changes - mods needed !) The G43 is a fine shooter, being "Bare Bones" older technology. (I'm NOT a Fan Boy of any manufacture!) (Just like my 1911 45 ACP, which I LOVE dearly.) But for my Daily Concealed Carry, I now go with the P365. (two years now, own 3 models) ALL are Excellent weapons' and are just our Personnel Preferences ! Stay on guard and stay safe !
I had a 365 for a little bit, it felt weird in my hand. Not uncomfortable, just weird. It also felt like a lot of plastic, super light. The 43, to me, just feels more “solid”.
Magguts offer a +1 follower and +1 baseplate which is smaller than regular +1 baseplates. With this you got 8 shots with almost the same size and just 2 less than the 365.
Great review. Going to pick mine up in May sometime. I do love my 43 but the Sig is a great addition to EDC. Plus the sights and magazine capacity definitely make it very desirable firearm. Just hoping everything is ironed out with any issues and in the long run it's a reliable firearm. Thanks for sharing brother!
Thank you very much 101! I agree, between the sights and mag capacity, it's tough to beat. I think Sig is quickly working out the issues and it will be a solid runner long term. Cheers brother!
Great video. I'm currently shopping for a pocket 9mm but I won't even consider buying a P365 until Sig fixes the firing pin breakage issue. The reliability of the Glock 43 is unsurpassed. I have looked and read the reviews of over a dozen pocket 9mm and the glock 43 is at the top of my list so far.
@@uglydogg4995, intelligent response. You’re the one crying about somebody daring to criticize Glock. Because we all know that 40 cal Glocks never blew up, Gen 4s never had any problems, the Glock 42 wasn’t locking slides back prematurely leading to multiple “secret” gens before releasing the 43 model, and that Speer didn’t have to make a custom 165 gr Gold Dot load because their standard offering was causing their Gen 3 Glock 22s to jam. Of course we can’t forget about the chronic brass to face ejection problems Glock has had since they switched to MIM extractors. Glocks aren’t perfect
So stoked about this review. Mines due to be delivered to my FFL for pick up soon and I feel very confident after this review as well as others that I bought an absolute prize of a firearm.
Sig did it right....build a special magazine, then build the gun around it! I just got my P365 a couple weeks ago, and after several hundred rounds downrange, it is now my EDC(replacing my S&W mod.37 snubby & Sig P290. Nice channel brother, hope you & the other gun content fellas are around awhile(i know it looks grim). Best wishes, MIKE.
Mike, thank you very much for the thoughts! I completely agree with you brother. Sig definitely had an ingenious design. Congrats on the new score. Cheers!
Smooth, informative.... I got a new phone today. All of my TH-cam subscriptions were wiped. You were the very first one that I chose to subscribe to. Just the facts sir. Keep up the good work.
KS, just wow you do a great job breaking every aspect about the gun down. As a first time gun buyer I can not thank you enough. It tends to be difficult to get my hands on ALL of the guns that I am looking at to buy to determine which should be my first. I would love to buy a Glock some day but I am in favor of the Sig. I do think your videos are a little lengthy but with all of the insightful information you keep me hooked until the end. I can not wait to see your upcoming videos. Again thank you.
I think the rounder edges on the grip of the Glock 43 makes it more comfortable to hold and conceal than the P365, which has sharp corners on the back of the baseplate that dig into your palm.
I just purchased my first Glock and it's a G43 I have held the 365 and I personally didn't like where the mag release was at I had to rotate my hand out of position to drop the mag so i left it lying. The Glock 43 is perfect for my hand , if you need more than 7 rounds youre in big trouble anyway.🎉🎉
Nice comparison and good detailed info as always....A couple of very good pistols as I think it just comes down to what a person prefers...How the heck could you go wrong with either....Nice choice though....Good stuff....
I own both. Something to mention is the trigger, and trigger guard comparison . The stock Glock trigger wins this one, the 365 has a little too much take up before hitting the wall for me. Glocks trigger guard also is textured and very grip-able, the 365’s is smooth and curved, kind of hard to get a solid grip on with your pointer finger. With all this being said the 365 is my everyday carry. People forget the entire purpose of concealed carry is concealment. The 365 is so small I can wear shorts and a t shirt and still barely print. After a trigger job and a little practice, I’ve come to love it. However straight out of the box the Glock gets the nod.
2 years after this video... My cousin owns a 43 and presses me to buy one. However, the problems with the early P365's are gone, and I'm in the market for an EDC. So, I'll be buying a new Sig. Thanks for these great videos - btw...
They are not gone not by a long shot. I work in a high volume store. We get more p365s back then any other firearm. Most of the time it's recoil springs sometimes the firing pin breaks on the first range trip. My advice get a steel firing pin for 100 dollars
I shot a SIG P229, and it was made for my hand. I shot a SIG P220, and it wouldn’t cycle every round; and I don’t limp wrist guns. I like the design of the P365, but I also will wait to make sure they have worked out all the bugs. Good review.
Good review again. I’m fairly new to pistols recently bought a 19X and a 365. No failures yet on the 365 have had a few ff on the 19X early on. Seems to be working well now. That little SIG is a neat little gun. Love the sights and feel of the gun especially for my big hands.
Just bought two new Sigs over the last year or so. Both had to go back to factory for repairs. One wouldn’t stay in battery. The other came without a firing pin.
Update 4 yrs later you can now get 15 rd magazines for the p365 and it also has xl grips to change out. The glock has other mags that give I believe 12 rd capacity but now sigs are catching up with after market
I have both and I can't make up my mind which to use! The sig having 10 rounds kind of pushing me to choose it, but my Glocks have never had a single misfire
KS, must really big good for you to have some problems, send it back and still pick as best of two. Thanks as usual for all your videos, comments and insights.
Glock 43. I carry with a +1 mag extender. 7+1 is plenty for concealed carry. I also carry a spare mag. If I need more than 15 rounds, I have bigger problems than the model of my carry gun, lol.
I fully do not understand the idea of a CC with an extra mag... for the same mass and a smaller footprint, just carry a larger gun with bigger capacity and be way less of a CC footprint
I just got the 365 2 weeks ago and can't believe just how small this weapon is. I bought the 15 round mags for it which adds about an inch to the bottom but no biggie still fits in my pocket in my sticky holster just fine...
I recently looked at both of these guns, and with the 12 round magazine with an extension, the 365 felt great in the hand. Now if I can just find one to buy.
Some regular range buddies and I took off and shot and compared a number of the micro9's. The Sig is a Nice gun, but none of us felt it lived up to the hype. Myself and a few others did not like the lack of space between the receiver and the grip. My thumb was touching the receiver. Why did Sig make this so narrow" This is going to cause a problems for some folks with larger hands. And forget shooting it with gloves. We liked the sights and the trigger. Mags were easy to load. The gun is mild, but SNAPPY. Much like the Ruger LC9S. You could really start to feel the snap the more you shot it and especially with plus p ammo. All in all, it is a nice gun. But none of us felt like we would go out to get one just because it shoots more rounds. Like any gun, I highly suggest you shoot one before purchase to make sure it is the right fit. We shot a lot of rounds down range and only had 4 failures and they could have been user error. The gun seemed to perform at shorter distances better than longer ranges compared to the other guns we were comparing to. In the group was the wife of one of our group and she seemed to really like the grip very much, but she had small hands and had enough room for the off hand near the receiver. All of us perfered the larger capacity magazine. More rounds and the weight and grip helped to control the snap.
I've owned the 43 for a few years. It is decent, but its capacity is its major drawback as I dont like carrying around more than 1 spare magazine for conceal carry which is why I typically carry a semi auto with 15 rds standard cap. The P365 seems to be a good option to compromise with with its 10+1 standard capacity.
Too late for me I already bought the Glock 43 a couple years ago. Great gun but the magazine capacity is only six I do have a plus two and three taran tactical after market mags.
On the bright side you have many more aftermarket options to make it a much better shooter than the 365. The default 43 is already a better shooter and easier to manage because of the slightly larger size. I hope Glock releases a 365 or Hellcat competitor in the near future.
My EDC is a G43 also. There has been a rumor going around that Shield Arms is working on a higher capacity magazine for the G43 along the lines of the G48/43x magazine that they released awhile back. I’m really hoping it’s true!
I can see the plus factors of the 365 and I do own Sigs, but I am of the mindset of one system for daily carry, And I choose Glock, for simplicity and affordability.
I love Glocks. I have a G23 with a laser sight. And I carry it, but the Sig is more concealable. I can actually shoot the smaller Sig 9mm better than I can the G23 in .40 cal. But I love them both. I almost got a G43 and then found about the Sig P365 with the double stack so with the factory mag I can carry 10+1, and with the extended mag, 15+1.
I have 2 p365's. I lost mine while deer hunting on my dads farm. I bought another 2 weeks later. Finally found it 4 months later with some rust. First round didn't fire but the next 10 did. Cleaned it up and got rust off and it's still me edc. Put the new one in the safe. Love glocks also. Have a g19 and g45 for for edc and the rounds hands down to the p365.
Dang that 365 is crazy small...like Men in Black Noisy Cricket small...ill be keeping my PPS M2 as my single stack and just envy the Sigs ammo capacity from afar.
I love the Men in Black reference! The Noisy Cricket was seriously cool. No shame in the PPS and it was a favorite on the channel. Thank you as always and cheers S3421!
Yea lately ive been gravitating back to Glock. I can get them at LE prices so what do u think would be better option, keep the pps m2 w/ xs big dots or buy a 43 blue label and add taran tac mag ext and trij hd sights...i carry a 19 almost always but did carry the ppq m1 as well...i had a 43 but i remember the trigger was barf...
Tough to beat LE prices on Glocks. The PPS is an awesome gun so I'd probably stick with that but if you enhance the 43 with sights and a better trigger, it's a real contender. Without the trigger mods, I agree on the barf part. For whatever reason, the bigger glocks seem to have better triggers out of the box than at least this one I have for testing.
Yea ill just stick to the PPS. Thx KS! Hopefully by 2019 or 20 we have some contenders who can match the p365s capacity, and imo a gun in the shield pps 43 etc size...
Hi, I just received mine with a built date of January 2019 Took it to the range and had multiple failure to feed with federal HST 124 grain hollow points, the Only way to resolve the issue is pushing up on the bottom of the magazine and then the next round will feed. the magazines are also really hard to load without a magazine loader, so I guess the issues are not totally fixed need to send it back to SIG OK, update just got it back from sing today 04-26-2019 shot 150 rounds of mag tech 124 grain no malfunctions at all also shot 40 rounds of my federal HST 124 grain +P no malfunctions so I guess they fixed it😬👏🏻
Well, here we are 8-14-19 and I’m still toting my 43. I stepped on the 43 bandwagon just as soon as I could get one after they came out. It was so thin&light that I could carry it all day without feeling like I had a cinder block inside my pants. After well over 2500 rounds I can’t remember any failure to function issues. Then along came the 365... Talk about having the “hots” for a gun. Thankfully, everyone else was in line in front of me to get one because “issues “ began to surface with them. I still love the concept behind the 365 and I do think all issues with the 365 will eventually be fixed but I don’t desire one as much as I used to. I even held one in my LGS last week and all I could think about was whether it would work as reliably as my 43 has. I handed it back to the counter guy and purchased 800 rounds of ammo instead. My 43 may not be the prom queen but she sure is faithful.
Clayton U Congratulations on your promotion to SigSauer CEO! Hey Fanboy, are you guaranteeing that all issues have been fixed and there will be no more issues?
Wayne Swicegood I’m with you! Never have had an issue with any of my Glocks or S&Ws. My G43 with 2 extra factory mags is my EDC. BTW, the last time I had a FTfeed issue with any of my pistols was a Sig P229 in .40 cal.with Remington Golden Sabre 165gr HPs. Can’t trust Sig, especially how they “use” customers for their beta testing!
Love your videos, well spoken, covers all aspects and not a ton of shooting which I like. Great concept. I have watched a few times and now I am a subscriber/fan. keep the "if I could only" videos coming. well done Sir.
I’m on the waiting list at my local gun shop, really excited about the sig p365. I’m also going to buy the 12 round mag. 12 +1 in a pocket gun damn, that’s beautiful!
Well done, sir. I am sticking with my 43, as it does everything I need it to do. However, I had the opportunity to log-in a P365 at the shop where I work, and ended up taking an unofficial break on the clock while I fondled the thing. The points you made in it's favor are right on the money. It fit like a glove, the way a SAA Colt, or an 870, point like a finger, or come right up. It did cross my mind that it could be my new best friend, but I'll wait 'till the jury has no hint of a dead lock.
Absolutely outstanding review, you’ve given me a change of heart about sig! You got my sub!! I’ve always been a Glock fan, but I’m looking for a new EDC that I can carry with me while I jog. I have to say, I’m absolutely impressed with the P365. Not only is it pocketable but holds 10 rounds and you can put a flashlight on it. That’s a substantial amount of fire power, especially if you carry 2 extra mags! Sig really nailed this design, superlative engineering!!
10+1 is a dramatic improvement over a 6+1. To me that's 21 rounds over 13 rounds, since I just carry an extra mag in my pocket. Big difference. And also night sights ... Bravo Sig , bravo ,👏
You know I'm a big fan of the Glocks but the G43 is one of the very few Glocks I haven't owned. I have no plans to get one either, but I would love to get one of these P365's. On the surface this one isn't even close for me, P365 is just plain better in every aspect. Of course I am going off what I am hearing and not from personal experience. I might get the P365 and end up hating it, but I highly doubt it. Great review as usual and I think you nailed it on the winner! :D
Thank you very much Fu! The 365 really has a lot going for it. Feature rich and a great shooter. Hopefully Sig is now sending them out with the updates out of the box. I'd love to hear your opinion on them if you decide to get a hold of one. Cheers as always brother!
I'm hoping to get some wiggle room in the next few months, been buying up quite a few already this year. I will be getting one, it's just a waiting game right now.
KSGunGuy Ill wait for the bugs to be worked out, no need to rush when the 43 and Shield are fantastic options, I read Smith and Wesson sales are down and laying people off, may be able to get M&Ps for good deals. You think you would be able to get your hands on a Wilson Combat EDC X9 for review??
That makes total sense Michael! I too am holding on to the Shield. It's a great gun indeed. As for the Wilson Combat, it looks freaking sweet but sadly I don't have $3,000 lying around to spend on one gun. So... I will have to admire it from a distance. Cheers brother!
@@michaeledwards7668 I love Sig's but they have to many bugs specially with the P320 shooting themselves and now the 365 problems.. I almost got ride of my Sig's there firearms never work great out of the box🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
Good review, especially the section on the sights. Glock should install night sights on their pistols or at least have it as an option. The SIG nite sights and the new Xray sights are much better.
Funny you mention that about the p365 grip and malfunctions. I rented one recently and 4 out the first 10 rounds wouldn't go into battery. The fired round ejected and the new round went into the chamber however the slide wouldn't go all the way forward. I had to push it forward with my thumb. This continued for several magazines, but subsided as the gun heated up.
Just fired off 70 rounds in my brand new sig p365. I had close to 15 failure to battery with it. I cleaned it and will give it one more go before sending it back. But it was pretty disappointing.
@@shmuckling it's fine now. I found out from different forums that the it was the magazines being too tight. So I fully loaded both mags and let it sit for 2 weeks to loosen it up and bit and now it seems to work fine.
@@realestatekyle actually it's great now. I was reading in a forum and people were advising to fully load the magazines for about a week or so for the springs to loosen up a bit. It seems to have done the trick.
@@realestatekyle about 400 rounds. Haven't gone to the range often since this covid thing. Hoping to get back to shooting soon. Are you having issues with yours?
I just got the Sig P365 and have around 500rds down range with ZERO problems. Also got 2 12 rd mags for it which gives me 26 rds with one in the chamber, thats amazing! Im putting my Glock in the safe...
I carry G26 and use to carry my G43. I love the slim 43, but to grab a handful during practice pulls, I have to always readjust the 43. Neither guns drag on the primer, nor do the hundreds of other guns I’ve carried over the past 45 years. I believe that Sig will correct the drag issue even if it’s not a problem. My understanding is that a gun fight is less then 3 shots, 3 feet, 3 seconds and the first two shots are the most effective. I plan on buying the Sig 365 in 2 years after you guys get all of the bugs out of the tool. LOL Until then I am very happy carrying the 26 in a Vedder holster, appendix. I occasionally have to try to resist touching my G26 while out in public to make sure I wore it from the house.
William James bugs? Tell me more please... I’m on the fence, I don’t know what to carry daily, my fav glock(because of size) is the 43, i also like 9mm. But my pops was telling me a 9mm is too small and idk if I want a sig .40/.45 or my glock 43;(. Hmmm...
I have the most recent version of the 365 and it instantly became my favorite carry gun. My Glock 27 became my “keep in the truck” gun. With how small the 365 is you can’t go wrong and from what I understand the issues have been resolved with this pistol as well.
My Sig P365 doesn’t run well. Failure to go into battery, slide will not lock back after your last shot with multiple brands of ammo, the barrel and slide are beating each other up. I am glad I paid full retail to beta test it for sig. Once they figure out how to fix all the problem, I will send it back and let them fix it. All my Glock’s always run. The 43/26 are far superior.
SSM Ellis I think glock does better & longer testing than sig, evident by brand new sigs always having issues that get resolved after it’s been in the market. Glock takes a long time to come out with stuff
Great video and comparison! I really like the Sig P365 and have shot several but still have to go with the Glock 43 for reliability at this point. When Sig gets all the bugs worked out the P365 will be a great option. The 10rd capacity in such a small grip is a game changer. The 43X is nice but the longer grip to get 10rds is a disappointment. BTW, I suggest you get better ear muffs, especially at an indoor range.
Thank you very much! I think the 365 issues are pretty much ironed out but it will be interesting to see more long term studies. As for the ears, I have a second set underneath. Cheers!
Trigger is great and the capacity is awesome. My Dad and I both have one and between the 2 we've had literally dozens of malfunctions mainly failures to feed. It absolutely cannot be trusted. Mine went bye today for the Glock 43x
I had a few failures to go into battery with my p365 in the first 400 rounds, assuming that's the break in period. 300 rounds later I haven't had any malfunctions
Finally pulled the trigger and picked up a 365. The comfort, capacity, and conceal ability had me excited. Didn’t take long to realize it’s too good to be true. It’s finish and build quality is lacking. I don’t carry it anymore (after 2 weeks) and have been back to my glocks. More rugged product that holds up better even after years of sweat and elements exposure. I carry long days in the elements and for others it’s probably fine
I have both guns as well. I got the 43 first and thought it was great. Now after the p365 I think it is a much better designed gun. On the 43 the slide button has no grip, and the slide comes off pulling down the two side buttons. The p365 has one good slide button and just one slide lock button. Also the grip and slide groves to pulling back are better designed for operation. The 43 has upgrades for the slide button and bullet capacity, but I wish it was designed right first.
Sig 365 is a copy of KelTec designing. Trigger and slide stop bars held in place by the outer grip, prone to popping loose, out of place...and it's a PITA to remove the roll pin to remove the extractor for cleaning on the 365 too.
Awesome work dude! I’m definitely planning on doing the jump from the 43 to the 365 but I can’t get my hands on one. I have 7 dealers in a 50 mile radius of me looking for one. As long as the 365 is reliable, I don’t see why someone wouldn’t choose it over any of the single stacks. Capacity is king.
Thank you very much brother! Hopefully you can find one soon. I completely agree about both reliability and capacity. Time will tell on the reliability part. Cheers!
I feel the same way. I love my Walther PPS and don't feel like I'm under-armed with it, but being able to increase capacity by two rounds in a (much) smaller package is a no-brainer. The PPS 8 round mag prints pretty badly for me because of how long the grip is.
+Gordon Greeson Yeah, I'm not too excited.. They made some design changes that might threaten the amazing reliability of the PPQ that goes back to the P99.
The grip, size for concealing, and the 10+1, puts me in the 365 camp.
Right on! Thank you and cheers!

TRUE!!! DEBATING ON WHICH ONE TO GET BUT GLOCKS? 👌🏽 SIMPLE, QUICK, CONVENIENT AND RELIABLE!!! 👍🏽
Exactly. They just work with no frills and never seem to have all the mysterious issues

Me personally I prefer the g43. I look for the track record on handguns and ya can’t beat the reliability of glock. Both great guns though

How do you like the sig vs the Glock 4 years later
Did you like the P365 over the G43?
I've had my G43 for CCW about 2 years.l really like it. No complaints.
Right on! Thank you and cheers!
If your gun range or store does rental I would definitely give the P365 a try.
Whoever Sig uses as a hand model for their grip is my hero because the 365 fits my hand like a glove.
Haha! Nice. Thank you and cheers!
Mine as well
I used to not like glocks because I was 11 when I first shot one and had small hands, but now I think I like glocks more than sigs
They send SEALS into your room at night and use YOUR hands 😳...😂
That was me. You're welcome 🤓
Thank you very much and great advice! Cheers!
I finally found a P365 and have gone to range everyday since, by far my favorite 9mm. The 12 round mag makes all the difference in the world! Have owned G19's and still have G36 but Sig has taken over.
This comment aged well.
The RSO must have been a pretty cool guy to let you take two rentals at once...
Your range doesn't allow two rentals at once? That's silly.
One rental per ID. If I had two ID's I could. I was just lucky that day.
Many review are *subjective* and rate *personal preference* like:
- The plastic Glock sights are meant to be temporary. (IMO) Glock knows the first thing people replace on their handguns are the sights. Glock, Inc. lowered their pistol's overall prices so the consumer can use that savings and get their favorite sights. Smart.
- "How the Gun feels in my hand" - Those hands which no one else has the same hands (my hands are XXL)
- Recoil is more or less felt - recoil of a 44 mag. revolver can be handled by a 14 year old girl so recoil can be adjusted easily too.
Why?:
Glock was 1st to introduce or make popular:
- Hi-Cap Handguns
- Lightweight Handguns (Goodbye all-steel paperweights)
- The Striker Fire Control systems
- Commercially successful use of a Polymer Frame
- Fewest parts & inexpensive replacement stock parts
- Glock gunsmithing can be easily done by their owners
- Out of the box durable & reliable without need for custom parts
- No need for an external safety. Just grab, point, & shoot.
- Glock Inc. will update your old or out of spec. Glock pistol & magazines to the current standard FOR FREE!
- etc
*I choose the Glock 43 over all other CCW firearms.*
Love my 365. 2900 rounds and going strong. Personally, I would like the manual safety. I did change the spring at 2500 rounds-recommended. Lately, I have shot 124 grain ammo and it works great. Highly recommended!! Thank you Sig.
I got both. Great weapons. No problems with either. I mostly carry the sig (size, conceivability, mag size).
deucedeuce22oz jacksss
More capacity = more ammo = more weight
Magguts now makes additional capacity springs and follower kits for both firearms. That should be something to consider in the present day.
? why just load less bullets if you care.
They are both great subcompact pistols.
agree both are easily the best conceal carries on the market right now
If you cant decide between these two I have both and the 365 is the better of the two.
I totally understand where you are coming from and would do the exact same thing! Thank you and cheers!
Excellent, objective, thorough review. I’m 6 weeks into the 365 waiting list. Your review makes the wait more tolerable.
Thank you very much Jerry! Hopefully you won't have to wait much loner brother. Cheers!
Can't go wrong with either ones but I went with the Glock 43. Added Talon grip tape for $20 and MagGuts +2 conversion for $30. Excellent EDC.

I agree 100% Buy what you want!
I have close to 2000 rounds through my P365. I love the size, the round count, and the ability to conceal the firearm. This thing has a crazy great trigger in it. Very shootable. You can control the recoil and get right back on target. Sig hit a home run here. Top sold handgun in 2019.

I had a 365 for a little bit, it felt weird in my hand. Not uncomfortable, just weird. It also felt like a lot of plastic, super light. The 43, to me, just feels more “solid”.
I put a +2 Hyve mag extension on my 43, and I’m very comfortable with 9 rounds and spare mag.

Magguts offer a +1 follower and +1 baseplate which is smaller than regular +1 baseplates. With this you got 8 shots with almost the same size and just 2 less than the 365.

I think the rounder edges on the grip of the Glock 43 makes it more comfortable to hold and conceal than the P365, which has sharp corners on the back of the baseplate that dig into your palm.

Thank you very much scott! Always appreciated brother and I agree, it all comes down to personal preference. Cheers!
Reliability...
Small hands. More rocks.
This might be the single most helpful review video I've seen in a looooooong time. Thank you!
Great video, p365 in my stable. I still think they are both great offerings and I look forward to glocks response to the sig!
I shot a SIG P229, and it was made for my hand. I shot a SIG P220, and it wouldn’t cycle every round; and I don’t limp wrist guns. I like the design of the P365, but I also will wait to make sure they have worked out all the bugs. Good review.
Glad the 229 is running for you! Might be a good plan to wait and see. Thank you and cheers!
Glocks were the gun and had a great run but it’s time to move on. Bought a 365 today, will let you know further after 1,000 rounds.
That’s awesome Don! Thank you and cheers!
Have you gotten 1000 rounds through it yet?
Well...we’re waiting
@@Reisito3051000 rounds yet?
Let me guess the striker pin broke on you or their was a malfunction with the trigger spring should have went Glock.
Good review again. I’m fairly new to pistols recently bought a 19X and a 365. No failures yet on the 365 have had a few ff on the 19X early on. Seems to be working well now. That little SIG is a neat little gun. Love the sights and feel of the gun especially for my big hands.
Great presentation skills. This is the first of your videos I've watched, I plan to take a look at what else you have posted.
Thank you very much CC! That means a lot. Cheers!
Just bought two new Sigs over the last year or so. Both had to go back to factory for repairs. One wouldn’t stay in battery. The other came without a firing pin.
That's not good at all! I can't believe one didn't come with a firing pin How did no one notice?!? Thank you and cheers!
@@KSGunGuy01 I miss the days when new firearms were shipped with a demonstration target.
I like the G43 a lot but the p365 has got my interest. Thanks for the video brother!
Thank you very much Sonny! Both are great but the Sig is definitely worth checking out. Thank you and cheers!
The G43 is the slimest 9mm. Perfect for deep carry, with enough power to get things done.
Had the sig but it had problems from the factory. Still got my g43 no problems and I tend to hate glock.
Reliability is everything. The Sig can have all of the features in the world, but if it's not going to function, it has to lose the contest
The choice can definitely be tough. Thank you and cheers!
Have you had misfires with the Sig??
KS, must really big good for you to have some problems, send it back and still pick as best of two. Thanks as usual for all your videos, comments and insights.
Thank you NC! It really is brother. Considering all of the features and the shoot-ability, it's tough to beat. Thank you and cheers!
That's awesome! Thank you and cheers!
@@KSGunGuy01 I now actually have one
Got mine for pennies on gunbroker.com
Y’know given their size you COULD carry both 🤔😁
This here is a thinking man.
I do that and I'm satisfied with both.
@@jlinka79 I’ve watched a bunch of videos on the 365 and I have definitely considered picking one up.
Hope you threw out that holster that you lost it with!
Well said!
Love my Glocks. But have to give it to Sig for the mag capacity, optics options, and size. Can't forget the price either. It's a steal at that price.
I recently got a great deal on a Vickers Tactical G43 with night sights but the P365 would be a second choice.
Hi, I just received mine with a built date of January 2019 Took it to the range and had multiple failure to feed with federal HST 124 grain hollow points, the Only way to resolve the issue is pushing up on the bottom of the magazine and then the next round will feed. the magazines are also really hard to load without a magazine loader, so I guess the issues are not totally fixed need to send it back to SIG
OK, update just got it back from sing today 04-26-2019 shot 150 rounds of mag tech 124 grain no malfunctions at all also shot 40 rounds of my federal HST 124 grain +P no malfunctions so I guess they fixed it😬👏🏻
That’s no good at all! Hopefully Sig will make it right for you very quickly. Thank you for sharing and cheers!
The issues have all been fixed
Thank you very much Steve! Much appreciated brother. Cheers!
I’m on the waiting list at my local gun shop, really excited about the sig p365. I’m also going to buy the 12 round mag. 12 +1 in a pocket gun damn, that’s beautiful!
Congrats and hopefully you get it soon! Thank you and cheers Texan!
This is not a pocket gun! Unless u r a tall big ass mtf with big ass jeans pockets. Lmao
Thank you very much! Definitely worth a go. Cheers!
Thank you very much! I agree, the Sig really is impressive and so far it’s ran like a champ. Cheers!
I noticed that your collection keeps getting bigger and better!

I'll take the Glock in hand than the SIG in the Mail great review just my opinion.
Thank you Luke and I totally understand! Many have said basically the same thing. This is why my Shield isn't going anywhere, lol. Cheers!
Luke DAWG Oh you mean in the mail getting repairs right? Lol, it's the truth.
Thank you and cheers!
Damn! That sucks! Sorry to hear. I hate it when I get "the dud". Hope it comes back working good for you.
@@shmuckling it's fine now. I found out from different forums that the it was the magazines being too tight. So I fully loaded both mags and let it sit for 2 weeks to loosen it up and bit and now it seems to work fine.
@@dattienle37 Awesome!
That's awesome! I'm glad it's running for you. Thank you and cheers!
The Glock looks massive next to the P365. Crazy.
It sure does Triggerati! Thank you and cheers!
Excellent comparison. Thank you.
My pleasure!
@Feral Man Good luck with that.
Hmmm...
Doing the same. I'll get a p365 in a year or two. So for now beretta apx compact & ccp m2 will be my next ones
How many times did you have to send your Glock back to the manufacturer?
I am a long time Sig fan, longer than I would like to admit, so as a P365 owner I totally agree!!
Awesome Eddie! Thank you and cheers!
I love ❤️ my Glock 43
I have the most recent version of the 365 and it instantly became my favorite carry gun. My Glock 27 became my “keep in the truck” gun. With how small the 365 is you can’t go wrong and from what I understand the issues have been resolved with this pistol as well.
Right on! Thank you and cheers!
KSGunGuy you bet! Best wishes brother 🤘
Same to you Dane!
Sig 365 all the way once the bugs are squashed!!! V1 of products tend to have problems.
Well said Vu and I agree brother! Thank you as always and cheers!
SSM Ellis
I think glock does better & longer testing than sig, evident by brand new sigs always having issues that get resolved after it’s been in the market. Glock takes a long time to come out with stuff
SSM Ellis I shot a rental at the range. Had ftf issues as well.
Cheers!
"All my fingers have been circumcised"
Trigger is great and the capacity is awesome. My Dad and I both have one and between the 2 we've had literally dozens of malfunctions mainly failures to feed. It absolutely cannot be trusted. Mine went bye today for the Glock 43x
The 43X is an awesome gun. I think you’ll like it! Thank you and cheers!
Sig just like Smith & Wesson are having Quality control issues , GET A GLOCK. Just ask the Navy Seals .
I really love this series. Thanks for putting this video together.
Thank you very much! Cheers!
Great point!
The Triggerati: Have you checked out the Walther PPQ SC? 10/14 round mags and weighs 21.44 oz.?
+Gordon Greeson Yeah, I'm not too excited.. They made some design changes that might threaten the amazing reliability of the PPQ that goes back to the P99.
Keep up the great work ks...you have one of the best gun channels on youtube.
Kerry, thank you very much! That means a lot to me. Happy to do it and we have a great community of 2A supporters. Cheers!
