GLOCK 43!!!! GLOCK 43!!! GLOCK 43!!!!! Finally the perfect back-up To the 19! Thanks Eric for getting your hands on it to make this review. Goodbye M&P Shield, Hello GLOCK 43!

Robert Wilkinson Lmao no it's not. P320 is a drop firing chunk of trash and sig lost all credibility when they made what should have been a full recall a "voluntary upgrade." Sig is garbage, buy H&K or Glock.
switching the slide to a G48 slide makes this a bit more enticing to me, the G48L & G43X using a 48 & 43 is like 4 guns using only 2 guns, Legos for grown-ups.

@Colby Timothy I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and I'm in the hacking process now. Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
I have a Shield and the flush mag (7 rnd) does not "have a large base plate sticking out" 30:39. The extended mag (8 rnd) that comes with the Shield puts any size hand's pinky on the grip and it looks good too. Not like the blocky extension on most other guns. I love my G19 for the cooler weather but I don't think I'll be trading my Shield for this.
I pre-ordered Glock 43 last week from kiesler police supply $359. There not allowed to start shipping until April 10. I was excited before, but now after watching this, its going to be a long 2-3 weeks. Thanks for the video great job as always.
I think Glock missed out on a huge opportunity. Had they released this when S&W first released the Shield with its manual safety, they would sold a ton. Now that the Shield and XDs have been out for several years, there is less demand for a low(er) capacity single stack 9mm. I am really shocked Glock resisted producing a single stack 9mm for so long - disappointing.
Yes, they waited years to put out what others are doing, but they will sell a ton of these easy. I gambled on a Beretta Nano and I have to say it has grown on me. I won't be replacing it any time soon.
R.J. L. You mean the LC9s? I meant the LC9s Pro. They are hard to find. Saw one at local gun shop in GA a few weeks ago. Should have bought it. Oh well.
Awesome Video Guys! I just picked up a 43 and I love it! When you carry something on your body every day you have to like what you carry, and I love it!
Great video! I've noticed there's a certain type of person out there that watches these videos to only give negative feedback, because they essentially can't afford to buy it. Keep up the good work.
Which one do you like best? I have a 43x and absolutely love it. But thinking about getting a 43 for summer time CCW...the 43x is just fine though. But you can never have too many guns
@@whiteyfisk9769 You are right, you can never have too many guns. The 43X fits better in my hand, I'm a big guy 6'5" and 380, so I like shooting the 43X best, but the 43 hides real easy in my pants pocket even with the Hyve industries +2.
I carry the glock 43 as well I had the same problem with the slide at first I just kept playing with it and chambering it over and over to get that new metal dull and it is a very reliable weapon thank you for the honest opinion
I regret spending $360 on a Shield. Too many malfunctions for me and it feels cheaper than it costs. For me personally I will be getting the 43 to replace my shield. I do get a bluelabel discount which makes the 43 cheaper than the shield though.
Nice job guys. For sure one of your best defensive pistol reviews yet. You had everything, the long distance gong, and gel testing. You've really stepped up!
The guys that buy into the Glock hype are the same guys that buy a new iPhone...... every........ damn........ year.... Not saying I hate Glock, but I do hate fan boys that believe that everything else is crap and who think Glocks are "perfect"
Glock is certainly not perfect. But then again, I can't say I know a person that's perfect nor a situation that ever goes according to plan. Also, I don't think I've met many people that are truly capable of setting aside their preconceived judgments and egos long enough to just enjoy what they are doing at that given time and just let things happen. Just my two cents for what it's worth.
I look at it this way, if you want a good range gun, or collectible piece of history, or even a marvel of precision machining to awe over than it's far from perfect. But it's one of the best compromises for a carry gun IMHO. I'm not a huge Glock fan either. I don't think they're as collectible, nor have as much history as say CZ or Beretta, or a nice WWII relic like a hi-power or 1911, its not as good at the range compared to a SAO option like a 1911 with a nice light, crisp trigger either. But if I could only have one gun for a carry gun it would probably be a Glock as it's just a really good compromise for carry. Since I live in Canada and buying a handgun for CCW is out of the question there are many other handguns I'd rather have before owning a Glock! Again, something for the beauty, classy style, collectible value, historical significance or just as a range toy there are many pistols that are WAY better to me. Yet as a simple tool the Glock is hard to beat. I wouldn't go as far as to compare it to an Apple product. Apple products are over-priced. Glocks are kinda middle of the road price wise. I mean a nice polished stainless CZ-75B or mid range 1911 like a Sig or Ruger for example is going to cost more than a Glock. But for $500 with the good warranty service you get over the lifetime of a Glock they really aren't a bad value. I don't hate on them unless the person talking about them is one of those over the top fanboy types. The Glock is like the Toyota Corolla or Honda Civic of handguns. Nothing wrong with a Honda Civic as a daily driver if it means you can also have a classic muscle car to drive on the weekends! Guys like Eric want the Glock as their daily driver but still lust to take out that other car to play with on the weekend!
Nick Bowers yep, that's what I was thinking....when is the 30 rounder coming out for this. lol. Not a fan of Glock at all. never was a fan of SW autos at all but the Shield was tempting...bought it, and it's still my favorite gun after 2 years. Guess being close minded isn't always a good thing like many Glock owners.
Yall forgot to mention that the G42 is a U.S.A. made Glock made in GlockUSA chambered in the American 9mm, 9mm browning(R.i.P) aka .380acp, the G43 is not...... that's why I love my G42 in Tactical 9mm (my personal designation)! :) p.s. : I also love my retired police issue Glock 23! >.
Why wait to spend 200 dollars more for a slightly smaller gun with less capacity and we aren't sure if it will suck like the 42 did when it first came out.
Much rather have the sig. 4 more rounds in a similar sized gun. +2 with the sig if you use the extended mag for a size still smaller than a flush shield.
Springfield armory already had an answer for a great 9mm single stack its called XDS in 9mm or 45acp its thinner than the shield, and holds 9 rounds with 1 extra in the chamber. 10 rounds total .
I think the g43 will do very well for those who want a everyday carry handgun. I'm not a glock fan, but thats just because I am not comfortable with its safety system and I havent spent enough time on a range with a glock in my life. A 6 round mag is fine for its purpose. If I need more than that for everyday self defense carry, then I am probably living in a war zone. I believe that the 43 will be very appealing for those who want a pretty decent backup pistol, especially those who do carry a g26 as a backup and want something more compact and slimmer to replace their g26. Thanx for the upload.
darkraynjaw Want to make a wager? They'll be so many LC9, LC9S, and Shields on the used market that you'll be able to pick them up for 250$ Not because the 43 is necessarily better but because it's the newest thing on the block!
darkraynjaw well working in a gun store and seeing the stats, I can tell you this is the most anticipated gun ever. We already have a wait list a mile long. So.. actually I think they will trade em in.
had on when they first came out...loved it but alas I traded it for the G26.some years went by,LSS bright another a couple of years back. this one I shall keep
Look at Eric being one of the first to do a video of the Glock 43. Like a boss! You already got me harassing my local gunshops demanding they put on the waiting list to order one! Looks like a good sized carry pistol for Summer or Fall weather attire.
Great video guys...There are a lot of great single stack 9s out right now that I've tried and or carry but I am definitely looking forward to getting my hands on the Glock 43
So what do you guys think of the RIP ammo. I have heard from some that they do not think it has good stopping power but it appears to have good penetration from center part and the pieces which spread out seem really nasty and would do a lot of damage. Please let us viewers know.
jimbo111589 To me it's quite clear to see that it mimics the FNS-40C. Even in the NAME you have FNS-40C(3) and then you have Glock-43 but the FNS was out December and the Glock-43 is just now coming out in March. I love FN firearms. I never been a Glock fan at all.
CityofShamballah Glock numbers their guns by the number of patents they hold. The G43 was their 43rd registered patent. Stop drinking the FNS Kool-Aid.
My 43 hangs up on the feed ramp occasionally whether I use the slide stop or the slingshot. However it cycles fine when shooting. Still disheartening to see it do that. I hope they fix that issue.
Yup... No mention that the 43 is markedly more expensive than all the very very good single stack options already available? Must be brain damage from all that brass to the face...
tinncan nahhh it's about the same as the XDs, but they are both more expensive than alternatives.. Honestly if this is closer to the size of the XDs and Shield then it is too big to pocket carry. If I can't carry and draw from semi-loose jeans, it's not a pocket gun
I got my XDs for $100 less than what this Glock is going for. Normally I carry it IWB, but I also pocket carry in an Alabama holster in my front pocket when necessary. Jeans, cargo shorts, sweatpants, whatever. It's not too big.
Regarding the jamming of the slide when released by the slide lock, you might have to run a stronger spring. This is the reverse issue faced when shooting 9mm out of a Glock 21 with a conversion barrel, where you need a weaker spring.
1911: The M1911 pistol was born, unbeknownst to John Moses Browning, it would see popularity for over a century after its inception. 1990s-2000s: With the introduction of so many double stack pistols becoming widely available to the civilian market, some people begin to think the M1911 is a dated and far too undercapacity of a design with its 7 or 8 round magazine of .45 ACP. 2015: Glock 43 comes out with 6 round mags of 9x19mm, while being a thicker pistol. Funny how things work out. By the way, 147gr 9mm from the Glock 43 barrel is going less than 100 ft/s faster than a 230gr .45 ACP from an M1911A1 barrel, the slide of which it is in is thinner.
I remember my dad's first glock. I thought "plastic guns" were a stupid idea... now I own a plastic gun... (unless you are a government agent reading this. In which case no guns here)
Chad is a fanboy. I can smell it from here. It's not a bad thing, he's used to glocks. But don't talk down the proven shield, to make this mediocre gun seem better.
jimbo111589 When I hear the word "fanboy", it is usually derogatory in it's context and in it's nature, if you will. Is this how you "smell" it there jimbo? What is this word, fanboy? Do you prefer the S&W brand over the Glock brand? Does this make you a fanboy? Do you prefer 9mm over .40cal? Does this make you a fanboy? Can you see how people such as myself, will not be able to take you seriously when you speak with such immaturity? Name calling? Really? What are we, twelve? Got any hair on those peaches yet there, jimbo? See how ridiculous it is? Maybe you can come up with a new word, all by yourself. I like Glock and S&W, what does that make me there, Shirley? Know what I smell? you're full of shit! Mediocre? Now you're a freakin' psychic too? This pistol hasn't hit the market yet! But apparently, you, in your infinite wisdom, have it all figured out. Way to go there bubba!
I will be replacing my Shield with the Glock 43 for my everyday carry. The trigger doesn't compare to Glock unless of course you upgrade to the apex tactical ($150) not only that; when I need to pull there's no thought of a safety switch with a Glock. #notafanboy
Glock > Shield. Shield is oversized and overweighted for what it is, its one of the larger single stack 9's. Kahr, Ruger, Keltec, and now Glock make true single stacks, the Shield is on the large end of it. Great gun, but for 1 oz more unloaded I can have a 26.
You don't wanna know what gun is in my closet, lady. No, enough with the jokes... The gun is a day late and $200 too much. It only holds 6 rounds, so I might as well carry a revolver. Why buy the G43 for $580 when I can get the Shield for $400 and sometimes cheaper?!?!? I mean I bought a G20 10mm for less than $580. You can go to Bud'sGunShop and buy a Taurus 1911 for that price. Not only did Glock fail by being so late to the party, they set the price so high ...because they know that people have been begging for this gun. It's pathetic on their part. Then, they finally deliver and make the gun and it only holds 6 rounds. No I won't be buying this gun.
Great video guys. I had been trying to decide on what to buy as far as an easily concealable gun, and I think I just found it. I love the Shield, I was really impressed with it, and I also liked the small Ruger, but at the end of the day, I am a Glock fan, and it's due to the reliability of the guns that they make. This gun seems to be no different than the rest, in that I never saw you guys have an issue that wasn't easily taken care of. Thanks for taking the time to do a great review, and happy gunning to all those gun fans out there. We live in a great country, where we are able to own and enjoy the guns we love. Yeah! Go Glock!
Eric, Chad, thanks guys, I watched several vid's on this new little gun but none demoing it like this. The ballistic gel tests were awesome as they showed the gun has some punch. Can't wait to see your cannon back in action!! LOL
Thanks for the vid. A perfect example of why one should never get used to using the slide stop to release the slide no matter what type of pistol. Thanks again!
I own the G42 .380 bought it for my wife it's her first gun and she stands about 4"11 so it's perfect for her but for Yall who didn't know the G42 .380 has a magazine conversion kit from magguts that add 1 more so instead of 6+1 now you have 7+1 so I would imagine that they'll soon make it for that G43 9mm so 8 shots of 9mm in a pocket pistol hell yeah!!!!
"Mr. Gong", 2 liters, ballistics gel? Shades of Hickock45 and TNOutdoors9 combined with IV8888 - the best of 3 different You tubers! I enjoyed the video - you and Chad have a good chemistry together. I appreciated that you also ran several different self-defense hollow points thru the gun, along with showing their performance in ballistics gel. Nice video - keep up the good work!
Marketing success I guess. First release the less desirable pistol in .380 that only a few would by if the 43 were already available. This way, they could make those people buy the 42 that would otherwise buy the 43. Now that people bought the 42 even though they didn't want to will now get the 43 too. Standard procedure. lol Great video!
I have been trying to make up my mind between a Sig P239 and a Glock 19 for months now. Looks like this bad little baby is damn near the best blend of the two.
LOL @ 27:44, just dribbling out the end there. The only nitpick is you're not necessarily shooting your gels at standard temperature, but at least all the rounds you shot are comparable against each other. That RIP stuff looks interesting; military and trauma surgeons are going to hate this round, if only for the need to go fishing down all the side channels. Just one lucky fragment through an artery wall is all it's going to take to create some tense moments in the OR.
I have shot 50,000 rds through my Glock 43. 0 malfunctions and occasionally it will reload the mag by itself. Also it's so reliable that it keeps my other guns from having any malfs. As well
Awesome guys! It's insane that you got one of these to test before it's even out! I will be adding this to my cary rotation. Sorry to my Springfield XDS ha ha!
Excellent video, gentleman. Cracks me up to read some of the comments regarding Chad being a "Glock Fan Boy"...But, when one hits their target accurately with a gun the runs reliably time and time again, and its purpose is to protect and defend themselves and their family, ANYONE would become a fan of that gun! Your video shows that each of you shoot the gun exceptionally well. To me, why wouldn't anyone want to own a CCW like that?! Just makes sense to me... Anyway, since I've been carrying my beloved M&P Shield everyday for 3 years, I certainly hope you two will consider a comparison video of the various single stack nines on the market sometime this late spring or summer now that Glock has brought theirs to the table to compete for this very competitive market! In the meantime, keep up the good work!
Thank you for a really fine video, guys. I think this is one of your best video yet, I sure enjoyed it. You all are good guys, good shots, and good videographers, thanks for all you do.

You don't have to use the extended magazine with the Shield though (in regards to Chad's size comparison at the end). Most people would use that as the backup magazine. With the Shield's standard 7 rd mag it's just a bit taller, as you would expect. Either gun is great. If you're used to Glocks and prefer them get the 43.

I am thinking about the Ruger LC9s Pro. The trigger feels incredible. At only $375.00, it's a bargain. Plus Ruger customer service is outstanding.
***** Don't get me wrong, I'll always have my Glock 19 and 26, but for a single stack, the Beretta has worked well so far.
MGD44MAG $330.00 on Buds Gun Shop right now. Got mine for $339 at Kentucky Gun Co.
It is a gun. It makes BOOM. It sends fast lead downrange.
What not to like!?
Stefan Wolf well its a glock that just annoys some people
Idc if people think the glock is outdated, its still my to go pistol.
This feels very parallel to hickoks style of video.
*****
Yeah I am going to have to agree night and day with over all video and review styles.
Nah. Hickok never edits the video. He just hits "record" and goes for it. This is a little more polished. I like both channels btw...
how can shooting steel get any different???
quinnjim
I have heard Hickok comment numerous times about John's expert editing ability.
Difference is hicock is a racist former cop. And iraqveteran8888 is a fucking hero, shit!
Great video! I've noticed there's a certain type of person out there that watches these videos to only give negative feedback, because they essentially can't afford to buy it. Keep up the good work.
It’s November 2019 and I have the Glock 43 and the 43X. They are very reliable, and not bad on the wallet. 😉🖖🏼😎🛸
@@scubaguy007 See thats my concern, im 6' 5" with big hands too, and the 43x fits perfectly in them. Im worried the 43 will be too small like my G29.
@@whiteyfisk9769 well just get one and see. You can never have too many guns. 😉
@@scubaguy007 Yes sir!!!! lol
I carry the glock 43 as well I had the same problem with the slide at first I just kept playing with it and chambering it over and over to get that new metal dull and it is a very reliable weapon thank you for the honest opinion
Is the 26 like the same just double stack
I unsubscribed from this channel a long time ago but you guys have come a VERY long way. Picture quality, information, everything. I'm back.
So now the question is, Shield or 43? Right now I'm thinking shield based on price.
Both
***** not everyone has the cash :P
KaszanaKaszani I think he just means BOTH are a good choice.
I regret spending $360 on a Shield. Too many malfunctions for me and it feels cheaper than it costs. For me personally I will be getting the 43 to replace my shield. I do get a bluelabel discount which makes the 43 cheaper than the shield though.
Adam K oh alright
***** Glocks aren't perfect, but they're the closest thing to it..... magazine compatibility is what throws it on top in my book.
Nick Bowers
yep, that's what I was thinking....when is the 30 rounder coming out for this. lol. Not a fan of Glock at all. never was a fan of SW autos at all but the Shield was tempting...bought it, and it's still my favorite gun after 2 years. Guess being close minded isn't always a good thing like many Glock owners.
Is someone jealous.
p.s. : I also love my retired police issue Glock 23! >.
Crap I just bought a m&p shield 9mm a few hours ago I guess I should have waited a few weeks
Why wait to spend 200 dollars more for a slightly smaller gun with less capacity and we aren't sure if it will suck like the 42 did when it first came out.
Perry Hughes better for concealment than a smith & wesson shield deep concealment pistol.
I own a 26 and I will like to have a 43. Looks like a great gun.
Much rather have the sig. 4 more rounds in a similar sized gun. +2 with the sig if you use the extended mag for a size still smaller than a flush shield.
Yea but Sigs arent drop safe
Springfield armory already had an answer for a great 9mm single stack its called XDS in 9mm or 45acp its thinner than the shield, and holds 9 rounds with 1 extra in the chamber. 10 rounds total .
SO IS BASICALLY A REVOLVER???
Uhhh...Yeah! Didn't you see him loading rounds into a cylinder? And that hammer striking the firing pin...oh wait....
Imagine rip in 7.62x54R
I don't think the internet could handle that much awesome...lol
This Northern Sky Agree it wouldn't be my choice to carry that stuff.
This Northern Sky don't care 7.62x54R immediately out weighs any opinion you might have of the RIP ammo.
This Northern Sky I actually don't care for the RIP ammo either but it would do some nasty stuff to that ballistic jell if used in that cartridge.
Imagen it in 25 acp or 22lr that would be badass but in 50 cal that would be overkill
Glock 43 + vickers tactical plus 2 mag extension = PERFECTION !!
Better late than never I guess...
LOL seems that Glock has a perception that people will ditch their carry nine's for the "new" 43 . . . We will soon see :3))
Mayor Fuglycool
Mayor Fuglycool It won't happen. lol
Mayor Fuglycool
My Shield and Kahr isn't going anywhere anytime soon!
darkraynjaw Want to make a wager? They'll be so many LC9, LC9S, and Shields on the used market that you'll be able to pick them up for 250$ Not because the 43 is necessarily better but because it's the newest thing on the block!
darkraynjaw well working in a gun store and seeing the stats, I can tell you this is the most anticipated gun ever. We already have a wait list a mile long. So.. actually I think they will trade em in.
had on when they first came out...loved it but alas I traded it for the G26.some years went by,LSS bright another a couple of years back. this one I shall keep
Cant wait!
Look at Eric being one of the first to do a video of the Glock 43. Like a boss! You already got me harassing my local gunshops demanding they put on the waiting list to order one! Looks like a good sized carry pistol for Summer or Fall weather attire.
Glock HATES this video!
SuperSneakySteve I know right. I was just watching IV8888 new glock 19 gen 5 vid and heard about how much Glock hated this video.
@@BigTexasIron why did they hate it?
Taylor Phillips probably the FTF.
Great video guys...There are a lot of great single stack 9s out right now that I've tried and or carry but I am definitely looking forward to getting my hands on the Glock 43
Why would glock want this video taken down?
my reply (up)
So what do you guys think of the RIP ammo. I have heard from some that they do not think it has good stopping power but it appears to have good penetration from center part and the pieces which spread out seem really nasty and would do a lot of damage. Please let us viewers know.
It's a Glock. What more is there to say. Think I've found the next gun I buy. - dochinson
Remember the Mercedes 180? Not a Mercedes.....just in name.
avalon449 Hmmm, made by Glock, it is a Glock SMDH
Deffinetly one of those times I wish Barry were here.Would love to hear his thoughts. R.I.P.
We have a WINNER !!!!!!!!!!!!
At being mediocre?
jimbo111589 To me it's quite clear to see that it mimics the FNS-40C. Even in the NAME you have FNS-40C(3) and then you have Glock-43 but the FNS was out December and the Glock-43 is just now coming out in March. I love FN firearms. I never been a Glock fan at all.
Perry Hughes It's hard to hear their cries over the pathetic, shrill screaming of the Glock Fan-boys....
CityofShamballah Glock numbers their guns by the number of patents they hold. The G43 was their 43rd registered patent. Stop drinking the FNS Kool-Aid.
Shantra Mulani It's pretty damn obvious it's a knockoff of FNS-40C(3). No gun compares to FN dude. Probably only Springfield.
My 43 hangs up on the feed ramp occasionally whether I use the slide stop or the slingshot. However it cycles fine when shooting. Still disheartening to see it do that. I hope they fix that issue.
Love this weapon. Just got one. Glock is perfection
11:09 that has happen before to me with a Glock 19 Gen 4 why it happens bad ammo or bad grip?
Grip
Xds & shield ftw
Why wouldn't Glock make this a seven round standard mag? I guess they're just counting on the fanboys. I'll stick with my XDs.
Yup... No mention that the 43 is markedly more expensive than all the very very good single stack options already available? Must be brain damage from all that brass to the face...
Yes, XDs.
tinncan nahhh it's about the same as the XDs, but they are both more expensive than alternatives..
Thanks for the review. Would like to see comparison in slow mo of the G42 vs G43. Different in penetration.
I think im still gonna go with the shield....
Regarding the jamming of the slide when released by the slide lock, you might have to run a stronger spring. This is the reverse issue faced when shooting 9mm out of a Glock 21 with a conversion barrel, where you need a weaker spring.
If i'm only gonna have 6 rounds, why not have a .357mag.?
Yeah, I'll stick with my M&P Shield.
Great video, guys.
Berry would have been straight up!
You don't need to smell it when he says he didn't get a Shield because he was hoping Glock would come our with a subcompact 9.
jimbo111589 When I hear the word "fanboy", it is usually derogatory in it's context and in it's nature, if you will.
Good video. Good that you include the gel shots and slo-mo.
If I was gay, I'd buy this gun
So.......what you're saying is that your new 43 is gonna be kept in the closet?
TheArmedRN LMAO! That was perfect
Go home comment you're drunk...
Haha perfect timing 8888!!
Yeah! Go Glock!
Hands down this is the best G43 video I've seen so far.
BOOM! Glad you were the first to review it!!
Standard procedure. lol
Great video!
Slap some trijicon hd sights on that bad boy! Glock perfection. Great video guys!
I have shot 50,000 rds through my Glock 43. 0 malfunctions and occasionally it will reload the mag by itself. Also it's so reliable that it keeps my other guns from having any malfs. As well
Great video guys!
Hats off to a great little intro to the new g43! Glock was smart to let you roll with it!
Hey, didn't you guys put up a gun grips today? I was saving it to watch tonight, now it's not there!
Why did you take it down???
@ Scaffoldawg Since Your the Expert answer me this ? at 11:09 in this Video what do you see ? I see chad firing the Last round and the slide Not Locking Open. What doe's Glock state about the Last round being fired , is the Slide suppose to stay Lock Open ? I'm Just asking I don't know Did Chad accidentally Hit the slide Lock He state's he doesn't know for sure. also at 14:40 what do you see ? I see chad trying to release the slide with the slide Lock and then reaching with his Left Hand he try's to Pull back on the slide to release it and it Will Not release he then drops the Magazine and reinserts it into the Gun then with his Left hand he Pulls Back on the the slide Again and it Release's I Don't Know what You Call that a Problem/Malfunction ? if Chad was in a Real Gun Fight I'd call him a Dead Man What doe's Glock State on How to Release the Slide ? Mr. Range Officer : )
hello,,,,,,a 380 and a 9 mm are the same caliber........but the 9 mm has a longer shell for more powder .right?????
You don't have to use the extended magazine with the Shield though (in regards to Chad's size comparison at the end). Most people would use that as the backup magazine. With the Shield's standard 7 rd mag it's just a bit taller, as you would expect. Either gun is great. If you're used to Glocks and prefer them get the 43.
Great video guys and thank you for reviewing this gun. I was one of those screaming for this gun for some time and wrote to Glock about it. I got the shield and I have the G26, but I have to get this one! Can't wait for them to hit the shelves!
Single stack 9mm? How much larger is the G36 in 45acp? If you're going to have only 6 or 7 shots, then why not go with the larger calibre?
G36 is longer, thicker, and heavier. 9mm is cheaper, and has less recoil.
Quick question, possibly dumb. Where do you get that coyote colored War Dog shirt? Thanks if anyone knows.
Great comprehensive review... and congrats to be the first youtuber to hit with the G43... sorry to my good ol' xds9.. it will be lonely soon enough..
Does it pass the ATF's arbitrary scorecard, and shipped in from Austria, or are they being built in the US like the 42?
