    I believe both men and women need positive verbal affirmation. Each individual plays a role in the relationship; therefore, both people need to hear kind words from their partner. I've been married for 7 1/2 years, and I always handwrite or make a postcard for my husband to let him know how much we appreciate him. Honestly, I can count how many times he wrote back to me. I don't complain because I love seeing his facial expressions each time he reads my notes.
    Proverbs 16:24
    Kind words are like honey- sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.

      I don't think men understand that when they see a woman model certain behavior, they should use that info to figure out how to tend to her. Sometimes we find ourselves having to teach a man how to love us.

    It depends on the caliber of the man/woman we are with. I loved affirming my husband (RIP) and he responded in a similar way - very loving and caring. We communicated this early to each other, and it made all the difference. We surprised each other with little notes/cards. Years later I met someone who said he felt that I should just know that he appreciated me. A totally different mind set. I felt like I needed a chrystal ball! Needless to say I ended it for other serious reasons. It was an early red flag! 🚩

      I think Tony was going through something personal in this video...I love his videos, I've watched many of them. In a past video he explained that women should wait until marriage for sex and if a man loves them he will wait. He said "sex is not that serious" and he should wait. Now he's saying that basically cheating for men is natural while comparing it to a lion who hunts... Contradiction. A lion hunting is for survival not the same as cheating at all. BTW if fake lashes bother a man he should simply tell his wife. Tell her she's beautiful without it. She'll stop wearing them. Simple.

    •Don’t miss the message ladies! His message seems to be sending out a bat signal for the “pick mes” to flood the comment section hoping to subconsciously sooth insincerities and feelings of inadequacy through comparison. By stating how they aren’t like THOSE women who wear makeup, lashes or whatever else. 🤦🏾‍♀️ His message is to express the importance of affirming our men. Giving thanksgiving to their sacrifices, hard work and devotion. Natural or beauty enhancements, become intentional about showing gratitude towards a man’s efforts and actions. 💛

      I get what he is saying. It can be a similar mentality like a lot of black men from back in the day who preferably dated white women had and some still have. A lot of black men and black women who date white people feel that the white people will be more passive and giving in every way than a black or other minority person wil. And I know plenty of black men and women who date and/or marry white people

    • @Esth3rthechosenone
      @Esth3rthechosenone ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@trishmalone5639 what I’m saying is in my experience black women are not dating and actually marrying for the purpose Tony or you mentioned. It’s to actually have great relationships. If you look at the statistics of divorce rates of white men/black women vs black men/ white women that proves otherwise as well. Lots of black women simply want a happy healthy nuclear family structure that will actually last that doesn’t include the typical behavior we see from a significant portion of men who look like us. Zach Stacy the former NFL play proved exactly Tony and your point of dating out “to talk to someone any kind of way and hoping the partner is more passive”. I’m black and I don’t see a man who is at the top of society as “passive”, it’s just not true. The inflection in their voices may be different but to describe the men who on average hold more resources as “passive” just isn’t accurate. Only people who don’t understand economics would think such a thing lol. I think the reasons bm and bw date out are just different and there’s nothing wrong with telling the complete truth about it. Bw’s reasons are for security and better treatment where as bm’s reasons are normally for aesthetics and “preference”. Men lie women lie but numbers don’t. Nonetheless I still enjoys Tony’s content.

      @@Esth3rthechosenone I agree with what you are saying. But we both probably would agree that there are multiple sides to a coin. We cannot pretend that things are just One Way. As I said, interracial dating is nothing new to me or many in my family or friends and associates. As for the "white men treat you better" mentality, I say men are men. A quality man black, white or any other race will treat you well. A black man of economic means is financially stable and will treat you well too. High earning and high value of any race will give a similar experience. What you are saying does very much apply to higher educated, higher earners who Value themselves. Having more resources does not make always mean a person has higher self esteem and self value. I find that in diverse affluent suburban areas, the interracial couples are more equally yoked. I find that in the less affluent areas, you do find a lot of the Zach Stacy mindset and behavior. You also have white men who are controlling and have infidelity and domestic violence issues too. That behavior is not limited to black men as it is portrayed to be. Some black women drink that Kool-Aid because of the black men that they have encountered. The type white woman that Zach Stacy had exist too. After they sentenced him, I saw her on television saying that she did not want him to go to jail. Yes, these type relationships Do exist! Yes, there are also some black women who feel that the "black girl magic" allows her to do whatever she wants with "the white boy". There are also black women who do prefer other race men for "aesthetic" reason too. Let's not be unrealistic and deny that "light bright and good hair" IS a thing in some black people. Interracial does produce biracial children which can be a preference for some of these black women. Remember, back in the day like the 80s, 90s and before, many black women were trying to marry and have babies with the "light skinned brother with the pretty hair" like Genuwine, Al B. Sure, Prince , the DeBarges and more. Colorism and featurism IS still a thing. In any relationship dynamic, interracial or monoracial, there are going to be people who come with an agenda. Not Every person of Any race has the right mindset about relationship. And no it's not all about economics. Anyone who thinks that just because a person is white really has little understanding of what other races of people are achieving in today's world. I am not just reading statistics, I am also observing situations that I have seen and know of personally. I like that you and I can both respectfully express our viewpoints. Neither one of us is right or wrong. And I, too, do enjoy Tony's content😊

    @msvirtue ปีที่แล้ว +7

    As simple as this message appears, it's also dangerous. I am a person who affirms naturally so that's not the issue. It's the juxtaposition of affirming a man up against losing him. There is a discrepancy in the man's ability to personally hold himself accountable here. If that is not a possibility because of the difficulty then there is no need to proclaim leadership. Leadership is hard, maybe you're not there yet. Maybe there are too many husbands who haven't evolved to actual leadership verses manufactured leadership. You'd never say to soldiers, "understand that's it hard for your General to be disciplined." What do mean? Winning a war is on the line and I'm following you. If you're not capable maybe you're not ready. Find the path of your own Hero's Journey and follow it so you come out a made man who has mastered himself. If not, wives will continue to be held responsible for things God is only going to talk to his son about.

    Mr. Tony I appreciate your messages. You were the only man to express a man in his natural form. Describing both good men and bad men (grown boys). Because of you I understand a man more. So happy you continue to make videos. Commitment for men and women can be challenging. I haven't met one woman to say "Yes I'm so excited to marry this good man and look forward to washing his dirty boxers all the time". Vice versa. I have yet to hear a man say "I'm happy to be marrying the woman of my dreams and look forward to seeing her dread monthly cycles". To each situation is their own. I'm saying commitment has its challenges at times but is achievable. Look at what we go through being committed to The Lord and He is Excellent. So human to human contact takes extra strides to be committed

    9:00 another example too is as we do for our children even though we are supposed to provide for them we still want to instill gratitude in their hearts it’s the same. I was married to a complete narcissist but woman to woman you know when you have a good man. And if appreciation is not being shown I’d say resentment is in that woman’s heart and that needs to be tended to. Sometimes it’s a very specific need a woman has and feels is being neglected. But yeah nothing more important then a good man for it is from the head the oil flows. Thank you good men for being a MAN!

  • @Th3lite

    when you say "asking a man to be faithful is like asking a lion not to hunt" that's not Biblical. What you feed is what will grow, you feed your flesh it will get thirstier. it's called sustaining. Men don't resist, they don't curb their appetite. They feed that desire, that's why it's so strong. Men give themselves a lot of excuses when it comes to this area. I'm not saying it's easy, but men give themselves excuses in this area. they obey their pens. I'm not saying not to affirm, but we surely don't give women this same grace, we are hoes, sluts, lose for acting on this same nature, we are shamed. And Im not saying I want to hoe around, but could I give myself that same excuse, I could but society frowns on this for women. Lashes and cheating ant the same. Sorry Tony, love you bro, but no. Yes, to affirming your man, no pacifying cheating. It's hard for fat people not to want cake, but that's no excuse to indulge and society doesn't let us make excuses. It's indulging.

    Men have real temptations and struggles. If a man can become a soldier 🪖 up to the high caliber of special forces, a man's eyes can struggle with wondering eyes for pretty women.
    It is a real test to live for God, be set a part. There are men who will do what others won't do. Anything we need to do: weed out lust and temptation for other women, being honest, putting family first, being financially sound, showing empathy, listening, seeking God as to how to lead a family, planning dates, calling first, being a giver, not giving into peer pressure.

    This is why Christ instructs "husband's love your own wife as Christ loves the church, so much that he gave his own life for her. Wives respect your own husbands" When we follow biblical patterns and principles we will be honorable towards each other and edifying your husband will be appetizing for the wife as she will enjoy the double honor that comes with submission to Christ's Lordship and submission to her husband. As women we have to understand there is no way to please Christ while dishonoring the husband. Just as the husband is a liar if he says, he loves Christ, yet avoids the cross assigned to his life. God instituted marriage and it only works efficiently when governed by His words. Cling to the pattern!

    Thanks for the explanation in a way that is understandable to women. Makes total sense now. It’s the opposite of how women move… we do what we have to do with or without acknowledgment. Got it.

    I've heard plenty men say that if they have options, they'll cheat. I'd like to know the deep root reasons behind this (aside from their woman not being affirming). I don't hear enough people talk about being real and talking about the issues in their relationship BEFORE they make a decision, and at that point the decision should be to LEAVE the relationship, not cheat. This is why I cannot understand a person who cheats because I see that as someone who is a liar, and I do not like or understand liars (I myself am brutally honest). It must be something more than the fact that there are a lot of women available. Could it be that these people never saw two people trying to talk out their differences? Or they were raised by a single parent so therefore don't know what a healthy relationship between two people looks like? I feel like there is something deeper. Can you talk about this so that we can learn how to try and avoid cheating behaviors in our children? Thanks 🙏🏾

    • @Therealinvisiblecloak
      @Therealinvisiblecloak ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A man once told me that they have a hard time finding a woman who can be an every woman type of woman so, that is why they cheat. There aren’t too many every woman women out there. And to add to it, a lot of women get comfortable and stop putting effort into keeping up their appearance in which what first caused him to look her way. The sentence “relationships are a lot of work”, is more than just cliche. So much effort goes into keeping the relationship afloat all the while keeping yourself afloat individually with responsibilities outside of the relationship.
      Just like you have women who have multiple of men for different things.

    Such an awesome & insight message! Everyone needs to know they are loved & appreciated. We have to go the extra mile sometimes if it's not your ordinary. We have to take time to pay specific attention to our loved one, never get too comfortable, take it for granted & feel like " oh, I don'thave to say it, or show it, they knowhowI feel", Its surprising that how you think is nothing, can really be something. to someone else. To whom it may concern remember....the clean up woman in this case, (or man in another) is always waiting 🥰

    This topic is so important- you have to know yourself and be honest with your weaknesses/ being self-aware and willing to work on them in order to match with who complements you. Gain the capacity to love someone the way THEY receive love, not what’s comfortable for you; it’s not just about you.
    And love yourself. I’ve always loved my natural self - my body shape/ proportions. My skin/ complexion, my curls, my lips. I may wear makeup on special occasions but mostly I just love a bare face; takes less time😂 but investing in self love/ care is important.
    Wishing this for more women🫶🏽

      Hello🥺 I’m 23. I also didn’t have good character and didn’t know how to treat/talk to a man or conduct myself in a healthy way. I also lacked intergrity and the skills needed to have a good relationship. I discovered this through self reflection and have been trying to get in contact with God and learn to love him so I can love myself, then others . I wish to meet women like you in real life so we can inspire/encourage each other to be better women and wives .

    Awesome message!
    Giving thanks has been demonstrated throughout the scriptures. Every epistle in the NT begins and ends with gratitude/verbal affirmations.
    Moreover, if men are the head of the wife AS Christ is the head of the church and the church is instructed to fervently give thanks to the Lord, then this "call to action" is directly aligned with scripture and what we're, as God-fearing women, are called to do. (Ephesians 5:22-23; Psalms 109:30)
    (For those who don't follow the faith, the requirement doesn't apply.)

    I wish I could agree with the natural thing BUT
    I’ve always been natural, no lashes, wear my real hair and fit body. Not to mention I’m extremely friendly.
    I do not have good men knocking down my door, I never have and I’m 32.
    So if women want to do these things for themselves, I say go for it! I only attract creepy looking men especially at the gym. If I’m at the grocery store only men over 50 are looking my way!
    As far as the hair is concerned, in my opinion, black men loveeeee a good blowout/silk press. Technically yes, it’s my natural hair but that’s not it’s natural state🤦🏾‍♀️

    Tony I don’t think that at all about white men. I actually think that they are very powerful and possess resources and value the nuclear family dynamic which naturally promote submission and cooperation from women. I’ve never seen white men as weak at all. I think lots of women are realizing that some of them are actually great partners and marriage prospects. Not to exploit them or be predatory but to actually have great relationships with them. Great content by the way.

      @@ecclairmayo4153 yeah because that was really confusing. The black women I know did not get with them to “talk to them any kind of way” they actually have functional relationships, marriages, well taken care of children, assets and trust funds. That alone is going to make a woman affirm on demand and talk to him nice 😂. Tony need to cut it out with that one.
