There is a list of phones that will be supported after FEB2022 available on AT&T's Website. The Alcatel 4052R is on this list of supported phones. Is there a way to remove the 4 shortcut icons from the home screen they obstruct the wall paper. I previously owned an ALcatel 768 which also had those icons, I stumbled on how to remove them but I don't remember how I did it....

Yes, if the SIM card is the same size or you might need an adaptor.

You can use the existing SIM card, as long as it is compatible with the phone.

We went to AT&T local office today and they got us all set up. No, you do NOT have to have internet or use the internet on this phone if you don't want to. It helps us to keep the bill LOW on both of our phones monthly as we are on low fixed income budget. Thank you again! We strictly use it just for phone calls only to send or receive.

Will the Bluetooth on this phone allow it to connect to car stereo. I have a rugby 4 ( have to upgrade) my rugby 4 connected from Bluetooth to my car stereo. When getting a call in the car I answer with the button on steering wheel, without using the phone!!!!

I had written another post previously oh, but I did not get a response! That was a good video but could you please tell us if the old SIM card from the 3-g phone work on the new Alcatel phone. Did it recognize it properly and transfer all the contacts? In other words, did you manage to save all the contacts from the old phone into the new phone.? Would have liked a more precise instruction on how to transfer the contacts from one phone to the other. Could you please comment on that. Thank you and best wishes.

As long as the SIM cards are the same size then it should work on the new phone, if your contacts are saved on the SIM card then when you switch phone all of your contacts are all on your SIM. So, copy all of your contacts onto the new phone or copy to your new SIM card.

Thanks for the video. The name of the phone is ALCATEL, Smartflip..... is this identical specifically, Tio the " AT&T flip phone 4 " with 4G capability? I have another question also. I have an old AT&T flip phone with 3-g and a SIM card.-. Are you familiar with the AT&T flip phone 4 and will my old SIM card work on a flip phone 4.? Would appreciate a response and thanks again.
