Have you ever experienced your car handling differently on the Nürburgring Nordschleife compared to other tracks in ACC?
This phenomenon is influenced by various factors, including the track's unique characteristics such as jumps, bumps, and elevation changes.
However, a significant aspect contributing to this disparity lies in the car setup, particularly for GT3s, which we'll delve into in this video. There are specific GT3 settings crucial for the Nordschleife that differ from those needed for any other track.
Join me today as we explore these disparities, how they impact your car, and strategies to address them. Crafting setups for the Nordschleife demands a distinct approach, so I'll share some insights to help kickstart your setup journey on this legendary circuit.

Realy new to ACC. McLaren setup is realy good . Did 8.46.955 with it. Thanks! :) 👍
Great to hear! Keep it up. 😊
Thank you thank you thank you , it’s so nice to have a starting point with simple and clear explanations 🙏
You're very welcome!
TOP! Will use this today, see how it feels. Great WORK!
Thank you, good luck!
HDee, I've watched dozens of setup videos but yours are always so clear and helpful.
Thank you
Great to hear!
Nice video and great explanation. I've seen your other videos and you have done a lot of work, so thanks. I'll try your 2 setups. I'm playing ACC for last 2 years. I'm only an amateur but sure I'll tell you my feedbacks.
I hope you enjoy driving them, feel free to adjust to your preference though! 👍
Great stuff! thank you for this Hdee !
My pleasure!
Just did a 8:35 with the McLaren setup, thanks man setup is incredible
Thanks for this. I've only ever driven at the Green Hell on GT Sport, where it was obviously much easier to stay on track. With my relative lack of setup knowledge, I'm just struggling to even set a valid lap 😂 danke dir boss
No problem 👍
This ended my fear that I was going crazy, given how awful the cars felt... thank you so much!
Glad it helped! 😊
Hello HD, interesting vid! While I don’t play Assetto, the high aero tuning concepts you detail can be carried over to other games. 😀👍
True, it can to some degree. 👍
I do 8:20 with aggressive setup and 8:14 with old barcelona setup which i think has even more potential for better lap times if i dont do mistakes. Barcelona setups are nice, stable, fast and easy to use everywhere. Its a great starting point for tuning
I personally also like Barcelona as a benchmark track and use setups I build there on a lot of other tracks. For the Nordschleife, just because of the ride height differences, I had to adjust, but as you saw, not all that much.
Good video, for this track you need a good mecanical grip, that would ne softer than hother tracks, wich will help in the corners with roteiting a bit, i will start working on it next month wen i get back from sea 😊, have a nice they
Thanks! 😊
Great job and explanation! Is it possible to download the setup for the McLaren from Gdrive or anything else?
Good idea, I've uploaded both setups. Here is the McLaren: drive.google.com/file/d/1axXVZGaC7TYWCMRNM1RG3k-nwpDVUEKG/view?usp=sharing
I'll share both in a pinned comment. 👍
Suprised you dont have to do that much and as much setup changes to have a decent adjusted tune, given the uniqueness of nords. All the better for it then!
You can probably do a lot more fine-tuning, but it's a very decent start to do these adjustments. My biggest problem right now is not the setup though, but my driving. 😁
Great video. Why is the splitter on the bmw m4 setup set to 0 when you said it was important to max it out?
The front splitter on the BMW is not adjustable. That still shows with 0 ingame sadly. Not all cars can adjust the front splitter.
Nice video. And I'd like to ask something about Ferrari 488 evo. That car is so Oversteery to me after switching from 720s to it. Do I need to increase the front wheel rate?
Not really sure. What TC setting are you using? The Ferrari can and should use way higher than most other cars, because it's TC is so good. Front wheel rate can help, I personally would start with lower rake or higher wing though. Also depends on when you have oversteer.
i'll probably apply these into RSS GTM Aero Evo2 in AC.
Hi HDeeRacing, do you have a setup for the Porsche 992 gt3 R?
I don't, haven't driven any Porsche in a long time.
@@HDeeRacing thx anyway👍🏻
Maca Basic agressif setup 8.30 / my setup 8.20 / your setup 8.15 but now need practice for get 8.10 thanks
Congrats, good luck with practicing!
What about tire pressures?
M4 setup kinda weird at high speeds, tail just slides at schwedenkreuz and at the end of back straight. Not sure why that is
No idea, didn't have that problem.
@@HDeeRacing basically I turn in and in the middle of the turn the rear traction brakes. Maybe it's because I use 900 not 535 degrees. But still I can catch it when I know it will happen and managed to do a 8.15 which is 7 seconds faster than on aggressive in like 3 laps after using this setup
BMW setup is very tail happy
Didn't feel like that to me, but always feel free to adjust the setup.
