Very interesting HD! The number of variables is quite impressive. Definitely on another level when compared to FM. I am now getting a better understanding of the differences between a simulator and a simcade. 😀👍
It can be quite a lot in the beginning, which is why I started with the basics. There are some other differences, but yes you've seen some of the main ones here. 😄

During my trial weekends on ACC, i either used the M4 (i'm **a little bit** of an GT3 M4 fan and hope to get one in 1/43 scale this uear) or, before that, the most recent GT3 bentley (rip bentley GT3 program) and always tore up Zolder (my most local track, also visited it in 2022). Its one of the very few racing games that i know that features this circuit... pretty underrated IMO.
Yes Zolder is a great track, had a very memorable league race there with changing weather conditions. Just the first chicane can be deadly. 😆
This is great! Looking forward to your ACC driving tips! - I would also love to hear maybe your take on technique or philosophy on how to race ACC, vs for example Forza. The differences are obvious at slower speeds, but I’m curious to hear your views on the handling at the upper end of things. My hunch is they get somewhat closer, or, one or the other has a specific thing it likes or dislikes.
I’m personally not that fast with ACC but have been trying hard for a few years. As I learn I have a mini epiphanies along the way that tend to unlock the next level of speed. I can’t get the cars up to those top speeds in either game, yet, so the handling feel up there is still somewhat mysterious.. but perhaps the differences you notice will shed some light!

Suprisingly the driving in a lot of the GT Cars in Forza is fairly similar to ACC. I just feel like the cars in ACC are a bit more predictable and generally seem to have a bit more grip. At higher speeds to me it seems that downforce plays a bigger role in ACC or it just does more there. I can't take Eau Rouge at Spa flat in any GT car in FM, while in ACC it's basically all of them.
@@HDeeRacing aha so it sounds like the more complex physics allows for a more gradual transition from in grip to loss of control, maybe 🤓
I know that the air temp, density and humidity is modelled in ACC and that affects the engine performance (ref in one of Aris’s “did you know” vids) so I wouldn’t be surprised if they spent time getting detail into the aero as well, and that could be what you feel.
I feel vindicated in that Forza is indeed tricky to drive 😅

Great video I started playing just need for speed a few years ago now I'm getting Logitech g29 and looking for a good game to bring me into sim racing! This should help alot.

Tire pressure between 26-27 psi does just fine. Beginners will be pulling their hair out trying to keep tire pressures in any smaller window.

First day on ACC, and this was so helpful! 20 minutes in and my pressures are within 0.1 of 26.8 The McLaren 720SGT3 is amazing!
Love all your Forza content and your tunes! Im thinking of dabbling in ACC, do you play on Xbox? How does it run on console if you do?
I don't own a console, so no, I'm playing on PC. Runs way better than FM, as I can run higher settings and get 80-100 FPS while recording instead of struggling for 60. 🙈

I play ACC on PS5 and works well, Xbox will be ok as well.

I’m totally new to ACC, I have exclusively played/driven gran turismo, all of them, from 97, to present.
Newer thought I should play ACC.
But it actually sunk in ( this time, had it for more than two years without playing, because I didnt even understood the menu’s🙈)

Is it possible to have both, the controller, and the wheel connected at the same time? It would be much easier when you make liveries, and setups, not to do it with the controls on the wheel 🙈

To your questions: I haven't tested it, but I think it should be possible, as keyboard and wheel also work at the same time.

Biggest thing I learnt was the difference in steer rotation between car models, like 500 degrees on BMWs and up to 900 degrees on some Porsches
That's true, though if you set the same rotation ingame as on your wheel, you don't really have to worry about it luckily.

Car is the bentley. Im getting a loadcell brake this week heres hoping for 1.47s

Anyone use a Logitech g923 for ACC on Xbox? I’ve been using the McLaren 720s evo and I’m finding the wheel a little numb and lacking in FFB
I haven't, but maybe this still helps you: Apart from wheel settings (on the wheel and ingame), increasing the car's caster in the setup can increase FFB strength and feel. Maybe give it a try, as most meta setups run max caster on almost all cars.

You should be able to change camera perspective, just bind it in the settings if it's not yet.

Just a fair warning for anyone using a Logitech G29 set, your brake pedal won’t work properly on ACC, great game though
What doesn't work for you with the brake pedal? I've heard from other people that use(d) the G29 that didn't report any problems.
@@HDeeRacing it isn’t registering properly, the amount of pressure you have to apply to brake is really high. I did google it to make sure it wasn’t just me but it may be an old issue and I just haven’t changed a certain setting?
That’s a bummer, but A bunch of people in my league use that wheel and don’t have issues. (Or have solved them;) Perhaps try updating the firmware? Could also try resetting to your settings to default (screenshot current to go back) - maybe there’s one that flew under the radar, or got wonked in one of the updates. Hope you figure it out because that wheel has a decent track record with acc.
@@chocolateeteapot you have to adjust the max brake pressure in the acc settings, i have mine read at 80ish percent so that i don’t have to bottom out my pedal to brake

I’m playing on Xbox, I did purchase a DLC pack with gt2 cars and British championship cars but I can’t get any cars made after 2020. I see PC players driving the new M4 and new Ferraris, why dont they offer console players the opportunity to purchase/download new model cars? I just don’t understand why PC get all these special features and console players don’t
