It's a bit funny how you act surprised that iRacing missing new fences and stuff, when everyone knows it's an older scan. They can't run to Germany every year and rescan this massive track, of course ACC is the most accurate because they just recently scanned it
Exactly what I was thinking, I've not finished the video but it seems unfair as ACC should have no faults (except the new foxhole kerb) but I do think iracing needs a new scan as it's been around 10 years
As someone who drives ACC mainly, i'm very impressed with all of them. My guess is iracing is a much older scan, and the speaker towers weren't there when it was done, but it still holds up really well. It has a lot more and in your face graffiti, but again that's probably just what time has done to it. ACC has mostly nailed it, though one of the hills off track looked off... and since it is the latest scan, they should have nailed it. Anyway, my order... ACC, iracing, gt7, forza (because of the curbing which affects racing more than the details), though all of them are quite worthy. You really should have included AMS2 too, though...

I don't think you have the camera set as low in gt7 as you do in the other versions. Maybe try again but go with the bumper camera, or something similarly lower. Also, I think gt7 nails the trees far better than any other version. Next to the actual track itself, the trees I think go the farthest towards getting the feel of the real life track.
Considering Turn 10 has never claimed Forza to be a sim, it stacks up well against, although falling short of, true sims like ACC and iRacing. GT on the other hand falls well short of the others considering it's always claimed to be a real driving sim. The very fact most sim channels continue to mention Forza when looking at or comparing 'sims' is an indication that it has in fact surpassed its proposition as a 'racing game' at least in the context of driving dynamics and realism. Gt on the other hand falls short of its claim yet excels a 'racing game'. I'm lucky enough to be able to play all these titles and there's something great about each of them the others lack so personally I don't think there is a 'best' but just great options for whatever is important to each person.

I started sim racing on AC and learnt the Nordschleife there. Of course I also got ACC and it's version is fantastic. However ACC is limited to GT style cars and while AC modded is good, it is getting dated. I have a PC and only FM as a console port is available to me(would like if they did a port of GT7 so I could try it before making a verdict on it). So to fill a void in the meantime I also got Forza Motorsport, and while driving physics are more forgiving in a simcade, I still enjoy the Nordschleife in FM and in general the layout not so much the detail, is sufficient enough to not break the experience for me. So knowing how Kunos strive for excellence I am really looking forward to AC EVO, especially as I learnt that they are going for an in house engine(not that ACC in Unreal engine is bad, but my guess is Kunos saw limitations with regards to physics modeling). So hopefully we get the best of all worlds, that is Physics/Visuals/Day-Night Cycles/Weather and track conditions/Cars and Track selection(and if you race online, then multiplayer functionality also).🤞 I believe that I read an article a long time ago before ACC came out, that interviewed Kunos and they said ACC was part of the RD process for the spiritual successor to AC. ACC Nordschleife is the most accurate virtual track up to date. There's no doubt about it... Because it is the latest version of the IRL Nordschleife. They did scans with all of the latest implementations on IRL track that have been done in 2023. GT7 is probably very accurate but to the very old now version of IRL track that was a decade ago if not more. We need to see when Polyphony is determined to update Nurburgring to its latest version. I'm sure they polished up nurburgring with each version of the game in terms of lighting, visuals, track physics, textures etc but still keeping that original scan layout.
@@coy9958 fm is the most inaccurate nurburgring ever featured in any modern track racing game. Gt7 destroys fm in terms of details. Fm cant even get their cars to look right or accurate.
I agree, Forza has a much more natural color pallet. The others have way too much contrast and exposure...GT7 looks too clean also, no real life imperfections.
GT7 looks the worst with oversaturated colors. Forza looks pretty good, ACC probably best of all and has the best feeling FFB for communicating the road. iRacing looks like a good all rounder despite the ancient render engine. Amazing how carried away some people got with the Graphiti on the track lol.
Did you even watch the video ? ACC, GT7 are decent. Iracing and Forza need lot of work. Though Iracing kerbs are super relastic. Forza need to reedo all the kerbs pretty much, trees look greyish and the surronding also does not represent real life. Iracing too decided to do their own surronding for some reason.
10:55 "If you love the graffiti ..." => it's not about if I love it or not, I want the track to be like in real life. If there is no graffiti on a particular spot, then I don't want one added.
ACC knocked it out of the park. From a drivability standpoint ACC and iRacing are nearly identical. It’ll be interesting to see the next Nordschleife update on iRacing. Hopefully by the time we see it the graphics engine will have been update to something more modern.
If you had add a pilot and asked him to drive in all sims and in real life and he talked about the grip etc this would make more sense to me, the visuals its relative to the date of the scan.
Hey. Next time before you do this kind of comparision make sure to set proper FOV in each game. ACC on this vid has much lower FOV then real life footage and other games so everything is looking too big and too close, also distance between guardrails and track is looking bigger because of that.
To be honest, the detail comparasion against iRacing is bad considering how old the track was when it was scanned, If you wanna actually pay attention to detail, just check the dimensions of the paviment and compare how accurate iRacing is compare to the others including ACC. IRacing track's dimension is incredible, the elevation and distance seems very authentic compared to other tracks
In terms of colour realism, hands down forza wins, iracing comes close and ties with gt7, and sadly acc seems to saturated. But in terms of graphics, iracing and gt7 are on par yet again, forza I'm on the fence, at times is almost perfect (for a game) but seems then sometimes looks weird but I can point out what it is. Where as acc hands down wins this section, it just looks great. Overall though, I really can't say which I truly prefer. But if I really could only use one for the rest of my life, it would possibly be acc. This has now solidified my compulsive thoughts to complete my acc dlcs
@@peter91d compared to a camera recording nothing comes close to GT7. However what your real eyes see, in my own opinion too forza motorsport comes closer in right conditions. Sometimes also very bad depending on the conditions.
You cant really moan about missing crowd fencing from stuff scanned in 2017/18 vs stuff scanned in 2022/3 when the fencing was erected in between. The curbing is really important if you're using it as tool to learn. I personally don't use any speaker poles for breaking reference in real life or in the sims, though I know some do.... All things considered I think its nice how well GT7 stands up since release, and ACC doing a cracking a job, doesn't Iracing love its graffiti!
It is clear that the ACC is the winner. GT7 lacked detail on the outside of track, FM8 did well outside, but there's something very wrong with these kerbs and iRacing I've never played. P.S: ACC has an obligation to be the best, as it has the fewest cars and tracks, not to mention that much of the game's content is paid DLC.
Forza has the most realistic lighting by far, it actually looks like real life. Iracing looks stale in comparison and ACC looks over saturated and gamey.
@@andreasmoller9798 I noticed the other day how the dark areas such as the footwells in shadow still get realistically darker going under bridges & such, that's ignoring realistic eye adaptation. PD's lighting even as a crossGen title truly is a marvel!
ACC must be better than iRacing. It where a shame if it wasn't. Its a much newer scan and version. Hopefully, they rescan the NOS in iracing soon. Or they update the details. Good comparison. Thanks!
Your conclusion was biased. You didn't even bother to properly sync the clips. Esp. at the end. You ONLY sync'd ACC at the end to your exit footage, as if to reinforce the placebo interpretation it would naturally cause by being mistimed. Perhaps it was an unintended over sight. The editors slip-tool to adjust clips in video (sync in) montages is easily ACCessible before final compression. Perhaps You'd consider a proper re-upload with better sync'd clips, over your already fine commentary, to help support your claims. Unfortunately, i could not conclude ACC was better due to this. Other than that, nice footage!
its Obvious by the end of 1st corner which one is best !!! I think that I racing so out of date on a lot of it tracks, and considering how much it cost OVER and OVER ! they need to either change their price model or release II Racing ;)
this track is laser scann in multiple sim racing game, Iracing, AMS2, Rfactor 2, with great sansation .... multiple years ago ... i don't understand why every one is crazy about ACC. it's just an other great laser scan version on this track ... and if you say "yes but some real pilote try the track to optimise it", yes but there is not comparaison on real track and game track on the official nurburgring youtube channel ... Rfactor 2 yes.
You should have started with the time of all the scan. Iracing is the oldest, the gt7 is from before release of gt sport so before 2016 and acc an fm are the most recent
For me personally it's acc by a country mile, then gt7, followed very closely by iracing, and finally forza. The downside with acc for me is that it's paid dlc, whereas gt7 and forza it's included in the base game and that accessibility makes it better for more players, but cost aside there's no doubt acc got it nearly perfect, and the fact they can charge for it means they had to put in much more effort to make it worth the asking price Forza tries to make the course feel more exciting and festival-like, but the green hell is exciting enough on its own and doesn't need more pizazz. Imo forza should have put more effort into making it mirror the real course more accurately instead of masking its deficiencies with unnecessary trackside fluff
How recent is the real life vide The nordschliefe has had some work done over the winter with one or two new herbs and new tarmac in parts of the track.
Only question I have with this video is why is Forza's camera seems to be the only one set to "below the license plate" view? Does kinda distort what you're seeing.
Wel it is a no brainer for me - l I only have the ACC game, so the Nord track in ACC is the best for me, period. Why should I even watch the video if I don't have the other games. I don't do IRacing, Forza, or Gran Turismo games because of either cost, subscriptions, or don't have any console systems. I don't have the ACC Nord track yet, but waiting for a sale price on STEAM when it becomes available. Enjoy all the other ACC tracks and cars. I have watched allot of You Tube videos of races with the ACC Nord track and looks great. Take care.
Both Forza Motorsport and ACC look the best and has the most accurate versions. Both make GT7 look pitiful. In curbs accuracy, ACC wins. In environment detail Forza wins.

@@DCFHazardRebornChannel solid response! Thank you for taking the time to explain it to us!!!
Instead of FMS and GT you could have compared it with rf2 and am2, but ok, good job anyway
In terms of colour realism,
hands down forza wins, iracing comes close and ties with gt7, and sadly acc seems to saturated.
This has now solidified my compulsive thoughts to complete my acc dlcs
desaturated and washed out does not = realism
Forza colours are way off, looks nothing like the real footage. ACC and gt7 look the most accurate
We all have different eyes guy, this is what mine see
@@peter91d compared to a camera recording nothing comes close to GT7. However what your real eyes see, in my own opinion too forza motorsport comes closer in right conditions. Sometimes also very bad depending on the conditions.
@@Racingfan101No. Just no. GT does not look the best, at all.
I can play the track in GT7 in VR on ky console without needing a gaming PC, that makes it an auto win for me
You cant really moan about missing crowd fencing from stuff scanned in 2017/18 vs stuff scanned in 2022/3 when the fencing was erected in between.
I've never experienced ACC I racing and forza versions yet but GT7 you definitely feel the the hills while in the in car view
you need to try ACC
I'm waiting for console's to bring it don't have PC I'll have to wait for PlayStation
Be interesting to see if FM updates the kerbs like they did with the pit exit for the Daytona track. Maybe update 8 or 9?
Looks like the Forza version isn't so bad after all
...Did we watch the same video?
forza has the most realistic lighting.
@@Johnny_Thunderit dosent, gt7 has superior lighting
@@andreasmoller9798 I noticed the other day how the dark areas such as the footwells in shadow still get realistically darker going under bridges & such, that's ignoring realistic eye adaptation. PD's lighting even as a crossGen title truly is a marvel!
Yeah looked pretty good
ACC must be better than iRacing.
Iracing has somethings missing: it's fine
GT7 has somethings missing :simcade lol
Funny how some people jump to conclusions like that
I have all steam racing games with Nordschleife present. It's 14 games.
Without iRacing since I play on my Steam Deck only
I have to say , Kunos simulazioni did a very good job!
rFactor 2 is where I drive the NS, because of the feel and physics. good review but far from complete.
Good comparison! 👍
Thanks bro!
Is forza the only simcade that isn’t laserscanned?
this track is laser scann in multiple sim racing game, Iracing, AMS2, Rfactor 2, with great sansation .... multiple years ago ... i don't understand why every one is crazy about ACC. it's just an other great laser scan version on this track ...
and if you say "yes but some real pilote try the track to optimise it", yes but there is not comparaison on real track and game track on the official nurburgring youtube channel ...
The downside with acc for me is that it's paid dlc, whereas gt7 and forza it's included in the base game and that accessibility makes it better for more players, but cost aside there's no doubt acc got it nearly perfect, and the fact they can charge for it means they had to put in much more effort to make it worth the asking price
Forza tries to make the course feel more exciting and festival-like, but the green hell is exciting enough on its own and doesn't need more pizazz. Imo forza should have put more effort into making it mirror the real course more accurately instead of masking its deficiencies with unnecessary trackside fluff
i like how FM7 use vegetation like bushes ecc, looks pretty good.
How recent is the real life vide
The nordschliefe has had some work done over the winter with one or two new herbs and new tarmac in parts of the track.
iRacing is the bar a far as I'm concerned. VR ftw.
Ok so they all have parts where there good and bad, Looks is one thing the real test which more arcuate to drive vrs real life.
Only question I have with this video is why is Forza's camera seems to be the only one set to "below the license plate" view? Does kinda distort what you're seeing.
Great post good shit. I love sim racing and prefer iracing all day.
pretty unfair comparison when ACC is literally brand new and iRacing scan is years years old.
I can’t wait for Iracing nascar
ACC is the closet to real life.
😂
😂😂
Someone's not taking his meds 🤣
Hope you are sarcastic on this one Forza kid
Forza version is inaccurate gt7 and acc wipes the floor with forza
ACC but where is my PS5DLC?
ACC wins hands down.
it's a bit of a joke comparing scans that are probably 10+ years appart from each other.
A lot of the track's ben repaved the past years as well
As an xbox owner and regular ring driver... got to say ACC looks the best 😂 typical we can't have it
ams2 and rf2 missing, latter is the best I have experienced
your speaking style like motorsport commentator
Glad you didnt put Ride 5 version of this track, because the accuracy of thia track on that game are the worst even on the previous Ride game.
Every game has it soul i go with forza if they continue to make better sound, race warning flags, better penalty system night rivals and we could go on and on 😂
NordschleifE! E! E! There is an E at the end of NordschleifE!
1 month later Verstappen's 24h is on iRacing ...
can we just have blackened kerbs
this games are about driving, not graphics
Why not AMS2?
and RF2 and Iracing
Where is rfactor2?
for me ACC is by far the best version
Prediction:
ACC
IRacing
GT
Forza
Reality:
GT7
ACC
iRacing
fm
acc has the latest scan
just buyed nordschleife in ACC.
And after 2 Laps I already know its the best dlc I‘ve spend my money on. Simply Amazing
Kireth le fanboy aveuglé par le mensonge de FM8 🤣🤣
ACC is great!!
