With all do respect my opinion is that your 100% wrong on your diag only based on what I see. If what you say is true then you have 2 issues going, oil in coolant system and coolant leak at radiator (and if that was a radiator diag then that was the worst I seen, you pretty much guessed it and 100% did not verify where the leak was coming from). If it was my ticket first thing would do is check for codes, then check coolant level. Let's say no oil in coolant. then I would proceed with cooling fan actuation 1 and 2 verify proper operation. Then Fyi on the radiator cap you have a psi rating for coolant system I typically pressurize the system to what the caps says and check for leaks. also dont forget to fill system lol you have to fill coolant system to pressure test it properly for leaks. If it was just the radiator them boom. which was half ass diag and better hope you got a leak where you couldn't find it lol. But there was nasty gravy in the coolant system idk man honestly that needed deeper diag. I mean did you even check engine oil, condition, level?. I'm curious if you found gravy in the engine oil would you "flush the engine and ship it"? Lol. Like you said we all have different ways of diaging. I'm a Chrysler tech and I'm guessing you are too from the content I been seeing. and I been watching your vids for a while now your vedios make me laugh for the most part.. but I cant hate you got 20k people fooled and asking for donations lol like dam brah not makin hrs or what. Makes me want to start a channel. I would thrive at your shop Anyways you asked for an opinion much love. Again not hating but I feel like someone with decent Experience or Honest Techs in the industry should speak up just saying. Let's see if my comment survives...

Sure your comment will survive, in fact I will pin it. You touched on some good points. But you should keep in mind, Im at a point now where I want vids right at say 8- 10 mins long, possibly without leaving out important things that should be mention. Do things slip thru the crack? absolutely. Now you should also know that theres a lot of things going on thats not on camera, mind you, even still trying not to leave out basic important things,. Now, you mention that I mention "we all have different ways of diaging" I tend to say that a lot meaning the end goal should be the same. Fact is, this Jeep was done maybe a month ago, (Im a slow editor) and hasnt come back so my assumption is it was repaired properly. I would have had more respect for you had you simply added to the video things I may have left off but you go on to insinuate you so much better and that I got 20k peeps fooled (that one was funny btw) into thinking whatever, then you mention you watch the vids from time to time, curious, do I humor you or do you just like to hear a different take on things because thats why I look at other techs videos, something I may already know but just like to see how other guys do it, hmmmm. One more thing is a suggestion to you. I suggest you go for it, start a youtube channel and strut your stuff, the generated revenue stream compliments the income from the job, sure you could use addition revenue right?. Or is it the shop you at you running 100 hours a week? hmm..Anyway, I said all that to say this, thanks for watching bud,..I will be waiting on that youtube channel, you dont seem to have ANY mechanic videos posted yet so let me know when you do.

@@StatueofGuyThinking Hey bud, I have come to grips that my videos are not so called tutorial videos. I realized I have no time to lay out every detail on what to remove when making a repair. I will however try to counter that with speaking on the topic real well. I do not know the level of mechanical skills of every viewer so I decided to go with it the way I see fit and let the chips fall where they may. But thanks for watching bud.

i have a 2015 Jeep Grand cherokee V6 3.6L. Watched my water temps rise and go down as i drive uphill and down hill. Took me forever to figure out but i had to add little bit of water everyday. Engine oil was always fine.
So guess what it was, that little plastic bleeder screw ontop of the thermostat had a tiny crack and as i go uphill the engine works harder and the pressure would make it suck tiny bit of air into the system and then push out the water via the overflow tank on the left.

My mechanic told me to stay away from jeep grand Cherokee’s and jeeps in general. They have a lot of
    Cooling system issues.

I just checked a 16 Cherokee and found it was leaking in the middle of the radiator. I could just barely see a hint of pink color from coolant right in front of the fan motor and a little above. I pressurized the system with my tester and in about 20 min. the pressure only dropped 2 psi. probably from the system cooling off. I know that's a weird place for a leak since I don't think anything could have hit it like a rock or something since whatever would have to get through the A/C condencer first and that would be next to impossible. I hope you checked the engine oil for coolant because it's more likely to push oil into the coolant since the oil pressure is a lot higher than the cooling system BUT it can push coolant into the oil when the car is shut off and the cooling system had residual pressure and the oil pressure is 0. All you have to do is pull the dipstick and see if it's rusty or the oil is milky as you know but I'm saying for the average person reading this. I think there was a recall or bulletin on those 3.6 oil coolers under the manifold.

I'm here give me some time. I didnt mean to hurt the ego especially on blast on youtube it just came out that way heat of the moment but red flag after red flag. it was just my opinion. but I guess I would of felt the same way if someone called me out on my bs. It's your channel obviously but if your going to put out short videos make sure its proper short videos lmao. even if you dont go over the full repair you can still explain to the people diag and repair procedure without doing it. But u dont or didnt. you should know better people are going to judge simply based on your video, what you say and what you dont say or do, NOT what goes on behind the scenes lol people dont care to hear excuses at least I dont. And again in the vid it totally looked like you guess the radiator, when you pressure testes the cooling system with it was empty or seemed empty and you found no leak (on video) it kind of made you look like you didn know what your doing to people who know what they are doing lol. Maybe you should hire an editor to edit those mistakes with the peoples hard earned money they donate lol. And that's why I say you got these people fooled.. You mis interpreted what I mean, I'm not better than you or anyone or do I think it.. I felt it was necessary to call buLL shiet and feel like other honest automotive techs should do the same. Lol And seriously Iwas being sarcastic I'm not literally going to start a channel because some mechanic got 20k people fooled. Yall hiring? Lmao

WHAT???? You typed all that just to say you not gonna do a video and show me how it should be done??? Here I am over here waiting on ya vids so I can learn how to do it and you let me down sir..smh..That my friend, makes you appear to be just a typical bored lonely troll with nothing else to do. Tell you what, just sit back and let other content creators do what they do. In fact, theres like maybe 1000 vids on this channel ide appreciate if you go and watch them all and give me your opinion on those also, you know, watch those also and tell me what I did wrong, I would gladly appreciate it buddy. I'm almost certain you will nick pick those also but I need to know, thanks bud.

get more subs if you are more detailed in diag and repair.................time is not a problem in auto repair vids. Also, excessive movement of the camera will cause motion sickness in some people and you my lose subs. @OnlineMechanicTips
