Every year they remove something that was once standard and or well thought out, i.e., rear cup holder 2007, and now no longer standard, top cross rails 2011, rear cargo cover 2022, under seat storage 2022 and the little hook is no longer installed to hold the hatch up to cover the spare tire in the 2022.

I don't think it works on the 23 limited. I've tried everything. Most people don't really use this function but I use it all the time on my 2012 Taurus Limited. I thought I saw a video that it's only on the Overland and above trim levels. I think it should be included in the Luxury Tech group upgrade option for the price.

I bought my grand Cherokee in 2019, it’s now 2023, and I didn’t know any of this information. I didn’t even know I had compartments underneath the seats until you just showed me lol.
That compartment is filled with electronics on certain models and you can't store stuff in it. I believe it's quadra lift components.
Oooh probably, good spot for them to put that stuff though!
Yeah i have a Durango snd its filled with electronics so im not sure its quardra lift specific
Same thing with my 2019 GC limited
cool didn't know some of these so thank you very much.. espeically about the dead key fob great information
Hope you enjoyed!
Just bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2016 anniversary edition fully loaded and blacked out 😇
Awesome, congrats! How do you like it so far?
@@BJPLIFESTYLE I love it because it looks just like the 2020 and has the coolest lights with a panoramic sun roof
I've got same. I was almost going to trade it in, I've had it 4 years now. I couldn't do it.
Gotta drop a like, I learned 2 new things and I nerded out when I got my 2019…skimmed the manual and everything and still didn’t come across the 2 things I learned here
Appreciate you!
Dont forget about huge hidden storage comp on top of your USB ports in the front console.
Haha we found that by accident. My boyfriend lost his wallet and swore he put it in the dish as I call it. After searching all over car, backtracking to the store I found it when my pinky brushed it.
I thought my debit card was stolen and got a new one because I forgot I put it there one day 🤣
Once I lost an ounce of weed and found it a month later in there lmaoo
@@mikeab2871 Why drink and drive ; when you can get high and fly....
I have a 11 Overland 5.7, the unlocking button to roll down the windows does work. click unlock once, then quickly click & hold to make the windows go down until u let go. great vid!
I've owned a few Grand Cherokees: 2005, 2007, 2011, 2015 and 2022... unfortunately whoever is designing them is getting cheaper and cheaper.
My 2010 srt had headlights that turned with the vehicle. This feature was removed from my $100k + 2021 trackhawk. Pretty absurd
Have you any advice for connecting with Uconnect for Bluetooth capability? I'm having a problem connecting my Apple device that is Bluetooth enabled for some reason... If you could do a video on this that would be awesome
That's the Weed compartment, says it in the Stoners manual 😜 man I wish I would have got the Jeep with the Hempi 🤣 hehe
I am going to recommend you to everyone I know !! Thank you !!!
That driver's side bucket actually hold modules for higher trim levels
There is a preset button on the driver door to return your front seat back to a preset position rather than to always hold the seat switch back..
I just bought a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3 days ago this is awesome thanks for this Info
Congrats! Hope you’re liking it so far!
I treat my 2014 GC like it’s my child. It’s still in mint condition-not a single scratch or dent in 7 years. I always park at the end of rows and way away from other cars lol. I used to live right next to where I worked, so it only has 18,000 miles. It’s still like a brand new car over 7 years later.
What trim is yours? I just got mine (14 jgc overland 4x4 v8) 5 days ago.. already found out all these cool tricks beforehand but was hoping for more lol.
V8????
What product do you use for cleaning and shining the leather
I enjoyed the video. A couple questions. What % tint do you have?
What brand floor mats do you have?
Did you paint the rims yourself?
Appreciate it! I have 20% on the front two windows to match the back, and the wheels are painted from the factory standard on the Altitude package.
Here’s the floormats: amzn.to/34tAuLM
@@BJPLIFESTYLE thank you!
Respect RI Providence in here 🌊
Got a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland last week, any ideas on how to turn "off" the hot spot/wifi?
There should be a setting in the menu that allows you to manage your subscriptions!
The trick of unlocking the doors and holding the button down on the second click, making all the windows go down does work, on a 2022 Grand Cherokee Limited. If you let go of the button before they are completely down, they will stop at that level of opening. Good on you young man.
This video deserves way more likes.
Appreciate the love!
Some neat stuff, thanks!
Thanks for watching!
What about the manual fuel door release in the rear? Hiding behind and under the cubby on the left side. It’s a little cable that will manually release your fuel door from the inside.
Shut the front door
AWESOME!
He included that tip.
The unlock and roll your windows down does work you did it wrong. You press unlock once and press it again and hold it down.
It does not work on the 2018
@@BJPLIFESTYLE that’s weird it works on my 2011 Durango
Just bought out my 2019 Cherokee and decided to see what things I can mess with being that I'm now the owner which wasn't planned. Thanks pandemic =/ Anyway thanks for this video, almost everything you covered I didn't know about. Gonna watch some more of your videos. =)
Ok, I did. Sorry, figured kind of late that you were talking about a 2018 mode;. But thanks for some interesting features you are mentioning!
I just picked up a 2021 it’s AWESOME. ✌️
Congrats!
Thank you for this video. Helped me a ton. ❤
It works on my 2015 press unlock once then the second time you press it even a 3rd Time hold for like 3 secs it'll work let me know windows will go down
Thanjs. Few things I had no idea. Like that storage area
Thanks for watching!
Dude that's a great stash spot lol
Perfect for hiding a gallon of milk!
@@BJPLIFESTYLE it'll hold a 12 pack of sierra nevada!
You don't have that if you have quadra lift, that underseat area is for the transfer case control and air ride controllers. He obviously has a base model without the upgraded driveline/suspension
@@rabfallon4507 Yes and no. The Altitude is based on the Laredo. But it cost 10k more than a "base model" Honestly, unless you're taking it off road, i dont think you need air suspension, or drive modes. thats my opinion. i own both.
Can you sleep in the back?
And can you open the hatch after sleeping in the back? Or do you need to somehow go out the doors?
The USB inputs for putting jump drive for mp3s is the most usefull option that people probably don't use. The ubs are located near the cigerette lighter area.
FANTASTIC video
Thank you for the information:)
Thanks for watching!
I love my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the Sterling Edition 25 anniversary
Congrats!!
Very cool video bro👍
Glad you enjoyed
The best part is the old man wheeze-laughing. Hey, can you do one on Traction ON/OFF and the Sport Mode feature? Thanks.
What do you want to know about the traction & sport modes?
@@BJPLIFESTYLE I have a 2WD Jeep Grand Cherokee, got stuck with spinning back wheels on ice/slushy snow. Does Traction make a difference in that situation? ... I see that you already did a vid on Sport Mode and acceleration, but it probably doesn't make a difference if one uses manual gear-shifting to accelerate quickly 0 to 60 mph, does it?
Traction control is just going to try and keep your wheels from spinning, automatic gear shifting is generally faster
@@BJPLIFESTYLE wrong my 2014 3.6
Does 0-60 6.7 to 6.9 in manual with sport mode on i can do about 5.3 to5.5
Any tips on opening this specific car when your key is inside 😅?? The button in the trunk door doesn’t unlock it even though my key is in the trunk😢
I knew most of these but you definitely get a thumbs up for that compartment under the seat! I’m amazed I never noticed that before. :)
Edited to add: you should consider doing a video on how to disable the seatbelt beep. It’s an easy override. I did it in my 2018 JGC and never had to worry about seatbelting my groceries to avoid the incessant beeping ever again! Easily the best tip/trick I’ve come across to date.
Inquiring minds want to know how to do this.
@@robj4381
1) put your seat belt on while cars off. 2)Turn car on to run (not start, accessory run).
3)Once seat belt sign turns off, unbuckle and rebuckle seat belt 3 times in less then 10 seconds.
4)Turn car off.
5) seat belt digging should be off.
Enjoy 😉
I have to put the seatbelt on our dog to stop the dinging. She feels very important with it on.
I love those Floor and cargo mats, much better that weather tech
Me too!!!
I picked Weather Tech for the rear cargo mat because it has a lip around it and the factory one does not. However, I did buy the factory floor mats for front and back and been extremely happy with them. Overall, very happy with the Jeep GC.
Absolutely love this. I have a 2014 summit with air ride suspension and 5.7 hemi. Looking forward to doing tons of mods and hopefully make it close to a SRT
Appreciate the love! Tons of mods on the channel!
Your suspension is still working?? Lucky you....it wil cost you 4 grand when it breaks
@@mrrogerstown2435 i know right. Kinda stressed honestly. But yes working good. Had very low miles on the car so it was a good find. But so far been working well
@@collinram96 lol. Soon! Mine gave up twice 45000km and 85000km. Warranty paid for it
How do you know if its going bad? I just got a '14 and now I am worried lol
If you have the model closer to 2011 there's a button on the outside of the trunk to open just the trunk window and not the entire trunk. I never knew i had this until about 2 years ago after owning it for 8 years 😂
😯 Does the 2015 have it?
Got a 2021 Trailhawk....thing is a damn beast. Thanks for the tips!
Como la conseguiste? En los concesionarios ni saben de la existencia de ese modelo..
So, I am looking at buying a newer jeep. These things you show are so cool!
Definitely recommend it!
