If you are a generally healthy person, it’s not hard to go in everyday if you power through days when you have minor illnesses like colds

This guy is inspiring. I have a similar relationship with my sister. She's alive but I always looked up to her. Sadly, it wasn't the case for him. And he could have broken that promise easily but he was able to pull it off. Who knows? Maybe this guy might get a chance to go to Disneyworld as an adult. I'm proud of him and I follow in my sister's footsteps just like her.

In 2006 I was six years of age and my sister three years old . Today I am 19 and my sister 16, how time passes too quickly. He must of really liked his sister to keep his promise for thirteen long years, I would of had done the same for mine .
Honestly you think your kids don’t love each other but they do even though they never show it to each other because they are not used to saying nice things to each other so we should teach our kids to get used to it and even though they are not used to it deep down their heart they no that they love their sibling and would never want anything to happen to them ! I’ll never forget looking at the substitute looking down at the desk as I walked out of physics 2 hours before school ended in early spring of my senior year to skip and play disk golf with my friend, then we went back to school to pick up his brother and I got a ride home with the kid who drives me to school because they both had early leave (study hall last period) I can’t believe that was like 13 weeks ago
I too lost my beloved sister when she was 6 to a horrible disease. You need every little thing to keep going on. 30 years later I still wake up some mornings and begin setting up breakfast for her before I realize she is gone.
If you’re referring to the sister, autoimmune disease is not contagious. Hepatitis would be transferred through blood and sex only I think so the other kids are safe from getting that from her (doubt they’re having sex or making blood pacts 😂)
Yeah i guess you have a point there. Though I think a lot of people take days off from school when they don’t feel well and yet the virus continues to spread. I’m not a doctor 😅 but I think the virus is already contagious before people even know it is so it’s already out there 🤷🏼♀️ I did find an article on healthline backing my claim at least in regards to the flu “It may take one to four days after exposure to the influenza virus for symptoms to develop. If you have the flu, you'll be contagious one day before developing symptoms and up to five to seven days after becoming ill. Younger children or people with a weakened immune system may be contagious for longer.”

He must have an absolutely stellar immune system. I am not blessed with one. I was born with a condition that relegates me to frequent hospitalizations and bouts with illness. A common cold can set off a whole host of issues in my body and put me in a hospital. Growing up, that was difficult. I often missed school and it was a tremendous challenge to catch-up whilst on the mend. This young man is impressive. I wish more people kept their word so resolutely.
