Katt Williams told us how kind white folks are when you dial the wrong number 😂, I knew he was telling the truth way back then because I've experienced it several times. 😂😂 God is good!!
I'm so glad Mike kept in touch with Gladys. Older folks can get so lonely and just want someone, anyone, to talk to and care a little. What a stand up guy and a sweet lady!
I agree, no matter how I feel I make myself put on a smile and have a conversation if someone needs a chat. I’ll randomly speak to people, perfectly normal in 🇬🇧 my American ex thought it was weird 😂
I love this!! A co-worker dialed the wrong area code while trying to call long distance. A lady on the other end 1200 miles away picked up the phone. A brief "I apologize" moment turned into a nearly hour long talk. Long story short, more phone calls and now they've been married since 1981.
my sweet mother did that, but the man that answered only got angry and demanded she quit calling. She had dementia at 89 so she wasnt aware of her mistake But she knew someone was mad! I appreciate this mans kindness.
This is how the world should be, kind, generous, loving and caring. Mike you're a good person. She may have lost a son, but she gained a friend for life!
The night my late sister had her last and final brain hemorrhage, she managed to crawl to the phone to dial her best friend. But she dialed an incorrect number. The woman she got talked to my sister and got the correct number, and had her husband call my sister’s friend on another line. The woman then prayed with my sister until the ambulance came. That was a Friday night, and my sister was taken off life support that Sunday, which was Father’s Day. We never knew who that kind and loving woman was, but this happened in 1987, and I have never forgotten the woman. She has been blessed many times over throughout the years. As an aside; my sister was just 44 years old and died from a brain arterial vascular malformation (AVM). She was also an organ donor. A week later on the local news, my parents watched a special interest story wherein they talked about a 44 year old female organ donor who died from a brain trauma where and when my sister did, and how sis’s organs were being used by other people, including her kidneys going to a 15 year old girl who had been on dialysis for a while and was nearing the end of her life. We knew it was my sister who was the donor because sis was the only brain trauma patient who died where and when she did. I have always felt so proud of my sis, who suffered 17 years before she passed. I’m sure there is a woman out there who got kidneys as a teen and blesses my sis every day, the same way I bless the woman on the phone. This story on the video made me think of the good that can come when we think we’ve made a mistake, and it is a lovely story. ❤
We do live in this exact world, but the likes of Fox News and other ugly hate news feeds instilling fear would have us all believe that there’s only fear and horrors out there and to be afraid and only politicians can save us...utter bs we the people have this under control.
Not ashamed…I cried due to the beauty of this human interaction. She’s so right…if we all just took the time to be kind. The gentleman is as close to an angel on Earth as we can have! 😊
There are a lot of them. But if you consume mainstream media every day, your idea of the world gets twisted and your brain starts focusing on the negative.
I love stories like this! One time I called the wrong number at work and as I was apologizing to this guy and trying to hang up, the guy kind of struck up a conversation with me and asked me how my day was going. We chatted for a minute and as I was hanging up he said “hey, thanks for calling!” 😂 it was the best wrong number call I’ve ever made. ❤
No color. When you see with your heart we are all the same, your eyes make no difference Only two hearts, one broken and one willing to listen. One beautiful friendship ❤️🙏❤️🙏
This reminds me of my grandmother who would mistakenly call an office at the local hospital while she was trying to reach her friend for their early morning chats. I later met the young lady that always answered and it warmed my heart to hear her say 'I miss Miss Hattie's calls.' I thanked her because my grandmother said she was always sweet and never seemed bothered by the call, they would just chat briefly to make sure the other was ok and end with have a lovely and blessed day.
I am crying. True understanding and friendship have no color or bias . He could have reacted differently about receiving the wrong calls, but he did not. The world could use that dose of humanity.
Mike is a blessing to humanity. One man, making one old lady happy and bringing smiles and hope to the hearts of millions! His family should be very proud.
This lady Gladys is a gift to us all-----Blessings to Mike for being a good human being. We can all learn from this amazing story. WHERE WE TO ONE WE GO ALL
this is so beautiful! she lost a son...and God sent her someone to be a blessing to her...not necessarily a replacement, but one who could be kind to her as a son might be.
My friend's parents met due to a wrong number. I don't remember the whole story, it's been 30 years since I heard it, but they got to know each other and got married. They were married for many years until her father passed away. They were wonderful people.
This is the kind of news I like to see. Most of the days the TV is full with bad and sad news. That call was the right call to start a beautiful friendship.
Thats so sweet.. Kinda like that story of the grandma calling the wrong number to invite her grandson for thanksgiving.. She got a new quest from the wrong number; and i think he still visits on thanksgiving..
Considering my current circumstances (which I won't mention), this story of a wrong phone number connecting and becoming friends over 20 years, shows that love knows no boundaries!
If someone kept calling me by accident, I would eventually spark a conversation with them too. But clearly God made her continuously call the right person, because God worked through him to bring healing where needed. People, just be kind, gracious, courteous, and good to everyone you come across. It is important.
This happened to me. My friend Mark in Washington, he's been my best friend these last several months, all started when I kept calling and texting him trying to get ahold of a dear friend of mine. He has since become my unexpected dear friend. Kinder and more sympathetic than anyone I know. Always lifts my spirits and has blessed me so much. Yes,like a family member. Hopefully someday we can meet face to face like Mike and Gladys. God bless you both!❤
