Its a nostalgic place for me. Walked from Poondi , Poombarai Kilavarai to Koviloor near Munnar 20 years back while i was a student in TN. I would suggest same to healthy people if you want to enjoy the beauty of these villages ..get a guide and Keep walking , get required permissions from forest dept if you want to visit Berijam lake . Places are like heaven on earth .
