  • In this one, McCoy and I tackle a basketball hoop that the wind knocked over.
    We use the new CNC plasma table to burn a new flange, and then load up the trailblazer in little red to stick weld it up. Hope you guys enjoy! thanks for watching! Happy Mothers Day!

    Rad video dudes.
    Another cool feature about the packout. Is that if you have the lid down and forget to latch it, the handle locks in still and you wont have your tools get blow all over the place, if you forget to latch it. Its a small detail but I to put all my stuff in packouts. That has saved me from some messes, rushing at times.
    I have like about 6 different types. They all have groups of different things for my welding stuff .

      That’s a cool feature that I didn’t know about. Thanks for the info. I actually really like the pack out boxes for mobile welding. Thanks for watching!

      No problem, let me know if that works on your machine. I have been doing this for 35 years for a major shipyard and have not seen a machine it hasn’t worked on.

    lol " it only goes to 25 ,no you pushed something" been there ....
    P.S. the new intro is much better .still think you need to shave ten seconds but it is better keep up the good work !!.

    If you are having kerf issues on your inner cuts run them in a reverse direction direction as the outer cuts. I create CNC for a living and that’s how we eliminate that issue.

    When you get your trailer set up you should cut out a mounting plate for the pack out to snap on that’d be handy

    • @Freedomfabrication777
      @Freedomfabrication777  ปีที่แล้ว

      That would be pretty handy. Hoping I can get started on it this year.🤞🏻

    Great work! Next time, a cheap concrete grinding disk for a 4.5" grinder is like $25, if you dont use it much like me, it's lasted 3+ years.

    Special request: Can you do a Super cool tools review of that fireball scraper? I've been eye balling it, but at $65 I want to make sure it works before I ask mama for my allowance... lol

    • @Freedomfabrication777
      @Freedomfabrication777  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You bet, it will be in an up coming video. I spent like 30 minutes last night looking for it in a previous video, but I couldn’t find it, so I will definitely put it in an upcoming video. By the way, that scraper is amazing. Probably one of my most used tools in the shop. Worth every penny!

    How much is that kind of repair, I watch videos all time, nobody talks price much, we wld like to know what it pays to do this kind of repairs

    • @Freedomfabrication777
      @Freedomfabrication777  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s not an easy question to answer because there are so many variables that affect what one would charge. 1. Your location. (How far you have to travel, cost of materials in your area.) 2. Skills and ability(Someone who is a beginner cannot charge the same rate as someone who is a Journeyman)
      3. Equipment(depending on what equipment you have can affect the quality of the final product)
      You need to do your research for the cost of that type of work in your area. You should also do your research on what other welders charge in your area, and then evaluate your skills and make a judgement call on what you would charge for your skill level. This price could increase as skill, and equipment improve. Thanks for watching!

    excellent repair, top notch and professional- rebuilt much better than original. If you don't mind me asking, what did you charge for that? I'm just curious but if you prefer to keep that confidential, I totally understand.

      @@bobwolford5927 Pretty good guess! It was one of those jobs where- for the materials and the time I put into it, I should have charged them more, but I ended up charging them $300.

    • @bobwolford5927
      @bobwolford5927 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Freedomfabrication777 Actually, I was going to guess $300 even, but then I figured that putting your awesome CNC machine to use was worth $50 right there. I figured 1.5 hours of actually work time.

      @@Freedomfabrication777 Oh and I meant to ask- that’s a really nice shop you have behind your house, and I mean REALLY nice. Did you have any problems getting a permit to build it? I’m assuming that whole area is zoned single-family residential.
