I have only heard good things about Pocket Yacht Company. My research shows that they have a stellar reputation for customer satisfaction. They were however out of my geographical area for me to do business with them. Consequently, I purchased a new 2021 Ranger Tug R31 CB from Winter Island Yacht Yard in Salem MA. I can objectively say that although this was my first season with my Ranger Tug, I have been extremely pleased with her in every way. A really good quality build that did everything as they said she would. I love my Ranger Tug..!
@@PocketYachtCompany I attended the Seattle Boat Show last week. Took a hard look at it. Spoken to the boat's rep. We'll schedule finance later on... Wow. The vessel was packed with people. :)
Rob, good question! The R-27 is currently only built with the 300 HP Yamaha Outboard engine. 2017 was the last year they built the R-27 with an inboard, so you may see them on the used boat market. However, the R-29 (the next size up) does come with a Volvo D4 320 HP diesel inboard engine. Hope this helps!
What state is that? Couse all the states in America are limited to 8'6" . You might be thinking 8.5 feet ,which is exactly 8 & a half feet , which is exactly 8'6" .
@@stephendavis9290 yes if your boat is oversize, you pay for the permit to legally tow it down the road . If it's not ,like 8'6 and under you don't need an oversize permit because it is not oversize.

@@MT-ek9te Love to hear it!
Reverse transom seating would be a big plus, like on nordkapp 905. fishwell/barbque grill waste LOTS of cockpit space.
Steve, thanks for your feedback! Reverse transom seating is on the Ranger Tugs R-29. The transom seat flips to face back or forward.
Seem to be very nice ,quality boats
Thank you, Steve!
I really like the looks of the Ranger 27, but haven't seen any videos of new ones with an inboard engine. Do they still build them with inboards?

Yes,a best boat👍👍👍
Thank you for watching, Andres!
all these rangers are too wide for my states wide load limit. limit here is 8'-5" and the smallest ranger is 8'-6". is there a work around for that?
