I've always liked the R-31 design. If everything works out, when I retire in a few years, I'll be bombing around the Keys and the Bahamas in one.

Excellent video Josh! I ordered a new R-31 Command Bridge in 2021. I live in the northeast therefore my tug was delivered to my area dealer Winter Island Yacht Yard in Salem MA. After several seasons I must say that this is a fabulous vessel. The features that are Standard on this boat are incredible; bow & stern thrusters, two TVs, two Garmin electronic suites, solar panel, microwave, wine cooler, fusion stereo, Volvo-Penta diesel, etc. Additionally, I opted for the Luxury Edition with air conditioning, and generator, and dingy on Weaver Quick Release davits and a 3rd steering station in the cockpit. Bimini top, and cockpit full enclosure were installed by the dealer. My boat is as comfortable at cruising speed of 15 knots as it is when sipping fuel at 8 knots. Kudos to Ranger Tugs for building such a fine 'pocket yacht'!

very nice boat but you may want to try less jump shots in your video. i kept getting disoriented cause youre jumping around to quickly.

If you want to actually make it efficient, swap that Yamaha for a Honda.

I have to ask why do you show the R29CB in the R29S and vice versa? In case no one told you they are different boats. Don't feel to bad because Ranger Tugs does the same irritating thing.

Had heard a rumor a while back of a 35, though 33 or 36 are better numbers (laughing!)-- a larger outboard powered and still trailerable model between the 31 and 43... any merit to this? any hope it is still alive??

They could of made a reasonably priced nice little full displacement boat that was simple and efficient but no they made an expensive abortion.

for the 43 - are the props protected in anyway? Puget Sound Waters are full of logs...

Im staying with n getting a r27 fuel mileage with cox 300 diesel n shallow draft. N no freacking over wide issue st 8.5 wide. A 29 at 8.5. Be nice if longer cabin for washer n dryer. Wofe n i going do honeny moo loop out of dt marks fl. Up Atlantic than great lks to connect ing tover to Mississippi back to Gulf fishy all thr way. Too bad can get a damg blanket fishing lic for seniors all states it a rip off thode lic fees when traveling

I find it surprising that small boats can be so expensive, as I don't think they are worth the price. In fact, I recently purchased 1000 acres (which is one square mile of land) in Montana for less than 20% of the cost of that first boat.

Although the boats are nice, they are not worth their price tags.

Since I get alot of thumbs up with this opinion, I'll put my 2 cents in. I don't see any real difference betreen the 29 and the 31. Except the higher price of the 31. For me, the boats smaller than the 29, are too small to live on more than a few days. The 43 is too big to trailer and like the 31 has too many fiddly, folding contraptions on board. I WISH Ranger would make a 32' water line length boat w/ same beam as 31 BUT with a larger enclosed cabin. As you walk in from the 29 sized aft deck there could be a full sized fridge/freezer to starboard. To port, maybe a small day/guest head or a foul weather locker. The 1/2 size fridge area could be for dry goods stores. Swells on the great lakes, pacific NW, coast of Maine or St. Lawrence need 32' to have a more pleasant ride. The bigger INSIDE living area is better in the cooler climes, yet I think with the use a light materials, she'd still be trailerable (13 or 14k lbs?)

Where is the 2nd cabin? There is no TV surround sound. How many times did you say ‘ otice’? MJM has a comfy lounge chair.

Is the engine a diesel? If not is there a diesel option?

Cutwater 24 would be nice with reverseable transom seating,instead of wasting the space with such unuseable stuff

Good quality video, but needs a different focus. Not really wanting to be negative, just trying to give some creative feedback. Some amazing drone footage, and camera work. 85% or more of this video was exterior shots, and speed shots. I know the exterior very well. I know almost next to nothing about the layout. Yes. They look great, and they seem to drive well. That should be 10%-15% of this video. There isn’t a walk through clip that’s more than a few seconds long. The laundry on the 41 is cool, but that was only a couple of seconds out of 1/2 an hour. I’ve been looking for more videos since NautiStyles did a walk through, on the 41 I believe. Get them to do your whole lineup, and that would go a long way to getting your name out there. On maybe Nick from AQUAHAULIC. Let’s actually see the interior with a detailed commentary, instead of flashes of only a few seconds at a time. The quality of the video was fine, but I just turned the audio off and sped at double time just to see if there were interior shots. You got some great stock footage here. Now tie it into a thorough walk through showing each and every detail. An in depth video about 10 minutes long would be perfect in length, with about 1-1/2 to 2 minutes dedicated to your existing stock footage, then the rest as ten m to stern slow paced detailed coverage of the interior, storages spaces, and amenities.

Quite a few things missed out in this review such as the second berth and the swivel benches at the stern.

I love this mini trawler. It has just enough and not too much. I live on Lake Champlain and I’m about to retire. This is the perfect pocket trawler for intercostal cruising and Great Loop exploring for the money hands down.

Cool boat! We definitely need a full features video/demo on this one. I still think a similarly equipped Ranger 25 is a better value. Trade off is solar panel system (R25) vs auto trim tabs S250). Both are nice features, so either way you’re looking at upgrades right from the start.
