Great video! After the loss of my beloved wife I needed to downsize from my much larger trawler to something more manageable. After much research and numerous boat shows, I ordered a new Ranger Tug R-31 CB. I opted for the Luxury Edition with the diesel generator and air conditioning. Additionally, I ordered the cockpit steering station and the dingy with the Weaver Quick Release davits. Dealer installed options include two Bimini tops, a full cockpit enclosure, and hatch screens/shades. After three seasons of use here in the Northeast, I must say that I absolutely love my Ranger Tug. The Volvo-Penta 320 HP diesel is as comfortable at 16 knots as she is at 8 knots. The boat has all the amenities plus more as my 43' trawler did. Also noteworthy is the fact that the factory in addition to the dealer is always ready to answer my questions and help out. I am very happy with my purchase!
😮 I mean *WOOOOOOW* Stunning shocking, awesome out of this World pice of Art this boat is as some one that has lived in Cancún and Los Cabos for almost 10 years I never get imterested in Boats Yatch, Marine machines but as soon as I saw this on my recomendations I was trapt by the portrait and so Far looking this video I am really thinking of spend 9 Million pesos to get one of this majestic Marine Machine and I am a City boy but I easily can throw away my apartment and my Cars to have the Sea life awesome product good video and lovely Resolution and photo work.
Was on one at boat show. They try to cram too many gadgets into the boat. They need to simplify and make a good live aboard. That's what a trawler is for. Travel and livability. Just my observations.
The trip hazard of the hatches on the fly bridge is a hard fail for me. Having those there when your docking and moving around, concentrating on docking is a bad idea. Looks cool but we're cool was picked over safety. Hope there is an option to delete those as they are dangerous and unnecessary.
The placement of the microwave .. Whose idea was that ?? What about Satellite / Wifi connection which supplier do they use i never heard it mentioned !? ..
Forward bunk way to small unless you and your partner are 5'5 and 110 lbs, 32 ft boat you would think they could fit a proper bed instead of some coffin shaped wedge.
wondering about a couple of things... Does that latching system and that sliding wood section for blocking off the forward cabin cause a lot of rattling? How would the rear thruster hanging out like that stand up to salt water issues and barnacles over the long term?... extra maintenance needed over what the bow thruster gets?
175 watt solar panel won’t keep everything charged up, unless everything is turned off. Useful mainly for keeping a 12v battery topped off when the boat is not in use.
Ranger makes good stuff, I’ll give them that. This 31 seems like a boat designed for someone with no boating history who just came into a lot of money.
Most boats have about a 3:1 length to width ratio. So it’s really not narrow given its length. Plus you loose trailer ability if more than 10 feet wide
Not sure who this is really for. If you have half a million you probably aren't worried about tailoring your boat, and can go with a heavier more featured and roomy boat. I mean it's interesting just don't know who would buy this.
@@CaptRRRanger sells a crazy number of these boats. One of the creative things they do is to host boating events for Ranger Tug owners that are typically sold out well in advance. It’s the darnedest thing man. Some friends just attended the Roche Harbor event/party and had an absolute blast. Over 200 Ranger Tugs showed up for that one. They sell fun and community and it works.
"Trailerable" with a yearly permit??? I do not see a path to trailer this without a class A Commercial Drivers License too. If trailering across state lines out of the issuing state one will need to have a valid DOT physical on file also. There's also the issue of needing a minimum of a Ford F-450 Superduty or equivalent and have a custom boat trailer with a gooseneck. The trailer for this thing isn't going on a standard hitch ball. At least its not going to go very far. Strange to intentionally design and build a "tralerable" boat that is going to be an adventure into a regulatory and mechanical morass. Makes me wonder if people that can spend $450,000 for this "trailerable" boat are also aware of the $100,000 for the trailer and tow vehicle. That and an interesting discussion with their respective car and boat insurance brokers to insure that they really are "insured" to trailer this thing; all because this has too be over 26,000Lbs gross combined weight for both the tractor and the trailer. A class a CDL is required. Should this boat really be called a "trailerable"? A 40' wide 20' tall house is "trailerable".
it's to bad they went garmin, since just by having a touch screen installed they take a -50 trillion dive on quality. -50,000,000,000,000 out of 100 because of unreliable touch screens.
Interesting! Garmin are extremely reliable across the board. customer service second to none. I’m sure could have what any electronics you want installed though.

@@happychildhood591 Sorry to hear about your wife my friend. Enjoy the new boat and thanks so much for stopping by!
What a great boat. They put a lot of thought into it's design.
They sure pack a lot of features into a relatively small boat
That is a sweet little boat. Well thought out.
Really nice.
@@gekolizzard Thanks for watching. We like it too 👍
Absolutely gorgeous
Looks like a really nice first boat
Or 4th
Superb design, maximum use of space.
Wow, they sure do pack a lot into a 31' boat. Nice! It would be great to see a review of their 43'.
They are like trailerable yachts. Huge following in the PNW!
Perfect boat for fishing, I love it.
I live in the lift lock city if you know you know Ranger tug is My dream boat everything I need love to live the looper life full time 😎
Very smart design
Wow The best boat ever🏝️🤙🏽🍻
Fantastic!!!

man opened that MINI fridge and had the audacity to say "large fridge" XD
😂😂
Beautiful.
Those are pretty cool vessels.
Pretty fun boats 👍
Your awesome and awesome video you rock be safe out there
They keep their price well. 👍
1/2 mil,well up
Absolutely
Michael Scott approves of the TV.
Are there any fishing rod holders or option for a bait tank or fish hold for the catch? ?
Those propane tanks will rust in about a month once you take your first large wake over the swim platform.
Most bluewater boat propane tanks are aluminum. Just saying. This is not a bluewater boat.
dam.. half a million dollar floating rv
Nice boat. I missed the part where you said how much it costs.
If you have to ask…

how much does it cost? They never want to say.

Probably a big range depending on how you option it

Don't Thrusters need Covers when not used to save on the drag? Military and Commercial have it this way.
@@prophetseven728 Haven’t heard of that on the recreational boating side. It would sure make these things more expensive that’s for sure
@ if you are spending that crazy money for trusters. In do not think adding a door flap would be a big deal

Did i miss the Warranty part ? Construction process ?
I must've missed the engine room tour...
How much is this bad boy?
Is this model offered with dual motor configuration.
I’ll ask the guys at Ranger 👍
Website doesn't mention engine options, just the D4. Honestly cramming 2 diesels into a 10 foot beam might make marine mechanics retire
Double glazed windows? Option for thermal insulation suited for Maine? As an all year boat? Yanmar engine options?
Those disco lights...no thanks.

Not even minutes. Just a couple
Seems dumb not fun .but everyone enjoys different things .
