From one driveway restorer to another I understand the moment of having a good boss that lets you use the workshop… it’s a huge job getting poly on such a big car .. well done good to see the dog get some camera time
Thankyou Chris! Very grateful to be able to hire the booths at work and get the car done, handy having a good boss 🤙 My dog wanted a final inspection haha
Well done making 4L tin go that far on such a large car. Great product. I've used 2 and a half cans of the stuff on my XE including the engine bay and inside all panels.
The beautiful body lines on the old XT falcon you're doing a wonderful job paint has come a long way looking forward to the topcoat and hopefully some assembly content cheers
them 289 xr fairmont wagons were nice,, fords allways had nice colours,, they were mainly what the American counterparts had. Holden done the same thing. so did valiant,, they all just changed the names of most of the colours,,,.In the early 1980,s importers were bringing in 2 door left hand drive XR falcons from the U,S. back then you had to convert them in NSW,, VL 2 door commodore/ opals were common from europe. where are they all now.

Good things take time. Your hard work has paid off. Looks absolutely amazing.
I still use para glaze epoxy primer PPG protec same thing and Ppg hs primer for the Final block good to see the older falcon being done ✅
Is there a panel shop in Australia that doesn’t have a milk crate 😂. My favourite falcon the XR 👍
Is it an XR with XT tail lights (or is it an XT?). Either way, these are beautiful cars. Good to see someone else giving life back to a classic car.
XR with XT tail lights, your right about beautiful cars 👌🏻

Thankyou for watching all the vids! No repairs to the floor pan, the falcon is an incredibly solid car
I have a xr wagn that I’m restoring. Just starting following your site. Are you going original?
