I bought it on release but started really playing it a few months ago. I love it! The only problem is that it’s really time consuming but that’s the nature of these game and I love it for it!
Beta backer and still playing, off and on. I play for a few weeks/months, take breaks, but always come back. It’s the best space flight sim ever, which is what keeps me playing. These new ships have pulled me back in once again. o7
Totally recognizable, I come back now and then. But considering this channel I want to stay on for longer than ever before. It's a great game, and now there's so much to do! Excited for the future of Elite.
If you’re playing the game organically then credits aren’t falling from the sky. If you’re meta gaming then there’s very little grind now that engineering has been reworked. I agree that there should be more endgame modifications for ships. Maybe you can take your Cutter to the actual Gutamaya shipyard and pay a billion credits to have her hull mass reduced. You could gain speed, agility and jump range at the cost of lower hull points.
What a waste to put an actual industry/service system made by the players alongside the simulation to keep the economy ACTUALLY interesting... And warehouses, of course. Sick to the economy being only buy low sell high with whatever cargo size you have in you ship.

happy to hear that! :) Sometimes it does take a lot of time to get back into it for sure.
I share same feelings abut ED , it’s great game. Super chill for solo players !

I find that, with most mmo's, the economy is the problem. It's too easy to make money, way too easy.

It’s an average space game. Once it was king , but those days have passed. Blame it on the developers who killed the player base. o7
For me, elite dangerous will always be special. And the playerbase is actually still very balanced. Just a lot of new faces!
i'll stick with no man sky
