Nice! I was checking my notifications all day waiting for this video to drop to see how you went about it. I'm about to betray Germany as well in my Roman Empire run that you helped me with. I'm about 2 months away from the war justification. It's early 1942 and Germany is almost at Moscow though. I have a 24 division army of 33 width Improved Medium tanks + Mechanized + Medium Flame tank support that I saw in your tank design and template video, that will do the heavy lifting through Belgium/Netherlands. Mountaineers and General Prasca with the main Infantry, and a large motorized infantry army will come from the south like you did. It's probably overkill but I need it to be quick. In your mind, is there any significant downside to annexing all of mainland Germany here? I'm thinking about annexing all of mainland Germany, or else I won't be able to invade the Soviets later from a neutral country (puppet) unless I bring them into the war immediately. Good luck with your own Mussolini Vs Hitler hehe! You can annex all Germany if you prefer, it does not make a huge difference overall, but it will indeed impact how you play your Italian Barbarossa! Next week on Saturday I will share how I played mine (little spoiler: I went for a naval invasion of Leningrad and, for the first time, I was very satisfied with how I managed Barbarossa).
