Paradox really needs to add more content for southeast asia countrys like the philippines and Siam could be really fun edit: after looking at the reply’s yeah I agree that paradox should focus on other countries first.

Remake old European countries first, then Japan and Soviet interventions second, or Asia won't get to have any participation in big wars

This is why I use Player-Led Peace Conferences and State Transfer Tool, because the AI will actively work against its own interests. That and console commands to force the AI to release countries as puppets and clean up borders.
My least favorite thing about the new peace conferences is they removed giving puppets you made in the conference land

It *should* be Ironman Compatible outright. How could a checksum be incorrect simply from modifying NAMES of DIVISIONS? PDX has to get their heads together and actually make a game using their senses…

You should always keep your subs in a different fleet. It reduces your entire fleet because they always move at the speed of the slowest ship which is the sub usually.
6:19 instead of igniting the war so early, what you could have done is wait until 3 days for the focus to complete and then start the civil war(it can be 1 day or whatever). the benefit in this is that you and the civil war you will both complete the focus and gain(in this example) 3 dockyards, and then for every 70 days the war continues you might get more mils/civs depending on if the other half of you decides to do those focuses or not. more factories = faster build up and this is an incredibly easy way to get an extra few factories
FYI you can get those units out. You need to shift-click when doing strategic redeployment into your territory and the units will move though neutral territory.
A to Z series with historical focuses on is a blessing for historical focuses on lovers like me

I think it's a bug when you forfeit the AI won't take it either. You can forfeit from all of the contested regions and then take them on the next turn without them contesting it, weird

When you get to Japan, do a challenge where you have to conquer all territory bordering the Pacific ocean. It would be a blast watching you fight most of the major powers!

Also, by the way, invading from one of the northern dutch ports lets you ignore one of the sea regions, so you can focus your entire navy on the north sea!
The peace mechanic has been fixed with the DLC, yes, but the border gore made by Stupid ai will never be fixed

paradox needs to make it so mods that dont affect the gameplay allow achievements, with it obviously being moderated to make sure something that affects gameplay (it would have to be moderated and it would take a while to get it accepted, but it would still be cool) :)

in road to 46 mod they added quite a lot of national focuses for british malaya, i'd use that mod if i want to use the lesser known country

Paradox desperately need to fix the issue with troops getting trapped behind enemy lines - I have uncountable amounts of games ruined due to it - they should automatically just teleport to you capital if they can’t move out of the territory

Some advise for countries that Start as democracies: there is an army spirit that gives you better generals when promoting officers. But you can only get it while being democratic
China portion reminds me of a recent game I had as a warlord trying to get an achievement where everything went perfect until Japan fought tooth and nail for one single Provence and then fucked up my war with them by having a free China just hanging around. It was so annoying and I haven’t attempted it since out of frustration.

British Malaya should've been made as ahistorical powerhouse knowing how much resources concentrated over there and how much it can screw up Japan in an instant
that peace deal stuff is truly annoying, one thing i like to do with the great powers is to click 'take all' in the peace deal and then deselect the mainland stuff if i want their colonial holdings. that way ideally (if i'm the only one in the peace deal) i wont be white peacing the french in kerguelen islands or the brits in whatever patch of land they were still colonizing around that time.
There should be a feature to airlift any type of division with divisions airlifting as a researchable change my mind

Hmm this strat didn't seem to work any more. First of all, how did you get that additional CV deck slot? Its always 6 for me though. And secondly, how did you manage to get the war tension rose up past 80% by the time Poland capitulated in around Oct'39? In my campaign, Germany always DoW my puppet Netherland right off the bat since they took the 'Around Maginot focus'. Anyway amazing vid nonetheless!
