I know that when you release African nations as puppets, either as commie or fascist, you get some very over the top spicy country names and some surprisingly badass flags, but Switzerland is democratic by default and got puppeted as democratic. I made them into a puppet of every ideology before; except for democratic, since I figured that because they already start as democratic, they would stay the same. Clearly not. A very nice easter egg, I would say.

I actually did this path before I got waking the tiger. Without the dlc, it gives you all the advisors available from the start. Didn't go how I wanted it to though, went to war with the Czechoslovaks thinking the allies would let me join. They didn't. They let the Czechoslovaks in.

I saw a guy called VijoPlays who made a similar strategy but even better: he declares war on allies + austria + hungary + romania so they all go in the allies then he joins the allies and he can do the democratic anschluss (pro-german sentiment soars in austria or smtn) and puppet hungary and romania very fast
This reminds me a Democratic Germany run, I formed the EU and left the Soviets as the last Enemy and invaded with a full mechanized army. The soviets barely lasted 2 months.

In case someone doesn't know: The angry mustache model actually had plans, in real life, to invade Switzerland, and the codename was "Operation Tannenbaum", hence the song here. Also back in HOI III, you could have "Operation Tannenbaum" as a victory condition for the Axis, if you wanted, but I think it was turned off by default. Eh, it's been well over 10 years since I played HOI III, so not sure. Anyway, good video!
