2 minutes into the video and Jon has already downed 2 shot bottles of Fireball! This is either going to be a really good or really bad thing for the podcast!
Saddened by the lack of a Fireball count at the bottom of the screen.
That is why the empties were displayed on the table.
I'll have to pay closer attention to the schedule next year. Missed this. And seeing this certainly explains why Jon was a little slow to accept the mini-bottle I offered later in the con.
Man coming back to this after this year's Adepticon is so funny when Scott says he is definitely going to be entertaining something for competition lol. Good stuff wanted to rewatch to prep myself for this years Adepticon live

@@em3sis Cutting loose on one day of your vacation maybe 2 times a year is not having a problem. Jon wasn't escorted out of the con, he didn't get into a brawl, and his bedroom was upstairs. He had a little too much to drink and had a good time.
@@RoofusKit alght sir lance-a-lot calm down. didn't mean to disrupt your parasocial relationship. I don't really care if he does or doesn't have a problem but this is like his 3rd/4th live show where he is pretty messed up so I wouldnt be surprised if there's an addiction under the surface. That's really between him and his family though.

Loved the podcast Sam was great but… Jon Easy on the drink U were lost at the end and honestly I felt sad for u Scott was trying to keep it together but it felt like ur drinking was undermining the show and was a distraction

Maybe less Fireball for Conjon
Focus on gaming over painting its a lot more enjoyable to hear about.
Those guys nagging about Jon having a few Fireballs over his thirst are the sole reason why we can't have nice things.
Being on vacation, drinking with your friends once in a while, and being the dork that you are is completely okay. He is a grown man, and if this episode is not your cup of preferred beverage, there is a lot of YT here that you can find to suit your needs.
If I were in the position of Jon and Scott, I would have this kind of episode solely offline for the people who were there. Without it appearing on YT or other platforms.
Keep up your great work. This episode was really entertaining and as someone who was not able to be there as I am from Germany I really enjoyed getting a glimpse at Adepticon and my share of hanging out with the goody peepees and dewsuckers. Stay the way you are, don't let naggers get their way.

Watching this whole show, this is what caused Ninjon his disappointment at not winning a GD. People there were over-hyping his chances of winning. Having been in the hobby for 30 years, I can honestly say the piece wasn't good enough. The dark side didn't translate well, the trees were ignored, and there was no real story being told. Where you focused your time, the fronts, was fantastic. Maybe next time do a smaller piece where the whole piece gets the "front" treatment? I'm certain next GD you'll come out with a trophy.
Some of the comments here are a little negative about Jons behaviour. They’re talking about the last half hour when the booze hits him hard. Their is nothing wrong with having fun. It’s tough to talk in front of a large crowd. It’s most people number one fear. Never use booze as a crutch to handle nerves and anxiety. Be kind on the internet.
Very important last sentence. It’s hardly ever a bad idea.
Jon seems a little far in at this point

I know Jon is playing into his Conjon personality a little and I don't want to tell other people how to live or what to do, but as a viewer and long time listener, Jon's drunkenness to the point he forgets how to end the podcast is a bit disappointing. This doesn't even feel like he's okay. I think he was stressed about everything related to his piece and whatnot, but 600mL of "whiskey" in 90 minutes...
Jon's drinking is a bit much, I know they're at a con but his drunken rambling and constant messing with the bottles is distracting, tbh. I honestly just kinda feel bad for Scott because it feels like he is having to carry the entire thing on his own. There's a time for drunken rants but maybe this isn't one of those times. There are some great questions being asked and Scott is a really insightful guy only to have Jon kind of drunkenly upstaging everything for what reason exactly? Some sort of early-days rooster teeth-esque "bad boy" clout? That's how it comes across and it's disappointing.
I put it on being nervous to being in front of so many people. Its the worse tactic to choose but many make that mistake in the first years of being successfull on stage. But i am totally with you the slurring is a bit too obvious.
Oh no. Jon doesn't have to work as hard as he usually does one day out of the year? He constantly carries the fucking podcast because he paints about 9× more models on trapped under plastic. The fuck are you babbling about? He carries this entire podcast every other day. You clearly aren't paying attention here.
All I saw was an adult doing adult things and providing content and entertainment for free, btw. The guy puts out so much content and again, free, btw, i feel like he can enjoy himself. He's at a convention, with friends and people he doesn't get to see often, hes having a good time. The con isn't a job, hes not being paid to be there. Its a vacation where he can be silly. Why a handful of people fail to realize that is beyond me.
All the negative comments about Jon is sickening. He worked hard on his project and it was there in the case and he feels pressured to win a golden demon, it was probably winding up all of that and having fun with his friends. Seriously, get a life and mind your own business

Yeesh, a bit extreme. I was here for this and Jon was super stressed about his Golden Demon entry and also sleep deprived from working on it for the weeks and days leading up to the event. He finally was letting himself relax.
These guys are on vacation and letting loose. It is what it is and maybe you've gotta be there, but it wasn't obnoxious because a third of the audience had a drink in their hands. It was also filmed at like 9 or 10pm.
