Also, congratulations on the addition to your family!
Hope you both enjoyed your holiday here in the States. I also hope that you were able to go target shooting with the TUP boys and they were not just teasing you and us about it.

There's nothing better than getting a HUGE whiteboard and writing all your tasks on it. And then zealously sticking to that list. You'll find you end up with more time left over if you become blinkered except for the immediate task. The things that appear to be screaming for attention are often just our perception of what's important but are enemies of efficiency and can wait a few hours until you've smashed the current tasks.

Scott’s description of the troubles of being a human adult at 1:37:15 really spoke to me. Procrastination and issues focusing and prioritising I feel are so much harder in the modern world. You aren’t alone in your struggles guys!

Good on you for hosting @Broadsword Wargaming! I've always a blast watching Ollie & Clara and I applaud their efforts to make a difference in our nerdy and sweaty space. Still waiting for an episode with @Kirioth though!
PS; Never took Clara for an Iron Warriors fan. Good for her to have a proper taste in Heresy!

Scott needs to say everything GW is wonderful, so he can get time off for good behavior from his exile. Say things like "I don't mind new models always being overpowered!" and "Man these Word Bearers are totally believable as characters, I mean, you sometimes want to moustache twirl!".

Fantastic episode, so funny. Ollie/Ciara are such a great couple and they just are so open and honest about what's going on about them. I think this openness leads to a great interview as Scott found a lot in common?, talking helps as we realise that other people are going through the same day to day problems and its good to share. And you guys should come to Ireland.

The discounting on their own site thing happened in the RC hobby a while ago, and I think a ton of stores ended up refusing to sell such and such brand anymore until they instituted a minimum online price that they (and other online retailers) couldn't go below so that all the hobby shops wouldn't die off. I think it worked because of what you're saying, most of their sales were thru local shops and not online.

When I was ordering for our FLGS, Osprey and Warlord would kill us. Osprey would sell you something at wholesale, and then put it on sale on their own site for close to or less than wholesale. Warlord did everything bad to us they could in less than a year. They also had direct super sales. They shorted us. They spread out shipments and charged big shipping fees on each shipment. We sold a lot, and made no money.
We dropped both lines. I still avoid Warlord out of some sort of sympathy for stores.

Asmodee might even get a bit worse at some point if their parent company Embracer Group (of game publisher/developer hoarding fame) keeps laying people and developers etc. off as their Saudi deals fell on their face recently.
Embracer owns massive amount of game devs as they bought everything under the sun over the years, like Amplifier Game Invest, Asmodee, CDE Entertainment, Coffee Stain Holding, Dark Horse Media, DECA Games, Easybrain, Embracer Freemode, Middle-earth Enterprises, Gearbox Entertainment (dev of Borderlands, publisher of Remnant 2 etc.), Plaion (ex-Koch Media and operator of Deep Silver who made Payday 3, Dead Island 2), Saber Interactive (developer of Space Marine 2 and Snowrunner), and THQ Nordic.

Title: Joe Biden Made My Kid Cry at Walmart, but I Kicked His Ass with My Patronus and Harry Potter Magic! In a bizarre encounter at Walmart, my child's innocent trip turned into a distressing incident with none other than Joe Biden. As fate would have it, Joe Biden decided to sniff my kid's hair, sending shivers down their spine and causing them to burst into tears. It was an unsettling moment, to say the least. However, realizing I had to protect my child from such invasive behavior, my inner wizard came to the rescue. Channeling my inner Harry Potter, I summoned my powerful Patronus, ready to defend against any threat. With a flick of my wand and a forceful shout, I confronted Mr. Biden, determined to teach him a lesson. The magical energy surged through me as I summoned all the strength I could muster. Biden had no idea what was about to hit him. To his surprise (and mine), my Patronus transformed into a majestic phoenix, soaring high above, illuminating the store with its enchanting light. The sight of my powerful Patronus, combined with my unwavering determination, sent a clear message to Biden. He was taken aback, and I could see his regret mingling with a newfound understanding of personal boundaries. This unexpected turn of events not only astonished the onlookers but ensured that my child would never have to go through such a distressing encounter again. And as we left the situation behind, we walked away with the triumph of magic over invasion of personal space.
