The 2024 Nissan Z NISMO, representing Nissan Motorsports, offers significant enhancements over its predecessors, making it a quicker and more track-focused sports car. This model boasts an increase of 20 horsepower and 34 pound-feet of torque, attributable to modifications in the electronic wastegate of the turbocharger and improved cooling systems, including a new engine oil cooler. Despite its appeal and technological advancements, the car's sales were limited, with none sold in its debut year (2022) and only 500 in the following quarter, due to production issues in Japan. However, with these improvements, particularly the adoption of technology from the GTR NISMO, the 2024 Nissan Z NISMO is expected to justify the wait and its significantly higher price.

It’s such a good looking car, too bad Nissan didn’t have the money to develop it more, (lighter newer chassis, trans, suspension). The Nismo is what should have been the Sport Edition on the regular model….Then develop a Nismo from there.

Unfortunately, Zs have always followed the same pattern. Underwhelming base model, and a really good nismo.

the burble and pops are in cabin sound effects when in sport+ the NISMO uses the same exhaust as the automatic performance Z

Yeah they also sell a separate nismo exhaust which is a Borla attack. Should’ve been that from factory.

Nissan, PLEASE don’t screw up the Z NISMO RS if you ever decide to build it. Offer an improved 6spd manual and GT4 RS styling and you’ll sell every single one.

Sport MAXX is a subbrand of Dunlop. Potenza is a subbrand of Bridgestone.
The info you gave on the tyres is basically like saying this is a Nissan Nismo with mentioning it's a Z.
Its nice in future if you actually mentioned the tyres rather then just they changed brands.

I've seen them. They are in the high $60k range and all automatic. Nope, I already have an automatic 370Z so to me this is not much of an upgrade. Looking at the GTR now.

Major orange peel on the paint. Is this a pre-pro press car?

This review was way too nice. The Z NISMO is a failure on every level just like the "new" Z failed. It is basically a disappointing 20 horsepower and 2.5% more stiffness and some extra body bits for $12,000 more than the Performance trim. Even this top trim cannot beat a Supra 3.0 in a straight line or at the track and the gap will be even larger with the upcoming GRMN Supra.
Lastly, this car is marked up above $80,000. Anyone who buys this substandard car instead of the M2, RS3, or Cayman for the same price is an absolute fool.
