"That means you'll only feel the difference when cornering with anything less than full throttle" - I don't think that's the case, I think you misinterpreted what was said. "They said that the latest torque vectoring system isn't designed to work with full throttle in a straight line" - I interpret this to mean that full throttle in a corner, it still works. Which would be in line with how the previous torque vectoring system worked... essentially the bias is only applied when you're turning the steering wheel, the rest of the time both motors are used, which would explain why you felt a power difference when cornering but not when you measured the 0-60.

The performance has Panasonic batteries which actually charges faster than the long range battery. right....buy a car that costs a bunch more, is slower, costs a fortune to run, and guzzles gas like there's no tomorrow. That's the ticket.
It's probably the camera you have fixed a foot off the car causing all of those "ghosts"...

What people don't know is the batteries are different in the model 3 performance compared to the long range model. The performance has Panasonic batteries which actually charges faster than the long range battery. It’s true but what’s even worse and what nobody talks about is the fact after 1 lap of the circuit the car has used over 60% of it’s battery 🪫 meaning it can only manage 1 fast lap, that’s absolutely terrible for a performance car 🤦🏾♂️ you can’t claim anything as a performance car unless it can manage it’s performance consistently across its battery storage level. Electric tech yes, battery tech 💩 an M3 has the same performance down to the last few miles of range and then in 2mins can fill its tank and continue. Battery’s can’t compete and their claimed performance is just short term. What manufacturers and media should be forced to do is take an average of their performance at different charge levels so it’s more realistic.
