Hello! Thank you for the tutorial series! I have a question that I just cannot get my head around - how can I find and map CH1 and CH11 onto my mini controller in Cakewalk for automation? I don't think volume and pan are the equivalences to CH1 AND CH11. I don't know if you have an answer to this but if you do that would be very much appreciated!
Question on automation lanes. Doing an exercise for a class. I have an audio file where I want to fade footsteps from L to R and front to back. Setting volume automation was easy. I'm stuck on how to automate EQ with Cakewalk's Sonitus EQ. All I want to do is automate a high cut filter from left to right so I go from muddy sound to clear sound. Several tries in and I cannot get it. Let me know how to adjust. Thanks.
This series is great as a general road map as to what is included and brief explanations but I often find myself trying to do something that seems intuitive but isn't. I wanted to lower the gain on 2 identical tracks in the same section with one move. I tried Quick group etc to no avail. How do you do it? You should make in depth tutorials for each effect, editing moves, etc where we can see and hear what happens. If you have these already please tell me how to access them.
Huh...weird. For a really well thought out program, I’d expect customizing your automation curvature to your liking instead of like...a default preset 😅 I’m from Ableton (live production and beat making) and FL Studio (for whipping beats quick) and I’ve tried protools but 🤢🤮 GarageBand is really sick but for a free standard software there’s only some much your limited to (which is fine cuz the trade off is their sound banks and instruments and many free royalty-free loops 👍🏾) but midi editing is really funky. Just been binge watching intros to Cakewalk to see if anything stands out and that’s one of those features but you can only ask so much in a free software yk? Still v pleasing I just need to commit to it 👏🏾 thnx for all your videos man

I am having an issue with the automation. Using automation on plugins doesn't seem to function properly. Like using bypass or mix level on eq on the track or as a send. Have you experienced this?

I really want to know why I cant do this on a bus channel. I try to turn on and off a bus send but I can´t automate it. How do I solve this?
How do i make a sweep filter automation?? In Fl Studio Mobile it's so easy, but i wanted ths on cakewalk and didn't find it anywhere :(
