If a girl is flaking by not responding to your messages or phone calls, or if she cancels dates, then you need to stop chasing her immediately and back off. If you keep chasing her, you will chase her out of attraction and lose her altogether.

The first time a woman cancels or gives an excuse not to see you then you need to drop her on the spot. Its already not looking good. If a woman likes a guy, she will find a way to see him 7 days a week if she can. If a woman says "no i got cooking class tonite maybe next week" that is her telling you yo buzz off. If that same girl liked you, she will say "yes, come over tonite, my cooking class ends at 730". If a woman says no to hanging out even once then it means youre very low on her radar. So low that you need to back off asap. By backing off and dissapearing, you hold your dignity. You will eventually become an object of obsession in her mind....you have now put a woman in your pocket. Your radio silence is putting her in YOUR pocket. So now youre talking to 3 new women for a few days and BOOM, that other girl texts you. Shes still in your back pocket. Dont even bother asking her out. YOU have all tge power now. Let her ask you out. Respond hours late. This is how you create attraction.

It never was backwards! - we were programmed in reverse ever since we were kids.

The day after I ended up going to see Crystal Palace play, and posted it. Also, cos I see this girl at my work place, I just didn't go out of my way to see her, when I was leaving, I just said see you later as I was going.
If they actually forgot or not, don't suggest another day on the spot, just be close ended, and allow her to reach back out, either suggesting another day, or asking you what day you would like to do it. Let her reach out in some sort of way.

Always move on, my own experience! a mother of a long time friend of my parents, she even took care of me when I was 2 years old, wanted me to meet her daughter to talk about my experience as an educator. I'm a special ed teacher, been an educator for 5 years now. Anyways, I graduated from the university of southern California and so happened that her daughter was graduating from that same university as well. Her mother pretty much gave her daughter my number to meet up, she even said to my mom that she hopes I'll get to meet her daughter and possible date. Well! I initiated contact and set up a coffee meeting, pre COVID19, she canceled. Fine, we were about to set up a future meetup, but COVID19 lockdown occurred. Well, we've been communicating on and off, I even suggested to meet via cam. No replies to my suggestions, all while I was trying to meet this "flake," I was trying my luck with online dating. Met a wonderful intelligent woman on it, she's very pretty too. The flake was a gorgeous woman, but I'm not putting up with a woman with flakiness. As for the current lady, We've gone out and gotten to know each other the last month, even with COVID-19 going on! See, if a woman is into you, not even a pandemic will stop them from meeting you. Don't get me wrong, I'm still using dating sites just in case. LoL! For now, I'm having fun getting to know the current interested lady. :)

In principle, I agree. In online dating however, especially for a new match that you haven't met yet, you need to follow up otherwise you'll never have success. That's just the fickle nature of dating apps. Once you have met, I agree that you should not send follow up messages for subsequent dates. If she doesn't reply, she's not interested. Move on.

Instead of flaking you should've just said that you already had plans that date and left it at that. She would've eventually tried to reschedule again, but now that you both flaked once it's highly unlikely that either one of you will want to initiate contact first. And if you were to reach out first and ask her out again, I can guarantee she would flake again just to get back at you. I would just move on tbh
