It's nice to have a rock racer that is drivable at 1/2-3/4 throttle and always have the OPTION to total it out at about 40mph! Haha! That's how I feel about mine..

This is the best review I've seen, my 2 cents, like other great high powered RC trucks, soft springs, lower the truck, probably preform better 🤔...

Suggestion: if you put in a cheapo Holmes Hobbies 5 slot 550 motor and a quicrun 1080 brushed esc, it'll go pretty slow, with very good control. Go crawlin'. Swap it back out for the kit combo, and you're back to speed bashing again. Just my 2 cents.

I put a 1080 with a 21 turn traxxas brushed motor and burnt the motor out rather quickly . The gearing would need to be changed.

Can it crawl well though as well as go fast? Would a smaller pinion help it be more of a crawler than a racer?
I don't want a crawler but don't want one that can't crawl either.
You can't go fast and crawl well. Like a drag Jeep with 3 foot articulation. Not good.

So it’s an axial scx10 deadbolt with a brushless system.
All crawlers are pretty much the same look.

New pinion is here and time to check the slipper setting. Super critical in a locked drivetrain.

Redcat products always break like balsa wood. I always spent more time ordering buying and replacing parts than I ever did driving. Oh yeah, they make the WORST tires in the game.
